충남 아산의 청동기 시대 주거지 밀집 구역의 지형환경 분석 - 용두천과 온양천 유역을 사례로 - (Analysis of the Geomorphological Environments of High-Density Residential Zone in Bronze Age around Asan City, Central Korea - A Case Study of Yongdoocheon and Onyangcheon Basin -)

  • 충남 아산과 온양 근교의 용두천과 온양천 유역 그리고 천안 백석동에서는 청동기 시대 주거지가 다수 발견되었다. 백석동에는 약 $1.3km^2$에 207기의 주거지가 집중해 있고 용두천과 온양천 유역에는 $49.2km^2$에 177기의 주거지가 산발적으로 분포해 있다. 이 지역들의 청동기 시대 주거지는 대부분 구릉지에 입지해 있으며, 구릉지의 지형환경은 일부 지질적 차이를 제외하고는 매우 유사하다. 본 연구에서는 충남 용두천과 온양천 유역의 청동기 시대 주거지 밀집 구역의 지형환경을 분석하고 그 결과를 백석동 연구 결과와 비교하였다. 연구 결과 이 지역들의 주거지 밀집구역은 정부평탄면과 정부사면, 상부곡벽사면의 사면 미지형과 남동 사면으로 이루어져 있다. 사면경사는 완경사지가 많이 나타나지만 사면 미지형과 사면방향에 비해 특정 경사면에 편중되는 경향이 적어 주거지 밀집 구역의 특징적인 지형환경으로 규정하기에는 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서 도출한 지형환경 특징은 일부 사례 지역에 국한된 것이 아니고 충청남도 일대의 구릉지에 입지했던 청동기 시대 주거지들의 밀집에 주요한 요인이었을 가능성을 보여주고 있다.

소형 농업 저수지인 금풍저수지에서 침수식물의 분포, 식생구조 및 생물량 (Distribution, Vegetation Structure and Biomass of Submerged Macrophytes in a Small Agricultural Reservoir, Keumpoong Reservoir, Korea)

  • 하천 상류에 위치한 농업용 소형 저수지인 금풍지에서 침수식물의 분포와 수도의 공간적 시간적 변이를 파악하기 위하여, 양날갈퀴법과 음파탐지법을 이용하여 침수식물의 분포, 풍부도 및 생물량을 측정하였다. 침수식물의 출현종수와 식생구조는 연안대의 지형 경사도와 수심에 영향을 받았다. 침수식물 식물상의 종풍부도는 완만한 연안대에서 높았다. DCA (detrended correspondence analysis)에 의한 식생분석 결과에 의하면 침수식물의 식생구조는 수심에 의하여 영향을 받았다. 금풍저수지에서 침수식물은 최대 수심 2.8 m까지 분포하였다. 침수식물 분포지는 수변부 경사가 급하고 연간 수위변동폭이 3.5 m에 달하여 총수면적의 6%에 불과하였다. 침수식물의 생물량은 수위변동과 홍수기 탁수 유입으로 인하여 제한되었다. 결론적으로 하천 상류에 조성된 농업용 저수지인 금풍지에서 침수식물의 식생구조는 수심과 연안대 경사에 의하여 영향을 받았고, 연안대 경사가 급하고 연수위변동이 커서 침수식물의 분포와 생물량이 제한되었다.

심해예인 고해상도 수심 자료와 후방산란 강도 자료를 이용한 인도양 중앙해령 내 Ocean Core Complex 구조의 지형적 특성 분석 (Morphological Characteristics of Ocean Core Complexes (OCC) in Central Indian Ridge Using High-Resolution Bathymetry and Backscatter Intensity Data from a Deep-Towed Vehicle)

  • We analyzed the morphological characteristics of OCC (Ocean Core Complexes) in the middle part of the Central Indian Ridge (MCIR) using high-resolution geophysical data recorded on the Deep-Tow SideScan Sonar IMI-30 system. In terms of slope-gradient variations calculated from the high-resolution bathymetry data, the normal faults formed by seafloor spreading were associated generally with slopes > 30° and resulted in high backscatter intensities, which reflect more topographic effects than acoustic medium variation. However, the areas associated with gentle slopes < 10° tend to show the backscatter intensities reflecting the acoustic characteristic of the medium. We show that the detachment faults exposing the OCCs were initiated with high-angle normal faults (58°) exhibiting outward and inward dips of a breakaway zone. In order to examine the spatial distribution of OCC structures, we characterized the transition from magmatic-dominant seafloor with abyssal hills to tectonic-dominant seafloor with OCC using the down-slope direction variation. The slope direction of the seafloor generally tends to be perpendicular to the ridge azimuth in the magmatic-dominant zone, whereas it becomes parallel to the given ridge azimuth near the OCC structures. Therefore, this spatial change of seafloor slope directions indicates that the formation of OCC structures is causally associated with the tectonic-dominant spreading rather than magmatic extension. These results also suggest that the topographical characteristics of seafloor spreading and OCC structures can be distinguished using high-resolution geophysical data. Thus, we propose that the high-resolution bathymetry and backscatter intensity data can help select potential areas of exploitation of hydrothermal deposits in MCIR effectively.

