극소형 전자기계장치에 관한 연구전망

  • 1. CAD system과 PROPS를 접속하여 CADsystem에서 Design된 surface를 사용할 수 있으며 Robot Kinematics를 graphic library화하여 surface배치 수상 및 path generation 및 animation을 통하여 가공작업을 위한 로보트 운동을 simulation할 수 있게 되었다. 2. Denavit-hartenberg transformation form에 의해 여러 Robot Kinematic을 일반적인 형식으로 library화 하였다. 3. 금형 가공의 공정들을 Menu로 만들어서 Expert system을 도입, 손쉽게 Interactive한 작업을 할 수 있게 하였다. 4. 차후의 연구 목표는 로보트 Calibration S/W의 개발 및 실현 그리고 Expert System을 이용한 Robot Program Generator의 완성을 통한 전체 Off-line programming System을 정립하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 더 실제적인 Tool Path Generation과 Expert System을 이용한 가공 조건의 결정 및 User Interface를 위한 Window가 개발되어야 한다. 5. 1차년도에 개발된 Robotonomic Tool System의 유연성을 확장시킨다. 실험결과를 바탕으로 공정 자동화 시스템을 확장시킨다. 6. 연마공정자동화에 필수적인 공구 및 공구 Tip의 표준화 및 자동교환장치를 개발한다. 7. 금형연마 Cell의 구성요소들간의 Interface 및 System Controller에서의 집적화를 시킨다.

  • A knowledge based forecasting system for special days has been developed for the economic and secure operation of electric power system. If-then production rules has been adopted in this system to be used in various environmental conditions. Graphic user interfaces enables a user to access easily to the system. The simulation based on the historical data have shown that the forecasting result was improved remarkably when compared to the results from the conventional statistical methods. The forecasting results can be used for power system operational planning to improve security and economy of the power system.

갈등문제 해결을 위한 시스템다이내믹스와 제약이론 방법론의 상호 보완적 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Complementary Usage of System Dynamics and Theory of Constraints Approaches for Solving a Dilemma)

  • The purpose of this paper is to investigate a possibility of applying multimethodological approach for solving a dilemma. The motivation of this attempt is that the two different approaches, the system dynamics and the theory of constraints, resemble each other in having mental models for describing the target system and using graphic tools for representing those mental models. After a brief discussion on the comparison of the two approaches, a combined method applying to the problem of dilemma is suggested. For an experimental example, the proposed approach is applied to the sales and finance conflict on an inventory issue. The study shows that the suggested approach is able to complement each other's drawbacks. Especially constructing a stock-and-flow model and implementing a computer simulation would be very useful for quantifying the system's behavior which is hardly tracked down when applying the theory of constraints alone.

  • In this paper, a real-time multibody vehicle dynamics and control model has been developed for a virtual reality intelligent vehicle simulator. The simulator consists of low PCs for a virtual reality visualization system, vehicle dynamics and control analysis system a control loading system, and a network monitoring system. Virtual environment is created by 3D Studio Max graphic tool and OpenGVS real-time rendering library. A real-time vehicle dynamics and control model consists of a control module based on the sliding mode control for adaptive cruise control and a real-time multibody vehicle dynamics module based on the subsystem synthesis method. To verify the real-time capability of the model, cut-in, cut-out simulations have been carried out.

  • This paper presents an implementation of vector control for SPMSM using model based controller design in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The model based controller design enables fast development of control system for motor by designing controllers and performing simulation on the GUI (Graphic User Interface) platform, converting program code directly into real-time programs, and then performing tests for the responses from controllers. The controllers designed in this paper are PI speed controller and decoupling PI current controller. Also space vector modulation method using offset voltage is used in PWM scheme. And system stability is also secured by close magnitude overmodulation method, maintaining dynamics of load when overmodulation occurs. The validity of vector control implemented is verified through simulations and experiments.

  • 최근 과학 전 분야에서 나노 스케일에서의 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이에 따라 컴퓨터를 이용하여 실험에서 발견되는 현상을 해석하거나 일어날 일을 예측하는 일이 중요해지고 있다. 이러한 전산모사를 수행하기 위하여, 원자구조의 모델링이 선행되어야 한다. 현재 본 그룹에서는 Python 언어를 기반으로 모델링을 위한 패키지를 개발하고 있다. 이 패키지에는 최근 나노과학에서 빈번히 사용되는 Graphene이나 Carbon Nano Tube, 실리콘 표면 등을 생성하는 기능과 만든 모델을 편집하여 연구자가 원하는 모델을 편집하는 기능이 포함되어 있다. 향후 Python을 모르는 사람들도 쓸 수 있는 GUI (graphic User Interface) 를 구현할 예정이다.

예외상황 처리를 고려한 반도체 통합제조장비 시뮬레이터 (Simulator of Integrated Single-Wafer Processing Tools with Contingency Handling)

  • An integrated single-wafer processing tool, composed of multiple single wafer processing modules, transfer robots, and load locks, has complex routing sequences, and often has critical post-processing residency constraints. Scheduling of these tools is an intricate problem, and testing schedulers with actual tools requires too much time and cost. The Single Wafer Processor (SWP) simulator presented in this paper is to validate an on-line scheduler, and evaluate performance of integrated single-wafer processing tools before the scheduler is actually deployed into real systems. The data transfer between the scheduler and the simulator is carried out with TCP/IP communication using messages and files. The developed simulator consists of six modules, i.e., GUI (Graphic User Interface), emulators, execution system, module managers, analyzer, and 3D animator. The overall framework is built using Microsoft Visual C++, and the animator is embodied using OpenGL API (Application Programming Interface).

  • This paper is intended to provide a method to design control software fur the TCMS, train control and monitoring system. The TCMS with this control software will be applied KOREA Standard EMU. The control software is designed by SCADE Case tool to concern safety and reliability. The function for the EMU is implemented in software easily programmed, using a functional block, graphic programming language. the control software has modular design and each module is tested with SCADE simulator. This time we focus a HVAC(heater, ventilation and air conditioner controller) control module, present a design method and a simulation method for that module.

조립형 박막 트랜지스터 모델링 프레임워크 (Assembly Modeling Framework for Thin-Film Transistors)

  • As the demand on displays increases, new thin-film transistors such as metal oxide transistor are continuously being invented. When designing a circuit consisting of such new transistors, a new transistor model based on proper charge transport mechanisms is needed for each of them. In this paper, a modeling framework which enables to choose charge transport mechanisms that are limited to certain operation regions and assemble them into a transistor model instead of making an integrated transistor model dedicated to each transistor. The framework consists of a graphic user interface to choose charge transport models and a current calculation part, which is also implemented in AIM-SPICE for circuit simulation.

  • This paper describes design features of a cleaning robot for use in a radioactive zone of the Isolation room of the Irradiated Material Examination Facility (IMEF) at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute (KAERI). This cleaning robot is intended to completely eliminate human interaction with hazardous radioactive contaminants. The clean ing robot that is operated either by manual mode or by autonomous mode is designed to be capable of cleaning the isolation room´s floor surface and collecting dry nuclear fuel debris and other radioactive waste placed on the floor. The functional, mechanical and electrical design considerations of the cleaning robot in terms of remote cleanup operation and remote maintenance at a radioactive environment are presented.
