So this study was attempted to develop token economy Program which Promote children's medication. and to evaluate its' effect to construct the experimental ground. This study was a quasi experimental study under the nonequivalent control group non-synchronized design. The subjects of this study were 48 children who were aged 3-12 years and admitted pediatric ward because of their respiratory disease. Token economy program was consisted of cartoon record paper with stickers which expresses the better medication is taken the more germs die, and gift was given for back up reinforcer. To evaluate this Program. time spent for oral medication was measured six time to both experimental group and control group. and measured the perceived effectiveness of this program by nurses. To determine the effect of the program, the data were analyzed by the SAS 6.12 Program with t-test and mean, standard deviation. The results of this study were as follows: 1 In experimental group, time spent for oral medication was significantly shorter than in control group(t=5.24. p=0.0001). Therefore, the hypothesis of this study was strongly accepted. 2. Nurses perceived this program as an effective one(mean=3.125~3.792). The effectiveness occurred before. during and after medication as well as in parental responses, especially in using verbal dissatisfaction after medication. In conclusion. it was found that the token economy program for admitted children was effective in inducing the children's behavior of oral medication. There was no effectiveness in very highly anxious children Whereas, it is recommended that this program should not be used for such children until they settle down. • Alternative methods were used in the field of infertility as the latest means for the treatment of misconception. Artificial insemination, which has been commonly used already, IVF-ET and GIFT are also used as artificicial method for conception presently. Appling such methods to the patient, following three categories should be considered; first, there should be an understanding and an agreement from the patient, second, if possible, reduce the cost of hospital expense and relieve physical and emotional problems of the patient, and third, increcrsing the pregnancy rate. Under these considerations, complication and pitfalls of artifical inseminations are a big burden to the physian and the patient. Though the conicicental complications are relatively very rare, detailed laboratoy tests, carefull examinations, and follow-up studies are necessary. In the distribution of the age groups, 40.3% was in the 25 to 29 years group, 30 to 34 years was 45%. 35 to 39 years was 8% and only 3.2% was above the 40 age groups. The range of infertile periods were from 1 to 17 years, and half of the patients were over 5 years, the other group 20% in 3 years and 2 to 4 years were 10%. Among 159 cycles of artificial insemination, there were complications such as infection(1.9%) and discomfort(5%) and abnormal bleeding (0.6%). During pregnancy, clinical abortion (1.9%) and toxemia (2.5%) were shown. Sex of new born infants were, male (68%) and female (31%). Fortunately, there were no cases of psychological complication and genetic abnormality. Indications of artificial insemination for male factors were aspermia (2.5%), azoospermia (28.8%), oligospermia (26.4%) and asthenozoospermia (1.8%), for female factors were irregular cycle (11.7%) and dysmucorrhea.

  • This study agrees with the seriousness of the low birth phenomenon in our country and discusses the analysis of the causes of low birth and the establishment of the policy measures for early childhood education and child care in relation to the low birth phenomenon. In particular, the purpose of the policy is to establish a policy plan for up-to-down early childhood education and child care that can be reflected in the policy by members related to early childhood education, breaking away from the existing one for top-down child education and child care. To this end, the research was conducted using Delphi technique and 20 experts in the field of early childhood education and child care were organized into expert panels. In this study, seven policies were proposed for opportunity compliance, eleven policies for service compliance, eight policies for compliance with goods/gift certificates/tax reduction, seven policies for compliance with cash benefits, and five policies for compliance with power. We hope that the bottom-up education and childcare policy measures proposed in this study will provide specific implications and suggestions for resolving the low birth rate.