태백산맥 남부산지의 암설사면지형 (The Study on the Debris Slope Landform in the Southern Taebaek Mountains)

  • 본 연구는 암설사면지형이 잘 발달하고 다양하게 분포하는 태백산맥의 남부산지를 대상으로 항공 사진판독과 도상계측 및 현지조사를 통하여 노출암설사면의 분포, 형태 및 퇴적물의 특성을 분석하고 사면의 지형적 배열과 지형발달에 관해서 연구한 논문으로써 분포적 특성에 있어서는 애추의 경우 기반암이 경암이거나 절리가 잘 발달된 지질에서, 암괴류의 경우는 화강섬록암 지질에서 높은 분포밀도를 보였다. 형태적 특성은 애추, 암괴류 모두 설상이 각각 83${\%}$, 80${\%}로 가장 많았으며 지형면의 경사도에 있어서는 애추가, 길이에 있어서는 암괴류가 각각 우세했다. 퇴적물의 특성중 암설의 평균입경은 암괴류가 보다 크게 나타났다. 한 지형면에서 암설의 장축방향성의 경우 방향성 있는 경우와 없는 경우가 있는데, 후자는 지형면상의 함몰로 그 방향성이 상실된 것으로 보인다. 끝으로 지형발달의 경우, 애추는 암석낙하(rock fall)에 의한 형성기(최종빙기)와 2차적인 영역에 의한 조정기(후빙기)로 암괴류는 암괴의 생성기(제3가 또는 제 4기의 간빙기), 암괴류의 형성기(최종빙기), 조정기(후빙기)로 구분할 수 있었다. 그리고 산지 사면의 배열유형은 6가지 유형으로 분류되었다.

영동분지(백악기) 북부 지역에 대한 지표물리탐사 (Surface geophysical surveys the northern part of the Yongdong basin (Cretaceous), Korea)

  • 영동분지 북부지역 내의 퇴적층서에 외곽으로 접하고 있는 단층면 또는 부정합면의 구조 및 이에 대한 물성정보를 고찰하기 위해 전기비저항 쌍극자탐사와 탄성파굴절법 및 반사법탐사를 실시하였다. 전기비저항탐사는 퇴적분지와 기반암의 전기비저항 대비, 탄성파굴절법으로 속도구조, 탄성파반사법으로 천부구조의 경계 및 그 연장성 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 전기비저항탐사결과 분지경계는 약 2000 ohm-m를 기준으로 구분되고 있으며 분지 동쪽 및 서쪽 경계는 각각 급경사($70^{\circ}$이상) 및 완경사($30^{\circ}$이하)로 특징되는 단층경계과 부정함경계의 특성을 보이는 것으로 해석된다. 또한 이러한 특성은 북서 경계의 탄성파속도와 전기비저항 값이 북동 경계에 비해 작게 나타나고 있는 점으로 뒷받침될 수 있다.

  • Most tunnel lining material which has been used in the domestic is a concrete. But many problems as the construction period, the cost, and the crack occurrence for the design, construction, and management were happened in the concrete lining. For this reason, many research institutes like the Korea Highway Corporation recognize the necessity of an alternate material development and grow on the interest for that. So in this study, the seismic behaviour characteristics for the application of the Corrugated Steel Plate Lining in cut-and-cover tunnel are evaluated as several conditions for the backfill height, the cutting slope, and the relative density of backfill soil are changed. The compressive stress which is calculated in the Corrugated Steel Plate Lining by the seismic load is decreased as the backfill height increases and the cut slope grows gentle. Also, the moment shows the tendency of decrease according to the increase of the backfill height. But in the case of the relative density of the backfill soil is small, the moment increases according to the increase of the backfill height and affects the dynamic behaviour characteristic. So it is considered that the relative density of the backfill soil is also the important point. As the result in analyzing the seismic response characteristics of the reinforcement spacing of the Corrugated Steel Plate, the variation in the compressive force is hardly happened, but the moment and the shear force increase on the reinforcement spacing being narrow.

