Objective : This The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise program on physical and physiological functions. Methods : The study is performed with one group pretest-posttest design. A total of 20 subjects are selected by convenience sampling, which are comprised of 11 researchers of a research center, and 9 nurses of a general hospital. The average age of the subjects is 26.3 years old. The Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise program is consisted of 30-minute main exercise and 10-minute finishing exercise. During the first two weeks, the 40 minute program was conducted in a group, 5 times per week. From the third week, it was conducted 3 times per week, twice in a group and once individually by watching video. All of the subjects were examined for the vital signs, blood sugar, body weight, and the flexibility of joint before and after conducting the program. Results : The results of the study are as follows: 1. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the systolic blood pressure increased, and there is no change in the diastolic blood pressure, but all of them are not significant. 2. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the pulse decreased, but not significant. 3. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the blood sugar increased, but not significant. 4. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the body weight reduced significantly. 5. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the flexibility of waist significantly increased. 6. After the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise, the flexibility of arm significantly increased(Left : t=-4.219, p=.000, Right : t=-2.74, p=.013). Conclusion : Based on the results described above, it is considered that the Taeguk Gi Gong Exercise program is clearly effective in decreasing body weight and flexibility of joint.

Suhwa Kim Hwan-gi established his own unique world of art based on Korean-style lyricism with his sophisticated and sublimated formative language as the first generation of Korean abstract artist. He made his name known not only in Korea but New York and Paris, the center of contemporary art. Presently, there is almost no material left for us to examine how Kim Hwan-gi's house looked in the first place. But there is a painting that chef Kim Am-gi possesses where we can find the image of painter Kim Hwan-gi's house drawn by recalling the memories at home in a far-off land. With that, we can see it should be the original looks of that house. To examine the original looks of Kim Hwan-gi's house when it was built, this author studied the closure land registration map. By analyzing 29 land registration maps around Eupdong-ri of Gijwa-myeon in Muan-gun of Jeollanam-do produced in 1917 which National Archives of Korea possesses, this researcher could figure out the status of land registration around Kim Hwan-gi's house with No. 15 and 22 drawing boards. According to the results of considering aerial photographs after the emancipation that National Geographic Information Institute possesses, this author has found that the arrangement of Kim Hwan-gi's house was changed from 1954 up to 2008. In 1954 aerophotos, we can see the main building and studio in Kim Hwan-gi's house and there was an additional structure between them. Kim Hwan-gi's house was built before 1925. The main building presently designated as a cultural asset and also the sarangchae arranged in the east and the studio, too, were built in the similar period.

In this study, we try to solve some issues of Gi(氣) conversion in "Somun(素問) Eumyang-eungsangdaeron(陰陽應象大論)", through comparison of related annotations. Through this analysis we can again review the cognition of movement and changes of Gi(氣), one of the most important aspects in Oriental medicine, so to have a chance to criticize a view of the world in western science, excessively leaned to material viewpoint. In the process of Gi conversion, the creation of Jeong(精), one of the most essential elements, is the last goal, but physical element for example Mi(味, taste) or Hyeong(形, shape) could not be directly converted to Jeong(精) without Gihwa(氣化, vaporization) and circulation of Gi(氣). And who controls conversion to Jeong(精) is human spirit, that joins with Jeonggi(精氣), it has been kept in and come from Jeong(精). That spirit based on Jeong manages the whole process of Gi conversion.

Background and Objective : Keo-Bu-Saeng-Gi(去腐生肌) is the word meaning wound healing process of the skin disease. This study introduces the theory of Keo-Bu-Saeng-Gi that can be used for not only skin disease but also for rejuvenation, beauty care. Methods : We searched oriental literatures and reports related with Keo-Bu-Saeng-Gi(去腐生肌). Result and Conclusions : Many oriental literatures refered to Keo-Bu-Saeng-Gi(去腐生肌) as a wound healing mechanism of the skin disease. Wound healing is very important for skin disease and rejuvenation. We can use this theory of Keo-Bu-Saeng-Gi(去腐生肌) for skin care.

