In this paper, we propose a method for generating improved saliency map by learning multiple features to improve the accuracy and reliability of saliency map which has similar result to human visual perception type. In order to overcome the inaccurate result of reverse selection or partial loss in color based salient area estimation in existing salience map generation, the proposed method generates multi feature data based on learning. The features to be considered in the image are analyzed through the process of distinguishing the color pattern and the region having the specificity in the original image, and the learning data is composed by the combination of the similar protrusion area definition and the specificity area using the LAB color space based color analysis. After combining the training data with the extrinsic information obtained from low level features such as frequency, color, and focus information, we reconstructed the final saliency map to minimize the inaccurate saliency area. For the experiment, we compared the ground truth image with the experimental results and obtained the precision-recall value.

Recently, there are rapid development of information and communication and rapid growth of e-business users. Therefore we try to solve security problem on the internet environment which charges from wire internet to wireless internet or wire/wireless internet. Since the wireless mobile environment is limited, researches such as small size, end-to-end and privacy security are performed by many people. Wireless e-business adopts credit card WPP protocol and AIP protocol proposed by ASPeCT. WAP, one of the protocol used by WPP has weakness of leaking out information from WG which conned wire and wireless communication. certification chain based AIP protocol requires a lot of computation time and user IDs are known to others. We propose a Micro-Payment protocol based on credit card. Our protocol use the encryption techniques of the public key with ID to ensure the secret of transaction in the step of session key generation. IDs are generated using ECC based Weil Paring. We also use the certification with hidden electronic sign to transmit the payment result. The proposed protocol solves the privacy protection and Non-repudiation p개blem. We solve not only the safety and efficiency problem but also independent of specific wireless platform. The protocol requires the certification organization attent the certification process of payment. Therefore, other domain provide also receive an efficient and safe service.
There is a lack of user centered design methods that support effective collaboration between designers and end-users for designing hardware and software integrated digital products. This paper presents the application of Collaborative Design and a new collaborative design prototyping tool for interactive digital product design projects. The tool consists of STCtools(State Transition Chart tools) software, hardware modeling materials, and physical interface toolkits for integrating software and hardware. STCtools allow users to create and edit States, to compose Events describing transitions between States, and to run intermediate or final results of STC. Using the hardware modeling materials and the physical interface toolkit, designers and end-users can collaborately examine the hardware and software integrated concepts in an early stage of the design process. Three collaborative design workshops of designing a portable digital guide for a theme park were accomplished to examine the feasibility of the tool. The results suggested that the tool supported iterative concept development and interactions between designers and end users. Although several user interface problems of STCtools were identified, the participants gave positive feedback on the role of the tool in collaborative concept generation and deployment. It is expected that the results of this study contribute not only to the collaboration between designers and end users, but also to the collaboration between designers, and between designers and other professionals.

Large scale superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system requires very high magnetic energy density in its superconducting coils to enhance the energy capacity and efficiency of the system. The recent high temperature superconducting (HTS) conductors, so called 2G conductors, show very good performance under very high magnetic field so that they seem to be perfect materials for the large scale SMES coils. A general shape of the coil system with the 2G HTS conductor has been a tor oid, because the magnetic field applied perpendicularly to the surface of the 2G HTS conductor could be minimized in this shape of coil. However, a toroid coil requires a 3-dimensional computation to acquire the characteristics of its critical current density - magnetic field relations which needs very complicated numerical calculation, very high computer specification, and long calculation time. In this paper, we suggested an analytic and statistical calculation method to acquire the maximum magnetic flux density applied perpendicularly to the surface of the 2G HTS conductor and the stored energy in the toroid coil system. Although the result with this method includes some errors but we could reduce these errors within 5 percent to get a reasonable estimation of the important parameters for design process of the HTS toroid coil system. As a result, the calculation time by the suggested method could be reduced to 0.1 percent of that by the 3-dimensional numerical calculation.

The electrical characteristics of RRAM with different annealing temperature and thickness have been measured and discussed. The devices with Pt/Ti top electrode of 150nm, Pt bottom electrode of 150nm, $HfO_2$ oxide thickness of 45nm and 70nm have been fabricated. The fabricated device were classified by 3 different kinds according to the annealing temperature, such as non-annealed, annealed at $500^{\circ}C$ and annealed at $850^{\circ}C$. The set and reset voltages and the variation of resistance with temperatures have been measured as electrical properties. From the measurement, it was found that the set voltages were decreased and the reset voltage were increased slightly, and thus the sensing window was decreased with increasing of measurement temperatures. It was remarkable that the device annealed at $850^{\circ}C$ showed the best performances. Although the device with thickness of 45nm showed better performances in the point of the sensing window, the resistance of 45nm devices was large relatively in the low resistive state. It can be expected to enhance the device performances with ultra thin RRAM if the defect generation could be reduced at the $HfO_2$ deposition process.

