In addition, it was attempted to establish a system of transitional care and seek support measures for medicaid case managers. Methods: The participants of this study were 7 medicaid case managers who had spent more than 1 year and 6 months in medicaid pilot project. Data were collected with individual in-depth interviews from June to December 2021. The data were analyzed by Giorgi's phenomenological analysis method. Results: The seven constituents derived from the results of this study were 'struggle to establish a living environment', 'dedication to supporting independent living', 'anxiety about safety', 'pressure on care responsibilities', 'distress in building the pilot project', 'pride in role', and 'expectation for improvement'. Conclusion: The study results provide a comprehensive understanding of the transition care reality for medicaid case managers. They also shed light on managers' perceptions and attitudes. These findings can serve as fundamental information for establishing support measures for medicaid case managers and transitional care systems.

  • The aim of this study is to examine the limits and problems of researchers that appear in the papers of applied qualitative research by phenomenological methods. Using phenomenological methods in the field of Pedagogy, pedagogical phenomenology is not to approach pedagogical issues that are closely related to human life through scientism or positivism, but to explain them in things themselves. The problem, however, is that cases misunderstood and distorted in the essential meaning of phenomenology are happening as domestic researchers are applying pure phenomenology(the philosophical phenomenology) to the field of phenomenology of practice(the pedagogical phenomenology). Especially, these researchers show some errors caused by lack of basic understanding about research logic and research techniques in qualitative research methodology. Thus if a researcher carry out a qualitative study by using phenomenological methods, she or he needs insights in analysing and interpreting the essence of the various phenomena appearing from the participants by comparing in with her or his own lives.

  • According to Jacques Lacan, human desire stems from a primitive lack, This lack acts as a driving force, propelling humans to continually seek pleasure and satisfaction. Given its intricacies, the interplay between the subject's and the overall human desire is intricate, making complete realization of desire unattainable. Through Jacques Lacan's theory of desire, the researcher aims to explore the balance achieved as the subject in the movie navigates ideals, frustrations, and growth. This paper focuses on the analysis of the movie 'Parasite' using Amedeo Giorgi's phenomenological method. By doing so, the researcher seeks to uncover the essence of human desire, offering insights and a theoretical framework for cinematic creation.

  • This study attempts to explore the nature of science anxiety experienced by science-gifted middle school students based on Giorgi's phenomenological research method. Among the first-year middle school students selected by the University-affiliated Science Education Institute for the Gifted, six science-gifted students with high levels of science trait anxiety and science state anxiety experience were selected. Two interviews related to experience of science anxiety were conducted with participants. As a result of the analysis, science anxiety experienced by science-gifted students was caused by setting the ideal self-concept, lack of confidence, past experiences, difficulty in contents, and something valuable. Students complained of physical·physiological, cognitive, emotional·psychological discomfort when they felt science anxiety, and recognized it as an opportunity for growth. In addition, science-gifted students were shown to cope with various ways such as confronting uneasy situations directly or refining their minds to overcome various uncomfortable symptoms that arise when science anxiety is triggered. Some students thought that no special efforts were required to lower their level of anxiety because anxiety was relieved over time. The students had both negative and positive meanings for science anxiety. The results of this study will help teachers in-depth understanding of middle school science-gifted students who experience science anxiety and provide a theoretical basis for what kind of educational environment should be created and educational programs should be provided in relation to science anxiety.

  • This study is a phenomenological study on the dream insight process of intern counselors. The purpose of this study is to promote growth as a professional counselor based on the process of giving meaning to and recognizing their experiences through insight into the unconscious. Therefore, we used dream-integrated art therapy to have a process of recognizing unconscious dreams that clearly express expectations for oneself, others, and the world, and to explore this process more flexibly. The research participants selected three students enrolled in the master's and doctor's courses from among the applicants who applied through public relations and adopted the phenomenological Giorgi research method for data collection and analysis through in-depth interviews with the research participants. The main research results are as First, the intern counselors had a motive for wanting their own unconscious insight through dream-integrated art therapy and were able to gain insight into the problems revealed in their unconscious through dreams, music, and art media. Second, it was found that the intern counselors felt a deepening of concentration and comfort through recent dreams, music, and art media in common. Third, as a defense mechanism that was revealed without the combination of dream integrated art therapy, the avoidance tendency of not wanting to reveal oneself was common, but this showed a gradual decrease. Fourth, it was reported that intern counselors gained flexibility for themselves about the future growth direction had an opportunity to accept themselves, and had a plan for the future direction to become professional counselors. Therefore, it is suggested that follow-up studies using various media, studies to verify the effectiveness of the dream integration program, and various case studies are necessary.
