시변 장애물 회피 동작 계획을 위한 수학적 접근 방법 (A mathematical approach to motion planning for time-varying obstacle avoidance)

  • A robot manipulator and an obstacle are described mathematically in joint space, with the mathematical representation for the collision between the robot manipulator and the obstacle. Using these descriptions, the robot motion planning problem is formulated which can be used to avoide a time varying obstacle. To solve the problem, the constraints on motion planning are discretized in joint space. An analytical method is proposed for planning the motion in joint space from a given starting point to the goal point. It is found that solving the inverse kinematics problem is not necessary to get the control input to the joint motion controller for collision avoidance.

  • Multi Progress Planning System problem in a multi-stage manufacturing system have a complexity and peculiarity different from other kinds of production system. World leading company has invested much cost and effort into a Real-Time Planning System and intelligent manufacturing field to obtain their own competitiveness. Especially Real-Time Planning System for ship production process as a part of intelligence for a shipyard. Real-Time Planning System, simulation based system, or virtual manufacturing system is an approach to achieve a such goal. It is expected that the Real-Time Planning System will contribute to the improvement of the productivity in working process at a shipyard. Also, This Real-Time Planning System will optimize the entire shipbuilding process in a multi progress planning environment for the delivery.

  • This paper with the development and analysis of a quantitative model for reducing operating budgets of the academic units of small private university, while reflecting the diverse goals of the university. A zero-one goal programming approach is used to design and implement the model for budgetary decision making. The goal programming model can facilitate academic planning and decision-making by providing valuable information.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influences of goal-oriented value to the financial management and financial satisfaction of female college students. The samples were selected from 541 female collegians. Data analysed were carried out using SAS package. Statistics used for data analysis was Cronbach'$\alpha$ coefficient, multiple regression, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis. The results were summarized as follows : First, resulting from the multiple regression analysis, the goal-oriented value had positive effects to the financial management - planning, implementing, evaluating, and saving - of female collegians. And the goal-oriented value had not indirectly but directly positive effects to the financial satisfaction. Second, the variables that have significant influence on the financial satisfaction were the level of household income, goal-oriented value, implementing, and monthly personal allowance.

  • The goal setting and performance measurement is essential tool for performance management. If appropriate goal setting and performance measurement is not done, problems may arise in the management. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency of building production that management is essential. In addition, the construction project objectives established at the planning phase give considerable influence on the success of the construction project. Therefore, objective of this paper is to suggest the necessity of performance goal setting phase. This paper analyzes problems of goal setting phase and suggests the way to improve about problems.

가상 탄성력을 이용한 자율이동로봇 경로생성 방법 (A Path Generation Method for a Autonomous Mobile Robot based on a Virtual Elastic Force)

  • 본 논문에서는 그리드 기반의 맵에서 자율이동로봇의 경로생성방법 및 가상 탄성력을 이용한 경로최적화 방법을 다룬다. 경로계획의 목적은 로봇이 주어진 환경에서 효율적으로 목표점을 향해 이동할 수 있도록 정보 생성하는 것이다. 그리드 기반의 경로계획기법으로 AStar 알고리즘이 대표적인 방법이며 본 논문에서는 AStar 알고리즘에 의해 작성된 경로를 가상 탄성력 알고리즘을 이용하여 경로를 최적화하는 알고리즘을 제안하고 있으며 그 결과를 비교한다. 가상 탄성력은 생성된 경로를 더 짧고 부드럽게 생성해주는 장점을 가지고 있으며 그리드 기반의 경로를 최적화 하는데 매우 유리하다.

