Despite rapidly increasing demand for fishing, there is a lack of studies and information related to fishing, and there is a limit to obtaining the data on the global distribution of fish resources. Since the existing method of investigating fish resource distribution is designed to collect the fish resource information by visiting the investigation area using a throwing net, it is almost impossible to collect nation-wide data, such as streams, rivers, and seas. In addition, the existing method of measuring the length of fish used a tape measure, but in this study, a FishingTAG's smart measure was developed. When recording a picture using a FishingTAG's smart measure, the length of the fish and the environmental data when the fish was caught are automatically collected, and there is no need to carry a tape measure, so the user's convenience can be increased. With the development of a global fishing application using a FishingTAG's smart measure, first, it is possible to collect fish resource samples in a wide area around the world continuously on a real time basis. Second, it is possible to reduce the enormous cost for collecting fish resource data and to monitor the distribution and expansion of the alien fish species disturbing the ecosystem. Third, by visualizing global fish resource information through the Google Maps, users can obtain the information on fish resources according to their location. Since it provides the fish resource data collected on a real time basis, it is expected to of great help to various studies and the establishment of policies.

This paper suggests a measure constraint locus for characterization of the performance of a subtask for a redundant robot. The measure constraint locus are the loci of points satisfying the necessary constraint for optimality of measure in the joint configuration space. To uniquely obtain an inverse kinematic solution, one must consider both measure constraint locus and self-motion manifolds which are set of homogeneous solutions. Using measure constraint locus for maniqulability measure, the invertible workspace without singularities and the topological property of the configuration space for linding equilibrium configurations are analyzed. We discuss some limitations based on the topological arguments of measure constraint locus, of the inverse kinematic algorithm for a cyclic task. And the inverse kinematic algorithm using global maxima on self-motion manifolds is proposed and its property is studied.
In this paper we modify two indicators related to the global avalanche criterion (GAC) and discuss their properties. Also, we apply the modified indicators to measure the GAC of S-boxes of DES.

The urban stream include the channel and its adjacent banks, or hillslopes and it consists of various landscape elements. The riparian ecosystem is important to people. Its water is extracted for irrigation and drinking supplies. Biodiversity and many wetland species are protected here. The riparian ecosystem is diverse and needs to be preserved well. So, it is necessary to measure the features of the urban stream accurately to figure out the change of the riparian ecosystem. However, the traditional Electronic Distance Measurement(EDM) surveying is difficult to measure the curvilinear features of the stream - e, g, angle, curve. The beacon Differential Global Positioning System(DGPS) can handle to measure the curvilinear shape. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to measure the change of the river bed in urban stream accurately using realtime beacon DGPS, and ultimately to provide the basic data for identifying the change of the river ecosystem.
A new error measure for a static finite element analysis is proposed. This error measure is a modification to the Zienkiewicz and Zhu energy norm. The new error estimator is a global error measure for the analysis and is independent of finite element model size and internal stresses, hence it is readily transportable to other error calculations. It is shown in this paper the the new error estimator also produces conservative error measurements, making it a suitable procedure to adopt in commerical packages.
Investigating local dynamics requires precise control to effectively manage the subtle differences that distinguish it from global dynamics. This paper aims to study the localized perspective of the recently proposed continuum-wise expansive measures [13]. Let f : M → M be a diffeomorphism on a closed smooth manifold M and let p be a hyperbolic periodic point of f. We prove that if the homoclinic class Hf (p) of f associated to p is C1-robustly measure continuum-wise expansive then it is hyperbolic.
Objectives Despite increasing availability of global positioning system (GPS), no research has been conducted to analyze GPS data for exposure opportunities associated with time at indoor and outdoor microenvironments. We developed location-based and time-weighted spatial measures that incorporate indoor and outdoor time-location data collected by GPS. Methods Time-location data were drawn from 38 female subjects in California who wore a GPS device for seven days. Ambient standard deviational ellipse was determined based on outdoor locations and time duration, while indoor time weighted standard deviational ellipse (SDE) was developed to incorporate indoor and outdoor times and locations data into the ellipse measure. Results Our findings indicated that there was considerable difference in the sizes of exposure potential measures when indoor time was taken into consideration, and that they were associated with day type (weekday/weekend) and employment status. Conclusions This study provides evidence that time-location weighted measure may provide better accuracy in assessing exposure opportunities at different microenvironments. The use of GPS likely improves the geographical details and accuracy of time-location data, and further development of such location-time weighted spatial measure is encouraged.

According to the development of industrial equipment such as semiconductor manufacturing machines, optical device, and precision machine tool, a high-precision translation system with wide range has been required. This paper describes a high-precision 2-axis translation system, which consists of microstage and global stage. In order to achieve the highresolution in the long range, some engineering techniques are used. Three linear guides with flexible coupling are adopted to reduce the motor vibration in the global stage. A simple elastic hinge structure activated by five PZT is applied to reduce the angular dev~atlon. As the result of combination of microstage and global stage associated with some engineering techniques, the 2-axis translation system can measure the 200 X 200 mrn range with the nanometer accuracy.

The study provides a quantitative and qualitative description of global research in the domain of quantum machine learning (QML) as a way to understand the status of global research in the subject at the global, national, institutional, and individual author level. The data for the study was sourced from the Scopus database for the period 1999-2020. The study analyzed global research output (1374 publications) and global citations (22434 citations) to measure research productivity and performance on metrics. In addition, the study carried out bibliometric mapping of the literature to visually represent network relationship between key countries, institutions, authors, and significant keyword in QML research. The study finds that the USA and China lead the world ranking in QML research, accounting for 32.46% and 22.56% share respectively in the global output. The top 25 global organizations and authors lead with 35.52% and 16.59% global share respectively. The study also tracks key research areas, key global players, most significant keywords, and most productive source journals. The study observes that QML research is gradually emerging as an interdisciplinary area of research in computer science, but the body of its literature that has appeared so far is very small and insignificant even though 22 years have passed since the appearance of its first publication. Certainly, QML as a research subject at present is at a nascent stage of its development.

This study was a quasi-experimental study with a single group pre-posttest design for evaluating the effects and meanings of a global health training program for nursing students. A mixed data collection method utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods was applied. The qualitative method consisted of reflection journal entry analysis, while the quantitative study evaluated data collected from a self-reported questionnaire. After attending the program, cultural competencies of participants significantly increased than pre-test while global citizenship was not. Through an analysis of reflection journals written during the overseas training period, the meanings of experiences derived after the program were classified into five themes and 12 sub themes, which were, 'improvement of global health leadership', 'experience of barriers in reality', 'improvement of nursing professional value', 'inspiration of a perspective on health equity', and 'internal growth'. The results indicate that global health training program evaluated in this study was meaningful; it provided students with opportunities to experience the nurse's role in diverse global environments and attempted to measure the effects.