To produce plastic parts that have fine pattern through conventional injection molding, a lot of difficulties follow. Therefore, rapid heating and cooling methods are good candidates for manufacturing injection-molded parts with micro/nano patterns. In this study, we adopted the E-Mold patent technology. The mold for E-Mold technology has a separate heated core with micro heaters. It is very important to optimize the lay-out of the heaters in heated core because it influences both control and distribution of mold temperature. We developed a optimization method of heating line lay-out by using commercial softwares and compared the output with the experimental results. We used Pro-Engineer Wildfire 2.0 for the mold design, ICEMCFD for mesh generation, and FLUENT for heat transfer simulation. The simulation results showed the temperature profile from $60^{\circ}C$ to $120^{\circ}C$ or $180^{\circ}C$ during heating and cooling process which were compared with the injection molding experiments. We concluded that the simulation could well explain the experimental results. It was shown that the E-Mold optimization design for heater lay-out could be available through the simulation.
Recently, It has focused on decision tree algorithm that can handle large dataset. However, because most of these algorithms for large datasets process data in a batch mode, if new data is added, they have to rebuild the tree from scratch. h more efficient approach to reducing the cost problem of rebuilding is an approach that builds a tree incrementally. Representative algorithms for incremental tree construction methods are BOAT and ITI and most of these algorithms use a local discretization method to handle the numeric data type. However, because a discretization requires sorted numeric data in situation of processing large data sets, a global discretization method that sorts all data only once is more suitable than a local discretization method that sorts in every node. This paper proposes an incremental tree construction method that efficiently rebuilds a tree using a global discretization method to handle the numeric data type. When new data is added, new categories influenced by the data should be recreated, and then the tree structure should be changed in accordance with category changes. This paper proposes a method that extracts sample points and performs discretiration from these sample points to recreate categories efficiently and uses confidence intervals and a tree restructuring method to adjust tree structure to category changes. In this study, an experiment using people database was made to compare the proposed method with the existing one that uses a local discretization.

This paper is to analyse a changing space of energy flows in Northeast Asia from geopolitical and geoeconomic perspectives that have been recently promoted for energy security of countries in this region. The research is based on an analytical framework in an integration of political ecology and political economy. Because of an ever-increasing input of energy resources for economic growth and of dramatically increasing price of crude oil and recent instability of oil market, South Korea, China and Japan have been deeply concerned with energy security and conducted very actively geopolitical strategies. And hence the space of energy flows in the region is now in a process of dynamic reconfiguration, in which the project for development of oil and natural gas fields in East Siberia and construction of pipelines to transport them can be seen as one of competitive issues among these countries. In spite of worrying about stagflation due to rapid increase of oil price, such geo-strategies for energy security and reconfiguration of space of energy flows seem to keep the accumulation of capital in this region continue with generation of huge privatized oil companies.
Sperrnatogenesis, the process by which the male germ-line stem cells(GSCs; type A spermatogonia) divide and differentiate to produce the mature spermatozoa, occurs in the seminiferous tubules of the testis. The GSCs proliferate actively to produce two types of cells: other GSCs and differentiating spermatogonia. GSCs have unipotentcy, devoted solely to the generation of sperm. The function of GSCs has broad implications for development, disease, and evolution. Spermatogenesis is fundamental for propagation of species and the defects of this system can result in infertility or disease. The ability to identify, isolate, culture, and alter GSCs will allow powerful new approaches in animal transgenesis and human gene therapy relating to infertility. Until recently, research on stem cells in the testis has been limited because of technical difficulties in isolating and identifying these cell populations. Here, we were trying to find out optimal conditions for in vitro culture of GSCs for identifying and isolating GSCs. We collected mouse GSCs from 3-days old mouse by two-step enzyme digestion method. GSCs were plated and grown on mouse embryonic fibroblasts in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) containing 15% fatal bovine serum, 10 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, 1% non-essential amino acids, 1 ng/$m\ell$ bFGF, 10 $\mu$M forskolin, 1500 U/$m\ell$ human recombinant leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF). Over a period 3∼5 days, GSCs gave rise to large multicellular colonies resembling those of mouse pluripotent stem cells. After 5th passages, cells within the colonies continued to be alkaline phosphatase and Oct-4 positive and tested positive against a panel of two immunological markers(Integrin $\alpha$ 6 and Integrin $\beta$ 1) that have been recognized generally to characterize GSCs. SSEA-1, SSEA-3, and SSEA-4 also showed positive signals. Based on our data, these GSCs-derived cultures meet the criteria for GSCs itself and even other pluripotent stem cells. We reported here the establishment of in vitro cultures from mouse male GSCs.
