가금을 이용한 동물 바이오모델: 총설 (Application of Animal Biomodel using Poultry: A Review)

  • Chicken not only serves as a high-protein source to humans, but it is also used as a suitable biomodel for increasing livestock productivity and studying human diseases. Chickens have numerous advantages as model organisms mainly because of they are relatively convenient to manage due to their small body size and short generational interval. In addition, they have a small genome size and numerous genes have biologically similar functions to those of human and livestock animals. In this review, we investigated the chicken biomodel for human disease research and the use of this model for increasing livestock productivity. This summary could provide useful and basic information for further development of strategies for enhancing livestock production and human disease studies.

  • This investigation primarily focuses on the generational characteristics of satellites utilized in the existing Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Regional Navigation Satellite System (RNSS), with a central emphasis on comparing the operational status of the latest generation satellites. Variations among satellite generations in physical attributes, energy consumption, and timekeeping are observed, enabling an exploration of the developmental trends over successive generations. Through a comparative analysis of the latest generation satellites, particularly in terms of performance, this study aims to furnish essential insights into the satellites employed within each system. Consequently, it will contribute to a foundational understanding of the past, present, and future GNSS satellites.

  • It is well established that there is a heritable element of susceptibility to chronic human ailments, yet there is compelling evidence that some components of such heritability are transmitted through non-genetic factors. Due to the complexity of reproductive processes, identifying the inheritance patterns of these factors is not easy. But little doubt exists that besides the genomic backbone, a range of epigenetic cues affect our genetic programme. The inter-generational transmission of epigenetic marks is believed to operate via four principal means that dramatically differ in their information content: DNA methylation, histone modifications, microRNAs and nucleosome positioning. These epigenetic signatures influence the cellular machinery through positive and negative feedback mechanisms either alone or interactively. Understanding how these mechanisms work to activate or deactivate parts of our genetic programme not only on a day-to-day basis but also over generations is an important area of reproductive health research.

Y세대 조리사의 근로생활의 질(QWL), 심리적 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 관한 연구 (A Research about Quality of Work-Life, Affective Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention of Y Generational Chef)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 Y세대 조리사를 대상으로 근로생활의 질, 심리적 조직몰입 및 이직의도의 인과적 영향 관계를 규명하는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 국내 호텔, 개인외식업체 및 프랜차이즈 외식업체에 근무하는 조리사 207명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 획득된 자료를 분석하기 위해서는 SPSS 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 회귀분석 및 PROCESS Macro 분석을 실행하였다. 분석 결과, 본 연구에서 근로생활의 질은 개인적 품질과 사회적 품질의 2개 요인으로 구성되었다. 근로생활의 질을 구성하는 1개의 요인은 모두 심리적 조직몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 근로생활의 질과 이직의도의 관계에서는 개인적 품질만이 이직의도를 저하시키는 것에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 사회적 품질과 이직의도의 관계는 유의하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 심리적 조직몰입은 이직 의도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 심리적 조직몰입은 근로생활의 질(개인적 품질, 사회적 품질)과 이직의도의 관계에서 매개 작용이 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과에 따른 시사점이 연구의 결론부분에 논의되었다.

Ethical Considerations in the Healthcare Field: A Focus on Global Health

  • Purpose: This paper aimed to examine the ethical considerations that are the basis for many functions in the healthcare field. The key ethical values in global health, as well as future considerations imperative to this area, were observed. Research design, data and methodology: The current study utilized the past literature studies that were examined in the field of global health. An overview of the role of ethics in the healthcare field, as well as important considerations that needed to be taken into account in order to provide advancements in this area, were investigated. Results: Ethics are an important set of principles that guides humankind into the right conduct or action to better society and each other. Ethical values are one of the pinnacle points for any healthcare provider, as healthcare is not only considered from the aspect of patient health and well-being, but also in its role of keeping ethical guidelines to achieve the best possible care for a patient. Conclusions: A comprehensive understanding of healthcare is needed in order to tackle next generational challenges in global health. These ethical considerations will inevitably play a significant role in harnessing the patient-healthcare professional relationships as well as care for the shortening of a global disparity on healthcare.

Generation YZ's E-Healthcare Use Factors Distribution in COVID-19's Third Year: A UTAUT Modeling

  • Purpose: With the number of COVID-19 cases declining and generational differences among how people use mobile apps, including health service apps, the goal of this research is to identify and analyze the factors that affect people's attitudes when using the Halodoc health service app during the third year of the pandemic. Research design, data, and methodology: This study proposes a quantitative analysis method based on PLS-SEM modeling. This study has used a questionnaire survey to collect randomized data from 268 Halodoc users from generations Y and Z in Jakarta. Results: Both the Y and Z generations believe there is a significant usefulness factor in the attitude toward using the application. The start of the pandemic period demonstrates that the urgency of using health service applications is no longer determined by performance expectations, effort, or social panic, but rather by these applications' usability. Conclusions: Even though a health service application is no longer considered an urgent service or a priority need, attitudes, and behaviors in using it emphasize the aspect of long-term benefits. These findings supplement other considerations and understandings in application of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model in explaining attitudes and intention behaviors.