  • This study investigated consumer perception and purchase behavior regarding Han-gwa (traditional Korean confection) in housewives residing in the Seoul and Gyeonggi area. This study was conducted by self-administered questionnaires. Out of 839 questionnaires, 713 questionnaires (85.0%) were used for statistical analyses including frequency analysis, the Chisquare, and one-way ANOVA. Based on the data collected, independence variables were divided less than 40 years (<40), 40s, 50 years or higher (50) by age. The major findings were as follows; Firstly, 72.1% of the total respondents had the experience of purchasing Han-gwa. Gangjeong was the most popular item among purchased. As the purpose of purchasing, holiday gift and snack was on the highest rank. Hypermarkets / discount stores (48.9%) was the most common place for the place of purchase. Secondly, there was a significant difference in the perception of Han-gwa by age; respondents aged 50 years or older showed more positive perception in Han-gwa in 3 factors among total of 11 factors. Thirdly, for the popularization of Han-gwa, 'too sweet taste (44.2%)' and 'small portion size (22.9%)' were pointed to be improved by respondents. Results of this study indicate that 1) Yu-gwa and Yak-gwa require new product development based on age segmentation, and health and food safety are important variables considered when housewives purchase Han-gwa.

  • A viral marketing has been an effective marketing tool in various fields. In this study, we applied a viral marketing strategy for managing the Internet community website of scientists and engineers, KOSEN(www.kosen21.org). We developed a function that enables members to send promotional e-mails to their acquaintances, and we also designed a reward system for the members who participated in KOSEN viral marketing. With these strategies, KOSEN members reacted positively on the rewards (i.e., mileage points, gift card) and also the loyalty members took part in the viral marketing program more actively than other members. Furthermore, an attractive event was very effective for the prompt reaction of the viral marketing. Managing loyalty members is necessary for the continuous effects. The viral marketing strategies and analysis results of this research could be used for the management of an Internet service.

  • The aim of this paper is to expound upon the concept of mental health and disease in Plato. In ancient Greece, philosophy was to care for the health of the soul and to pursue the happiness of the life, while medicine was to care for the health of the body. It is the role of philosophy that defines what the mental disease is, rather than the realm of medicine, and the practical function of philosophy is the life of caring for our souls. In order to take care of the soul, it is important to diagnose what the mental disease is and where it comes from. In ancient Greek, medicine disease was initially regarded as a divine punishment and healing as, quite literally, a gift from the gods. Plato, however, insists that mental illness is not just brain problem but a human whole problem, (2) it is caused by imbalance and discord, and (3) ignorance is also a mental disease, (4) and furthermore, injustice and vice are mental diseases as well. Therefore Plato argues that the aim of philosophy is to practice a virtue as the mental health and further to achieve political justice to maintain the health of the soul.

  • Few studies of large blooms over 700 mm thick among those used for the forging of raw materials have been reported. The cooling rate difference between the surface and the center of a large bloom is large, and the degradation of the mechanical properties is likely in cases involving excessively coarse precipitates resulted from the slow cooling rate of a large bloom after casting. Therefore, a schematic investigation of the growth behaviors of precipitates while varying their locations in blooms is necessary. The dissolution behaviors of precipitates were investigated by simulating a reheating process during which the bloom is heated to a high temperature. The segregation behavior of the as-cast large bloom was also investigated. Reheating specimens were obtained after an isothermal heat treatment at $1150^{\circ}C$ with various holding times to simulate the reheating process, with the samples undergoing a subsequent water quenching step. The precipitates were extracted using an electrolytic extractor and a particle size analysis was conducted with the aid of SEM, EDS, and TEM. In the present work, Al oxide, MnS and Nb carbide were mainly observed.

  • Game users purchase contents in order to enjoy games, which is the case as for minors. The most frequently used payment method for minors' purchasing game contents is many kinds of gift certificates. Other payment methods include adding the payment to their cellular phone bills and charging it to their parents' credit cards. Although such payment methods are easily used due to convenience, consequent disputes are also continuously increasing. Both users and game service providers suffer damage due to the disputes related to game payments by minors and, in some cases, such problem also becomes a social issue. The purpose of this study is to present data for the standardization of refund policy (system) for payments made by minors by investigating and analyzing the laws and institutions related to game payments by minors and examining relevant dispute cases, in order to prevent and solve such disputes efficiently.
