  • Recently Neural Network techniques have widely used in adaptive and learning control schemes for production systems. However, generally it costs a lot of time for learning in the case applied in control system. Furthermore, the physical meaning of neural networks constructed as a result is not obvious. And in practice since it is difficult to the PID gains suitably lots of researches have been reported with respect to turning schemes of PID gains. A Neural Network-based PID control scheme is proposed, which extracts skills of human experts as PID gains. This controller is designed by using three-layered neural networks. The effectiveness of the proposed Neural Network-based PID control scheme is investigated through an application for a production control system. This control method can enable a plant to operate smoothy and obviously as the plant condition varies with any unexpected accident. This paper goal is convergence speed progress about applied gain of PID controller using the neural networks.

  • This study aims to verify the relationship between achievement goal orientation and life satisfaction. It consists of 450 athletes from high school, university, and professional teams as an object. After examining reliability and validity on questionnaires, the data, based on gender, was evaluated by analysis of variance, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The result says that male athletes have higher scores in Mastery approach and Performance approach - two of the four achievement motivation factors - which means a meaningful difference between gender. Life satisfaction also shows that male players have more satisfaction and indicates a big difference between gender. Finally, according to the multiple regression analysis on the Athlete's achievement goal orientation and life satisfaction, Mastery approach affects statically but Mastery avoidance does negatively on athlete's life satisfaction. The gender-based relationship between Athlete's achievement goal orientation and life satisfaction reveals that mastery approach gives positive effects on life satisfaction for both genders, but mastery avoidance influences negatively on male and female life satisfaction.

  • The aim of this research is to investigate the effect of how individuals monitor the time in their life on persuasion and the moderating role of goal orientation and types of persuasive message in the relationship between time monitoring and persuasion. By controlling participants' time horizon perspectives (THPs), an experiment using a 2 (THP: limited vs. expansive) × 3 (goal orientation: approach vs. avoidance vs. control) × 2 (message type: emotional vs. knowledge-related) between-subjects design was conducted.. Results showed that when participants with limited THP, those who oriented avoidance goals were more favorable to knowledge-related messages, whereas those who oriented approach goals preferred emotional messages. Participants with expansive THP were more persuaded by knowledge-related messages, regardless of pursuing goal types.

  • In this paper, the goal is to investigate how manipulating the camera can minimize motion sickness and maximize immersion when a user moves in a virtual environment that requires vertical movement. In general, since a user uses virtual reality in a flat space, the actual movement of the user and the virtual movement are different, resulting in sensory conflict, which has the possibility of causing virtual reality motion sickness. Therefore, we propose three powerful camera manipulation techniques, implement them, and then propose which model is most appropriate through user experiments.

  • The scope of the problems that could be solved by monitoring and the improvement of the recognition time is directly correlated to the performance of the management function of the business process. However, the current monitoring process of business activities decides whether to apply warnings or not by assuming a fixed environment and showing expressions based on the design rules. Also, warnings are applied by carrying out the measuring process when the event attribute values are inserted at every point. Therefore, there is a limit for distinguishing the range of occurrence and the level of severity in regard to the new external problems occurring in a complicated environment. Such problems cannot be ed. Also, since it is difficult to expand the range of problems which can be possibly evaluated, it is impossible to evaluate any unexpected situation which could occur in the execution period. In this paper, a process-evaluating model based on the goal scenario is suggested to provide constant services through the current monitoring process in regard to the service demands of the new scenario which occurs outside. The new demands based on the outside situation are analyzed according to the goal scenario for the process activities. Also, by using the meta-heuristic algorithm, a similar process model is found and identified by combining similarity and interrelationship. The process can be stopped in advance or adjusted to the wanted direction.

  • This article presents key research needs in three-dimensional integrated circuit (3D IC) architectural floorplanning. Architectural floorplaning is done at a very early stage of 3D IC design process, where the goal is to quickly evaluate architectural designs described in register-transfer level (RTL) in terms of power, performance, and reliability. This evaluation is then fed back to architects for further improvement and/or modifications needed to meet the target constraints. We discuss the details of the following research needs in this article: block-level modeling, through-silicon-via (TSV) insertion and management, and chip/package co-evaluation. The goal of block-level modeling is to obtain physical, power, performance, and reliability information of architectural blocks. We then assemble the blocks into multiple tiers while connecting them using TSVs that are placed in between hard IPs and inside soft IPs. Once a full-stack 3D floorplanning is obtained, we evaluate it so that the feedback is provided back to architects.

  • Results of Investment mean not results of procedure but the final goal of an organization. That is to say, results focus on success or failure of investment. So, cost effectiveness means financial cost that is affected in order to attain the output of organizational goal. Many enterprises are investing in developing and redeveloping various projects of information systems. But, it is not generally considered to check values with monitoring and evaluating their projects. We propose a new value model for information systems investment.

  • Measurement is used for evaluation of product or process exactly. If it couldn't measured correctly, Quality-cost must be raised and it would be hard to improve product quality. So, this study suggests improvement guide line for the multilateral problems of measuring instrument operation based on the investigation of 157 small and medium-sized enterprises in February, 2008. To use measuring instrument correctly, man who treat it must be accustomed with the structure, the performance, the method. The instrument is selected properly for the measurement goal. If not, results couldn't be correctly or wasted time, efforts, and costs. When selecting a instrument, the tolerance, the size, the figure, the material, and the efficiency must be considered. If the measuring instruments are controlled efficiently, it could be accomplished that improving product quality and coinciding with the goal of QM.

  • The folate receptor (FR) is a promising cell membrane-associated target for nuclear imaging of various cancers (via imaging $FR-{\alpha}$) and potentially also inflammatory diseases (via imaging $FR-{\beta}$), through the use of folic acid-based radioconjugates. However, there have been several drawbacks of previously reported radioconjugates, such as a short half-life of the radiolabel ($^{68}Ga\;t_{1/2}$ 68 min), a complex and time-consuming multistep radiosynthesis, and a high renal uptake of radiolabeled folate derivatives. The goal of this study was to develop an imaging probe by directly labeling folate with radioactive iodine without using an extra prosthetic group. The radiolabeling of folate was optimized using various labeling conditions and the labeled tracers were isolated by high-performance liquid chromatography. The in vitro stability of labeled folate was checked in phosphate-buffered saline and serum. The tumor-targeting efficacy of the probe was also evaluated by biodistribution studies using a murine 4T1 tumor model.