공동주택단지 외부공간 친환경 요소의 적용현황 및 개선점 연구 (A Study on the Improvement and Application of Environmentally-Friendly Factors at Outdoor Spaces in Apartment Complexes)

  • This study investigated how external environmentally-friendly factors adopted to improve the quality of outdoor spaces have been designed and used in the construction of apartment complexes. The goal of this study is to determine what areas should be improved through environmentally-friendly ways to create natural outdoor spaces in apartment complexes and enhance their availability and usefulness. For this study, 21 environmentally-friendly factors were chosen and a checklist by specific item was prepared. This study examine how these items were applied to basic planning, detail design, and construction in 4 target areas. As a result, it was found that the development of environmentally-friendly residential areas was an ultimate goal of the project during basic planning and design. All target areas focused on developing an inner greens network, eco-pond, brook, and pedestrian track as well as the growth of a variety of plants. Some differences have been observed, however, in terms of method. Furthermore, due to economic and technological problems and poor construction site conditions, green walls/green roofs/pedestrian tracks/use of rainwater have not been properly promoted. These kinds of problems must be improved through the development of environmentally-friendly construction methods and materials, the expansion of natural grounds areas, economic support, a satisfactory repair and maintenance system.

Motion Planning for Mobile Robots Using a Spline Surface

  • The artificial potential method uses a potential field to guide a robot from a start to a goal configuration respectively. The potential field consists of attractive potential used to pull a robot toward a goal and repulsive potential to keep it away from obstacles. However, there are two problems concerning local minimum and computational cost to be resolved in conventional artificial potential methods. This study proposes a method utilizing a spline surface that interpolates arbitrary boundaries and a domain reduction method that reduces the unnecessary area. The proposed spline surface interpolates arbitrary shaped boundaries and is used as an artificial potential to guide a robot for global motion planning of a mobile robot. A reduced domain process reduces the unnecessary domain. We apply a distance-weighted function as such a function, which blends distances from each boundary with a reduction in computational time compared with other analytical methods. As a result, this paper shows that an arbitrary boundary spline surface provides global planning and a domain reduction method reduces local minimum with quick operation.

도시성장관리정책의 갈등 구조 및 조종 미국 도시성장관리정책의 교훈 (Conflict Structure of Urban Growth Management Policies and Conflict Mitigation Alternatives : Lessons from the United States' Experience)

  • This study aims at drawing implications for Korea's urban growth management policies from U.S.A's experience on this issue. This study analyzes two types of contradictions in planning and implementing urban growth management policies: 1) value conflicts in goal setting and 2) contradictions among different level of governments (local, province, nation). As mentioned by Campbell (1996), there are three types of conflicts in objective values (efficiency, equity, and environment protection): property contradiction between economic growth and equity, resource conflict between efficiency and environment protection, and development conflict between equity and environment protection in urban growth management policies. In implementing urban growth management three types of conflicts in goal values should been taken into consideration. Contradictions among local governments, province, and central government are also found in implementing growth management policies. The lessons from the United State are as follow: 1) growth management plans are initiated by the local government and during the planning process adjacent local governments review a local government's growth management plans and give inputs for the plan, 2) local government and State work together for growth management planning and specially, the State provides technical and financial assistance to local government, and 3) the State plays leading roles in local government's planning and implementing of growth management policies with carrot and stick policy.

복합쇼핑몰 개발과정에서 각 사업단계간의 관련성 분석 (Analysis on the Relationship between Each of the Steps in the Complex Shopping Mall Development)

  • 본 연구는 복합쇼핑몰 개발에 있어서 각 사업단계(사업기획단계, 분양준공단계, 관리운영단계)들이 개발사업의 전체적 관점에서 일관성 있는 최종 목적을 위해 그 연관관계가 목적달성에 적합하게 이루어지고 있는가에 대한 실태 분석을 목적으로 구조방정식모형을 이용하여 검정하였다. 분석결과 사업기획단계가 분양준공단계에 양의 영향을 미쳐, 성공적 준공 및 분양을 위해서는 사업기획이 충실히 준비되어야함을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 사업기획단계와 관리운영단계 및 성공정도, 분양준공단계와 관리운영단계 및 성공정도, 관리운영단계와 성공정도 간에는 유의수준 0.05하에서 통계적으로 유의한 관련성을 나타내지 않아서 우리나라 복합쇼핑몰 개발에서의 각 사업단계들이 프로젝트 전체적인 관점에서 일관성 있는 목표달성을 위해 긴밀히 연관되지 못하고 각 단계 자체만의 수익창출을 위해 근시안적으로 업무가 수행되고 있다는 점을 보여주었다.
