  • This paper presents a methodology for developing the graphic simulator for a robotic workcell. The Petri Net model is applied to described the system state and the workcell simulation is performed by the event scheduling approach of the model. For the graphic display of simulation process, the information of the workcell resources are stored in hierachically-structured data_babe, and the geometry of the resources is described by robot modelling, component modelling, and world modelling.

  • This paper presents the development of the graphic simulator for an assembly workcell. The assembly workcell consists of two PUMA 560 manipulators, a conveyor belt system, a work table, and a vision sensor. In this study, the Petri Net theory is applied to model the assembly workcell and to construct the simulator. The event scheduling approach is used to simulate the cell. In order to show the graphic display of the simulation process, robot modelling, component modelling, and world modelling are included. The developed simulator is used to display the transition of the system state during the simulation. It is also used as a tool in selection the best resource states by studying the performance of the system as the resource states are changed.

  • 본 논문에서는 클러스터 정의시 사용하게 되는 특성으로 노드간 패스 수에 기반한 K-edge 컴포넌트의 그래픽 정의 방법과 노드를 클러스터화 하는 집합화(Aggregation) 방법을 제시하였다. 집합화된 하이퍼텍스트 분리를 통해 이전 결과를 개선할 수 있으며, 집합내의 노드간 관련성을 가시화하여 비교할 수 있다.

Development of Color Image Processing System based on Spectral Reflectance Ratio (분광반사율에 기반한 색영상처리 시스템 개발)

  • In recent year, many imaging systems have been developed, and it became increasingly important to exchange image data through the computer network. Therefore, it is required to reproduce color image independently on each imaging device. However, even if the image are same, perceived color is not always same under different viewing conditions. On the other hand, even if the image are different, we want to perceive same color under different viewing conditions. Therefore we must know the spectral reflectance information of object. We measured many reflectance human skin can be estimate using only three principal component. For Munsell color patches, five principle components were necessary to estimate the reflectance spectra. For that purpose, we have developed color image acquisition system that is composed of five band filters and CCD camera. Improved spectral reflectance of object is predicted by five band images taken by color image acquisition system and then we take account of camera's noise and component of object image for predicting accurate spectral reflectance of object. In the results, we confirmed that color difference and MSE(Mean Square Error) between measured and predicted spectral reflectance of object decreased into 0.0071 and 7.72 respectively.

  • There has been more increased the development of 3D technique since many 3D contents of 3D graphic model, 3D mobile/computer game, and 3D CAD have been serviced in Web or industry fields. Therefore, the watermarking system is more required to protect the copyright for 3D contents. Currently there has been researched about the watermarking for 3D graphic model of mesh or NURBS. However, watermarking technique based on CAD design drawing leaves something to be desired yet. This paper proposed the watermarking technique for 3D CAD design drawing using Line and Arc components. After drawing out Line and Arc components from designed drawing, we embed the watermark into both the length of Line component and the radius of Arc component. Experimental results verified that the proposed algorithm satisfies the transparency about watermarked drawing and also has the robustness against several attacks by using public CAD tool.

  • Recently, there have been increased many 3 dimensional graphic applications in Internet. Thus, a growing number of methods have been proposed for retrieving 3-D graphic data using their 3D features such as color, texture, shape, and spacial relations. However, few researches focus on 3D graphic modeling and database storage techniques. In this paper, we introduce a system that can store 3D graphics data modeled by XML-based 3D graphics markup language, 3DGML, and support content-based retrievals on 3D data by using SQL. We also present a mapping technique of 3DGML to relational database. The mapping process includes the extraction of semantic information from 3DGML and translate it into relational format. Finally, we show examples of SQL queries which use the 3D information contained in a 3D scene such as objects, 3D features, descriptions and scene-object component hierarchy.

  • Recently, Virtual reality parts is applied in various fields of industry. In this paper we got under control motion of reality robot from interface manipulation in the virtual world. This paper created virtual robot using of 3D Graphic Tool. And we reappeared a similar image with reality robot put on texture the use of components of Direct 3D Graphic. Also a reality robot and a virtual robot is controlled by joystick. The developed robot consists of robot controller with vision system and host PC program. The robot and camera can move with 2 degree of freedom by independent remote controlling a user friendly designed joystick. An environment is recognized by the vision system and ultra sonic sensors. The visual mage and command data translated through 900MHz and 447MHz RF controller, respectively. If user send robot control command the use of simulator to control the reality robot, the transmitter/recever got under control until 500miter outdoor at the rate of 4800bps a second in Hlaf Duplex method via radio frequency module useing 447MHz frequency.

  • A research framework and hypothesis were established for analysing layout-factors of bus wrapping which influence on brand attitude. 130 questionnaire were distributed and 123 copies were retreated at metropolitan area. SPSS 12.0 was used for frequency analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis. For testing hypothesis multi-regression analysis were utilized. Attention, readability, explicitness, formativeness, creativity are partially significant to establish brand attitude. Attention and readability are insignificant, while explicitness, formativeness, creativity are significant to establish brand attitude. The most effective independent variables are creativity, and explicitness and formativeness are followed. In particular sensual, original, fresh layout of bus wrapping are highly significant.

  • This paper summerizes a prototype central control system of distribution automation system, which is a result of project carried out by KERI and 6 companies. Of the many possible systems, feeder automation oriented system is described. Control hardware system is composed of one super-mini and 2 workstations. Two kinds of commercial softwares, DBMS and graphic tools, are adopted. Three component system of the hardware has its own role, host system for DB managent, F.A. program running, communication scheduling, and etc., two workstations for communication node and graphic interface node. System management program, feeder automation program including load forcasting, communication scheduling and supervisory contorl functions are developed on the basis of above hardware and properly designed protocol, communication system and terminals.

  • Overhead cranes which carry heavy items in construction or production areas consist of structure and electric modules. More than 80% of breakdowns bring out of the electric module. As operators do not know all about cranes, it sometimes takes much time to repair the cranes. In order to resolve this problem, the expert system which can diagnose causes of faults and give instructions for repair to operators, has been developed. The scope of the paper is limited to the electric module. First of all, analyzing symptoms and causes, we have developed a rule base with the expert system shell, EXSYS. Furthermore, for the facility maintenance including repair instructions against the causes, the instruction data base was developed with FOXPRO. On the other hand, for the help of user's understanding the fault causes, the graphic animation module which shows malfunctioning component ports or motions in 3D was developed with the graphic software, TOPAS VGA.
