The 2008 global financial crisis was triggered by the Lehman Brothers crisis caused by the sub-prime mortgage crisis in the United States This crisis has had an impact on the globe's dry bulk shipping market by reducing dry bulk cargo volume. An oversupply of dry bulk carriers caused a serious recession in the globe's dry-bulk shipping industry and shipbuilding industry. In this situation, the Korean dry-bulk shipping companies were victims of the quagmire of a long recession since the global financial crisis and could not overcome this crisis. This condition forced them into severe financial risk Thus, it caused many shipping companies to file for bankruptcy. In this study, we classified Korean ocean-going dry-bulk shipping companies into two groups, that is, the solvent group and the insolvent group. We also separated the research period before and after the 2008 global financial crisis. Then we investigated the differences in the major financial ratios of the two groups by t-test and found that some financial ratios such as profitability ratios and growth ratios showed the difference between the two groups with statistical significance. The significance of this study is as follow. First, the shipping company management is also crucial for the systematic management of financial strength and business strategy, it is crucial to manage cargo which a high profitable freight. Second, the shipping company should be managed as a company with continued growth through efficient operation and management of ships.

Recently, in the global financial transaction field, global transactions using computer systems and server hubs between foreign exchanges beyond the one-dimensional offline transactions and two-dimensional online transactions have been actively conducted. In the previous research by Lee Hyung-wook and Lee Min-jae (2018), as the globalization has accelerated following the development of digital technology and the expansion of ubiquitous communication network, the role of companies, the attribute of economic value creation and economic structure are being reorganized. It is said that O2O (Online to Offline) transactions are increasing due to the development. As a result, a new financial transaction paradigm is emerging that solves the inconveniences of existing financial services and enhances speed and convenience. Considering the global network trend and the rapidly developing and evolving digital bank environment, the necessity of utilizing the business platform model is emerging. However, despite this necessity, there are very limited cases in which such an attempt has been applied in practice. Accordingly, this study seeks to explore the business platform of the new financial transaction system. Specifically, the case study systematically examines the actual implementation of a unique network connection model with Koscom's global investment bank, which is currently in charge of the domestic financial transaction system, and improves ICT innovation performance and process through this. I would like to suggest a solution. In particular, this study analyzed a variety of business model construction and use cases by pursuing a platform connection with digital banks, which has recently been increasingly in demand. Therefore, this study intends to pursue the original and long-term profitability of the company by utilizing ICT innovation and platform business model, and also analyzes the convenience and excellence of trading for institutional and individual investors using the platform of digital bank. The implications of this study are significant in that it explores and explores the actual cases of ICT innovation and additional digital bank platform-connected business models based on this, and suggests a unique and preemptive business strategy of the company in the future.

As the 4th industry is introduced these days, so the demand of various semiconductors is growing in the market. And global semiconductor companies in semiconductor industry are responding to this demand by facilitating innovation. Meanwhile, there has been done many studies regarding supply chain for a long time. And the study of supply chain in semiconductor industry has often been carried out until now. But there were no enough case studies regarding the supply chain of semiconductor company. Therefore, this study carried out a comparative case study for global semiconductor companies' supply chain and compared each companies' supply chain management and strategy. In conclusion, all the companies are executing supply chain management in an aggressive, systematic and organized way, and there were a lot of similarities and a few differences among these companies in supply chain management. Furthermore, each company has a unique way for supply chain strategy. Lastly, this study suggested some messages which are helpful for their supply chain strategy.

This study outlines possible risk factors in the SCM of a company and correlates risk assessment, the strategy of risk management, and the supply chain performance. The data is surveyed from an international Korean company and is analyzed by the structure equation model of actual proof. The research model verifies the correlation between the risk assessment, the strategy of risk management, and the supply chain performance as dependent variables after the risk factors of the SCM are defined as independent variables. The research shows that there are consecutive links among the risk factors of the SCM, the risk assessment, and the strategy of risk management. The strategy of risk management was conclusively determined to have an effect on supply chain performance. Therefore, improving the supply chain performance of a company requires the constructive process for risk management based on a correlation between risk assessment and the strategy of risk management.

Nowadays, green purchasing, stop global warming, love the mother earth, and others that related to environment become hot issues. Manufactures industries tend to more active and responsive to those issues by adopting green strategies or program like Environmentally Conscious Manufacturing (ECM). In this article, an electronic company had applied 12 ECM Program and tries to choose one of those programs using 6 criteria, such as total cost involved, quality, recyclable material, process waste reduction, packaging waste reduction, and regulation compliance. By using multi-criteria decision making model, i.e. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), and Modified TOPSIS methods, the ECM Program 9 (Open pit) is the best option.

Non-used waste heat has recently been paid special attention due to several global warming regulation and energy cost rising. In this study, therefore, thermal energy storage system which uses a solid type heat media has been investigated about the possibility of heat accumulation and heat release for thermal energy storage system. 35kWh of bench-scale thermal storage system was used to investigate the characteristics of the solid type heat media. From the result, it is shown that a solid type heat media should be divided to supply constant heat to the customers' side. It is also shown the flow direction should be considered to reduce temperature difference between top and bottom sides in the thermal storage system.

The flexible pedestrian legform impactor(Flex-PLI) consisting of a flexible femur and tibia will be tested for pedestrian protection by global technical regulation(GTR) within the next couple of years as a replacement for the existing transport research laboratory(TRL) legform impactor. In this study, a computer aided engineering(CAE) model was used to perform the effect analysis of each injury with regard to the changes in tolerance factors with the baseline results without tolerance. The tolerance factors were the height of impactor from ground reference line, initial velocity of impactor and rotation of impactor.

Global financial crisis at 2008 bring about the great change to the company itself and its environment. In these days, the company needs change to the ambidextrous organization, which have more efficiency processes also have more attractive products and services. Ambidextrous organization purse exploiting and exploration innovation program. For the existing process's incremental and rapid improvement, the exploiting innovation programs are used such as 6 Sigma program and so on. For the new business model's searching and developments, the exploration innovation programs are used such as blue ocean program and brainstorming and so on. In this paper is presented the new procedures, for the new business model development, combining exploration and exploiting innovation programs. To obtain the creative business ideas, various exploration methodologies are adopted based on 6 Sigma's methodology, The new procedures are applied to the venture company and examined its validity.

In knowledge information society entering global unlimited competition era, our middle and small sized companies are the base of national and enterprise competitiveness and core base of national economy as an origin of jobs. The competitiveness of middle and small sized companies is so important to decide the level of the competitiveness of the whole industries, but the gap from big sized company is much low in comparison with advanced countries from angles of important factors of enterprise growth, productivity and technological competitiveness, so, it's urgent to improve the competitiveness through productivity enhancement. The purpose of this research is to do a positive study on effects of learning organization management outcomes of middle and small sized company on enterprise productivity among various types of outcome brought for strengthening of enterprise competitiveness. It confirmed learning organization has functions and usefulness as a management tool bringing positive effects on enterprise productivity through the Productivity improvement.