산사태 붕괴사면에 있어서 표면침식에 영향을 미치는 강우강도와 그에 따른 유출토사량의 변화 (Rainfall Intensity Regulating Surface Erosion and Its Contribution to Sediment Yield on the Hillslope Devastated by a Shallow Landslide)

  • To examine surface erosion and sediment export patterns on a hillslope, which was devastated by a shallow landslide and which was slowly revegetating by natural plant species, we surveyed variations in surface erosion depth on the upper-, middle- and lower-section of the hillslope, and subsequent sediment yield from the whole hillslope. The result showed that, with the passing of year, surface erosion on the devastated hillslope was regulated by higher rainfall intensity due to the supply-limitation of exportable sediment, and its variation range decreased. In addition, surface erosion on the upper-section with steep slope was regulated by higher rainfall intensity, which might result in raindrop erosion, compared to it on the lower-section with relatively gentle slope. Besides, the sediment yield from the devastated hillslope had nonlinear relationship with surface erosion depth on the hillslope because sediments on the hillslope are exported downwards while repeating their cycle of transport and redistribution. Our findings suggest the establishment of management strategy to prevent sediment-related disasters occurred during torrential rainfall events, which was based on the continuous field investigation on the hillslope devastated by landslides.

토출 및 흡입 Needle을 이용한 유기 박막 패터닝 공정 (A Patterning Process for Organic Thin Films Using Discharge and Suction Needles)

  • Unlike a printing process, it is difficult to pattern organic thin films in the longitudinal (coating) direction using a coating process. In this paper, we have investigated the feasibility of patterning organic thin films using needles. To this end, we have slot-coated an aqueous poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) solution in the form of a fine stripe or large area and then applied the dual needle; one for discharging the main solvent of the underlying thin film and the other for sucking the dissolved thin film. We have found that the pattern width and depth increase as the moving speed of the plate decreases. However, it is observed that the sidewall slope is very gentle (the length of the slope is of the order of 200 ㎛) due to the fact that the discharged main solvent is widely spread and then isotropic etching occurs. With this scheme, we have also demonstrated that a fine stripe can be obtained by scanning the dual needle closely. To demonstrate its applicability to solution-processable organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), we have also fabricated OLED with the patterned PEDOT:PSS stripe and observed the insulation property in the strong light-emitting stripe.

시화호 표층퇴적물의 중금속 및 퇴적상 변화 (Change of Heavy Metals and Sediment Facies in Surface Sediments of the Shihwa Lake)

  • In order to determine the changes of sediment facies and metal levels in surface sediments after the construction of Shiwha Lake, surface sediments were sampled at 8 sites located on the main channel monthly from June, 1995 to August, 1996 and analysed for 12 metals (Al, Fe, Mn, V, Cr, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Cd, As and Pb) by ICP/AES and ICP/MS. Two groups of sampling sites(the inner lake with 3 sites and the outer lake with 5 sites) are subdivided by the surface morphology ; the inner lake is a shallow channel area with a gentle slope, while the outer lake is relatively deep and wide channel with a steep slope which has many small distributaries. After the construction of dam, fine terrestrial materials were deposited near the outer lake, which resulted in the change of major sediment facies from sandy silt to mud. With the deposition of fine sediments in the outer lake, anoxic water column induced the formation of sulfide compounds with Cu, Cd, Zn and part of Pb. Metal (Cr, Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd) contents in sediments increased up to twice within 2 years after the construction of dam. This is due to the direct input of industrial and municipal wastes into the lake and the accumulation of metals within the lake. In addition, frequent resuspension of contaminated sediments in a shallow part of the lake may make metal-enriched materials transport near the outer lake with fine terrestrial materials. As the enrichment of Cu, Zn, Cd and part of Pb in the Shiwha Lake may be related to the formation of unstable sulfide compounds by sulfate reduction in anoxic water or sediment column, the effect of mixing with open coastal seawater is discussed.

극미세 3차원 형상제작의 효율성 향상을 위한 영역분할 단면법에 관한 연구 (Sub-regional Slicing Method (SSM) to Fabricate 3D Microstructure Effectively in Nano-Stereolithography Process)

  • A subregional slicing method (SSM) is proposed to increase the nanofabrication efficiency of a nano-stereolithography (NSL) process based on two-photon polymerization (TPP). The NSL process can be used to fabricate 3D microstructures via the accumulation of layers of uniform thickness; hence, the precision of the final 3D microstructure depends on the layer thickness. The use of a uniform layer thickness means that, to fabricate a precise microstructure, a large number of thin slices is inevitably required. leading to long processing times. In the SSM proposed here, however, the 3D microstructure is divided into several subregions on the basis of the geometric slope, and then each of these subregions is uniformly sliced with a layer thickness determined by the geometric slope characteristics of each subregion. Subregions with gentle slopes are sliced with thin layer thicknesses, whereas subregions with steep slopes are sliced with thick layer thicknesses. Here, we describe the procedure of the SSM based on TPP, and discuss the fabrication efficiency of the method through the fabrication of a 3D microstructure.
