This paper categorized Korean small and medium businesses' global capabilities based on the preceding studies about the global capabilities and then, examined how their global capabilities would affect their competitive advantages and business management performances. As a result of testing the research model, it was found that the small and medium businesses' global capabilities had some significant effects on their competitive advantage (p<.001). On the other hand, the global capabilities had some positive effects on the business management performances and the mediating effects were significant (p>.05), which means that the competitive advantage has some mediating effects on the correlation between the global capabilities and the business management performances. Accordingly it was possible to analyze the correlation between global capabilities of small and medium businesses and their competitive advantage and thereby, provide for an opportunity to shift the paradigm of the global competition strategies.

Marketing information systems become a competitive weapon that supports firms in making decisions on the operation of marketing-related activities. However, little research regarding the operating strategy of marketing information systems has been conducted in Korea. Considering that this issue has been studied in the United States, this paper conducted a global benchmarking on the operating strategy of marketing information systems between Korean and the United States firms. The result of this global benchmarking suggests recommendations on supports from three management levels, the mix of 4P, the management of marketing, data from environment, and information sources.

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라의 수출입 제조 기업을 대상으로 글로벌 아웃소싱의 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 것으로 본 연구에서는 조직 역량, 유연성, 정보 공유, 파트너십을 설정하고 기업의 성과와 인과 관계를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 통해 글로벌 아웃소싱 성과에 영향을 미치는 정도를 파악하여 글로벌 소싱 활성화 방안을 모색하며 향후 글로벌 소싱 확산에 기여하고자 함에 있다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 글로벌 소싱의 개념적 정의와 특징을 분석하였고 글로벌 소싱 국내외 현황을 고찰하였다. 선행연구는 주로 거래비용 이론, 자원기반 이론에 바탕을 둔 기존의 이론 및 실증연구를 토대로 연구모형과 가설을 도출하였고, 연구모형에 적합한 측정문항을 개발하였다. 그리고 이러한 측정문항을 바탕으로 국내 수출입기업을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 실증 분석하였다. 설정된 가설검증에 앞서 글로벌 소싱 구현수준에 대한 기초자료 분석과 각 측정변수들에 대한 신뢰성 분석과 타당성 분석을 SPSS 18.0 통계 패키지 프로그램을 이용하여 수행하였다. 또한 글로벌 소싱 성과관련 4개의 연구가설은 회귀분석 모형을 이용한 것으로 검증하였다.

The management strategies of each company has been changed fundamentally owing to the emergence of digital economics by using internet. Therefore the efficient management of global e-port causes the main issues not only effect the survival and growth of ports but also exert new opportunities and fatal threats on them. Under the circumstances of these change, the Kwangyang port have to introduce e-biz for the purpose of increasing the level of their competition. The focus of this article is to suggest some strategies on the implementation of Kwangyang Global e-port in Korea. To analyse the e-port realities, I first reviewed the trends of e-marketing and e-biz. I chose and analysed website of four ports like Hongkong, Singapore, Antwerp and Hamburg as successful global e-port models. This article is focused to suggest the theoretical background by analysing the strategic points of Kwangyang global e-port which are divided in 6C: Contents, Communities, Connection, Commerce, Communication and Customization. This paper analyses many problems of Gwangyang port and presents various develpment ways to activate Gwangyang port. In order to be a global e-port, first of all Gwangyang port must improve global web-site by 6C. And also Gwangyang port have to constitute logistics hub site, create infrastructure needed to run electronic business more easily over the internet, establish nationwide network of industries, build up marine and port logistics information system.

In this paper, we propose a global ultrasonic system for the self-localization and autonomous navigation of indoor mobile robots. The ultrasonic sensor is regarded as the most cost-effective ranging system among the possible alternatives, and it is widely used for general purpose, since it requires simple electronic drivers and has relatively high accuracy. The global ultrasonic system presented in this paper consists of four or more ultrasonic generators fixed at reference positions in the global coordinates of an indoor environment and two receivers mounted on the mobile robots. By using the RF (Radio Frequency) modules added to the ultrasonic sensors, the robot is able to control the ultrasonic generation and to obtain the critical distances from the reference positions, which are required in order to localize is position in the global coordinates. A kalman filter algorithm designed for the self-localization using the global ultrasonic system and the experimental results of the autonomous navigation are presented in this paper.

세계 정보서비스기관들은 이용자들이 요청한 질문에 답변을 제공하고자 글로벌협력 메커니즘을 이용하여 협력형디지털정보서비스(collaborative digital reference service: CDRS)를 제공하고 있다. 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)은 Question포인트+서비스를 통하여 글로벌협력 메커니즘을 활용한 CDRS를 이용자에게 제공하고 있다. KISTI에서 개발된 글로벌협력 메커니즘은 두 가지 유형이 있다. 하나는 글로벌네트워크를 이용한 것이고 다른 하나는 독일 기관과 직접 협력에 의한 것이 있다. 본 연구는 이용자를 만족시키는 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 현재의 글로벌 메커니즘을 분석하고 CDRS 글로벌협력 메커니즘의 미래 모델을 제시한다.

To realize the global standard of the assembly facility, one of key point is an influence of local characteristic. The global standardized information could be a useful input, especially at the beginning stage of the project. The content should be carefully checked against local requirements, in order to develop an Assembly Facility design to meet local regulations & characteristics. The level of input information required in each step is different depend on regions & countries. At an execution stage of the project, the global standard input needs to be updated as customized final input for the construction. There will be many issues to be clarified and coordinated so that the Assembly facilities meet the final requirements for the production technology. As a result, it is important to understand the timing to use the global standard information and the contents what is needed to adapt to the local characteristics. And close collaboration between production technology team and facility team is always required.

The objective of this paper is to review the mechanics of how global e-trade practices can affect a firm's performance. It is well known that the introduction of global e-trade systems can save transaction costs at the macro level. However this study is extended at micro level by determining whether global trade transaction costs influence positively or negatively in exporting firms performances at firm level. A theoretical framework is suggested for determining the usage and performance of global e-trade with the global e-trade barriers. An empirical analysis of South Korean exporting firms has been undertaken. This paper concludes that the global e-trade has yet to overcome the barriers resulting from the transaction costs and asset specificity. In this regard, appropriate action like intensive education and training program should be implemented in order to make South Korea's global e-trade more matured.

유치원은 학령이 안 된 어린이의 심신 발달을 위한 교육 시설이다. 그러므로 본 연구는 학부모들이 첫 교육을 중요하게 생각하는 만큼 수많은 유치원의 다각적인 정보를 원아 학부모들이 한 눈에 파악 및 비교할 수 있게끔 하기 위해 수행되었다. 본 연구의 목적은 유치원을 선정하려고 하는 학부모들의 불편을 최소화하고 정보를 투명하게 공개하여 선택의 폭을 넓혀 확실한 선택을 할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 이를 달성하기 위해 본 팀은 데이터베이스 시스템을 활용하여 보다 편리한 서비스 및 유용한 정보를 제공하였다.