Geographical Indication (GI) has been used with the expectation to influence customer buying behavior. In this research, we empirically investigate if such relationship exists using apple price changes in Korea along with web search traffic reflecting customers' interest in GI. The experimental results indicate that the apple price of the past, apple supply and web search traffic including GI name were significant on the prediction of price change of Chungju while web search traffic of regional name and that of product were significant for Cheongsong apples with GI. In Yeongcheon with no GI, the apple price of the past turns out to be significant only. The results indicated that interests in GI can help the price prediction but the regional name itself can play the same role, if the GI product is well known in association with the region.

There have been some approximation analysis methods for a GI/G/1 queueing system. As one of them, an approximation technique for the steady-state probability in the GI/G/1 queueing system based on the iteration numerical calculation has been proposed. As another one, an approximation formula of the average queue length in the GI/G/1 queueing system by using the diffusion approximation or the heuristics extended diffusion approximation has been developed. In this article, an approximation technique in order to analyze the GI/G/1 queueing system is considered and then the formulae of both the steady-state probability and the average queue length in the GI/G/1 queueing system are proposed. Through some numerical examples by the proposed technique, the existing approximation methods, and the Monte Carlo simulation, the effectiveness of the proposed approximation technique is verified.

Let R be a ring. A right R-module M is called GI-flat if $Tor^R_1(M,G)=0$ for every Gorenstein injective left R-module G. It is shown that GI-flat modules lie strictly between flat modules and copure flat modules. Suppose R is an $n$-FC ring, we prove that a finitely presented right R-module M is GI-flat if and only if M is a cokernel of a Gorenstein flat preenvelope K ${\rightarrow}$ F of a right R-module K with F flat. Then we study GI-flat dimensions of modules and rings. Various results in [6] are developed, some new characterizations of von Neumann regular rings are given.

This study was carried to investigate the usefulness of the radiopaque material as the GI transition and disintegration test of enteric coated capsules radiologically. The obtained results were as follows; 1. The GI transition times that the enteric coated capsules pass through the pylorus were that the time of the first capsule was 210 minutes and the time of the last capsules was more than 300 minutes. Therefore, the GI transition times largely differ from each animal and each enteric coated capsule. 2. The disintegration times of enteric coated capsules were similar in vitro test and in vivo test. 3. The GI transition and disintegration test of enteric coated capsules using barium sulfate, radiopaque material for the gastrointestinal track, was useful to investigate the times that the capsules passed through the pylorus and disintegrated in intestinal track.

In the "Somun(素問) Youngranbijeonron(靈蘭秘典論)", that describes the lung as "the office of assisting Heart, the administration come out Lung(相傅之官, 治節出焉)". The means of "the office of assisting Heart" is that Lung assist Heart and execute the Heart's order. The administration come out Lung has two means. The first, Lung administrates and controls the body. The second, Lung controls the Gi and blood(氣血). In the "Somun(素問) Gyeongmaekboulron(經脈別論)", that describes the creation of pectrol Gi(宗氣). The Essence derived from food(穀氣) digested in Stomach comes to Heart, and mixed Lung's Gi of respiration(呼吸之氣), than becomes a pectrol Gi(宗氣). The pectrol Gi(宗氣) controls the Gi and blood(氣血), and we can say that function is the administration come out Lung.

Objectives : Riding stance has been basic traning of chinese martial arts and Gi-gong. The aim of this study is to observe history, methods, effect of riding stance. Methods : Compare riding stances of each family of martial arts and Gi-gong. Result : 1. Since Wang, the father of Daesung-Gwon had created Chamjang-gong, riding stance becomes a independent foam of Gi-gong 2. The essential method of riding stance is Relaxing the upper body, straightening the spine and putting stress on inner side of the legs. 3. Putting stress on inner legs help relaxing upper body. 4. Riding stance is very similar to horse-back riding. 5. Relaxation must be done for effective riding stance training. Conclusions : Riding stance is necessary for stressful modern people.