Y세대의 특성과 고객지향성의 관계 연구 - 직무만족의 매개효과 검증을 포함함 - (A Study on the Relationship between Y Generational Characteristics and Customer Orientation - Including Testing Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction -)

  • 본 연구는 국내 호텔산업에 종사하는 Y세대인 서비스담당 직원을 대상으로 상사 지원, 재미, 직무만족 및 고객지향성의 인과적 관계를 규명하고자 설계되었다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 1981년에서 2000년 사이에 출생하여 Y세대라 불리는 직원만을 조사 대상으로 한정하였다. 확보된 실증자료 분석을 위해 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 상관관계분석, 회귀분석 및 PROCESS Macro 분석이 실시되었으며, 이를 위한 분석 프로그램은 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0이 적용되었다. 분석 결과, 재미는 직무만족과 고객지향성 모두에게 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 변수로 확인되었다. 그러나 상사 지원은 직무만족에는 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었으나, 고객지향성에는 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무만족은 고객지향성에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 직무만족은 상사 지원과 고객지향성의 관계 그리고 재미와 고객지향성의 관계에서 모두 매개 작용이 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구를 통해 직장 내 재미와 직무에 대한 만족감이 높을수록 직원의 고객지향성 행동이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한 상사의 지원은 직무만족을 통해 직원의 고객지향성 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인임을 알 수 있다.

교대근무하는 40세 이상 경력간호사의 근무경험 (Experiences of Clinical Nurses Aged over 40 as Shift Workers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of clinical nurses over 40 years of age who were shift workers. Methods: Data were collected from in-depth interviews with 10 clinical nurses over 40 years of age who had at least 10 years of clinical experience and who worked in 5 acute care hospitals. The data were analyzed using Braun & Clark's thematic analysis. Results: One main theme, 3 themes, and 9 subthemes were derived. The main theme was "Sustaining a position still in conflict", and themes were as follows; "Being trained as a professional nurse", "Having unfavorable working conditions and damaged self-esteem", "Trying hard to get a sense of value as an experienced nurse" Conclusion: The results of this study show the issues of age and generational diversities in nurses in acute care hospitals. It is necessary to explore various ways to utilize the experience of older clinical nurses for the integrity of nursing organization and the development of the nursing profession.

The Effect of Three Different Generation Types on Prosocial Consumption Behavior

  • Purpose - This study aims to examine differences in donation behavior as surrogates of prosocial consumption behavior among three generation types. Further, it attempts to examine the moderator roles that affect donation behavior influenced by the difference in generations. Research design, data, and methodology - This study used the statistical ANOVA technique to examine generational difference. Surveys were structured differently by ages, as 20th, 30th, 40th, 50th, 60th, and 70th to classify generations into each group. A survey to measure the psychological distance was performed to identify whether the respondents intended to donate to a domestic or overseas target. Results - First, subjective judgment of psychological distance has no effect on objective donation behavior. Second, though the result of the relationship with moral identity is not statistically significant, it provides evidence that a higher moral identity level possesses more donation behavior. Further, groups with higher symbolization tend to donate more than the others. This was especially evident among the young and baby boomer generation. Conclusion - This empirical study suggests that marketers need to differentiate the market segment of the baby-boomer generation with high purchasing power of prosocial consumption.

The Reaction of Vietnam's Generation Z to Online TV Advertising

  • The paper examines the reaction of the Z-Vietnam generation to online TV advertising (TVC), which elements of online TV advertising has a positive influence, which factors do not affect or negatively affect their consumption decisions for the advertised goods. Data for the study was collected from 300 Vietnam's Generation Z in Ho Chi Minh City through live interviews or questionnaires through Google Docs Forms, with over 30 questions. The six basic factors that influence the reactions of Generation Z consumers are information, entertainment, irritation, credibility, interaction, and advertising value. The research results show that, due to the influence of social media and generational characteristics, most consumers of the Generation Z in Vietnam have a favorable attitude towards online TV advertising, and they appreciate this form of advertising. Information element, irritation, credibility and entertainment have a strong and positive impact on TVC. The other two factors are advertising value and interaction, which does not significantly affect the reaction of this generation. This study needs to be checked and reviewed by subsequent studies on a larger scale and in a wider scope because the study only conducted random sampling on a small scale, did not meet the requirements for representation and generality.
