  • 본 논문은 실수 진화 알고리즘에 대해서 가상의 클러스터를 이용한 재조합 연산자 및 새로운 세대차 모델을 소개한다. 가상 클러스터의 자가 적응적인 크기 변화를 통해 자손의 생성범위를 적절히 조절하고, 선택과 대치를 포함한 진화방식을 개선하여 효율적인 세대차 크기를 구함으로서, 개체의 다양성 유지 및 탐색성능의 향상을 꾀하였다. 제안된 방법을 벤치마크 테스트 문제에 적용하여 G3 알고리즘과 CMA-ES 등과 성능을 비교하였다.

  • Characteristics of Discharge and nonthermal plasma generation in a micro-air gap spacing between a micro-dielectric barrier and a electrode have been investigated experimentally to chert the potential to be used as a micro-scale nonthermal plasma generator. It is found that the output ozone concentration, as a nonthermal plasma intensity parameter, of the micro-air gnp nonthermal plasma generator depended greatly upon the air gap spacing and thickness of the dielectric barrier. As a result, there is a optimal air gap sparing in the same micro dielectric barrier to generate ozone effectively. And the higher ozone concentration was generated from the thinner micro-barrier.

  • In this paper, a co-axial type ozonizer varied with discharge gap was designed and manufactured for investigating $\circled1$ discharge characteristics with variation of output voltage power supply, flow rate and gap $\circled2$ ozone generation characteristics with variation of flow rate, gap and discharge power. pure oxygen was used as process gas of the co-axial type ozonizer. In this paper, a double cylindrical type superposed silent discharge type ozonizer which internal electrode can be produced a vacuum has been designed and manufactured. Discharge and ozone generation characteristics have been investigated in accordance with output voltage of power supply, flow-rate, discharge power and vacuum of internal electrode.

피스톤 타입 조파기의 형상 매개변수에 대한 조파성능 연구 (A Parametric Study of the Wave-Generation Performance of a Piston-Type Wave Maker)

  • The wave-generation performance of a piston-type wave maker was analyzed using the numerical wave tank technique, and the numerical results were compared with theoretical solutions. A two-dimensional frequency domain analysis was conducted based on the Rankine panel method. Various parameters were used to examine the wave-generation performance, such as the width and gap of the wave board. The effects of the thickness of the wave board and of the gap from the bottom of the tank were evaluated. The difference in the amplitude of the generated wave between the analytical solution and the numerical result was examined, and its causes were addressed due to the gap flow between the bottom of the tank and the wave board. This parametric analysis can be utilized to design an optimum wave make parametric analysis to design an optimum wave maker that can generate waves with amplitudes that can be predicted accurately.

  • Ozone has been widely applied to many industrial fields because of its strong oxidation power, Therefore, the studies have been carried out for the methods on an effective and high concentration ozone generation. The silent or surface discharge type ozone generators have been mainly used for high concentration ozone generation in many fields of applications. But these two types of ozone generators have shortcomings to be improved. In this study, the ozone generator which improved the shortcomings of above ozone generators was proposed and fabricated for the high concentration ozone generation. And the proposed ozone generator could generate the surface and barrier discharge simultaneously. For this purpose, a mesh type discharge electrode was proposed and studied as a function of the widths output maximum ozone concentration of 2.96[vol%] was obtained at 5.6[kV], 830[mA], for 0.3[mm] width and 0.8[mm] vacancy of the mesh electrode and gap spacing of 0.65[mm] respectively.

  • In this paper, we presents the characteristics of the new electrode structure in an AC Plasma Display Panel(PDP) that can generate dual mode discharges with a combination of short-gap and long-gap discharges. The experiment results show that the discharge voltage of the new electrode structure is mainly determined by short-gap discharge and the luminous efficiency is improved by 20% compared with the conventional electrode structure. The improvement of luminous efficiency is mainly caused by higher VUV generation and broader distribution from Ole ICCD camera measurements.

  • Near field recording (NFR) technology with SIL has been thought as the most promising generation optical storage device. A gap distance between the SIL and the disc should be controlled to be 20${\~}$40nm. We observed gap error signal in our NFR test-bed using a blue LD (405nm). The digital gap servo filter and control algorithm were developed to maintain a constant air gap by adopting a conventional actuator.

A Design Optimization of Asymmetric Air-gap Structure for Small 3-phase Permanent Magnet SPM BLDC Motor

  • As many researchers are relentlessly trying to improve the power generation schemes from the power grid, to meet the constantly increasing electricity demand. In this paper, the results of a finite element analysis are carried out to study on a design optimization of an asymmetric air-gap structure in 3-phase Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motors. To achieve a high efficiency for a 3-phase PM BLDC motor, the asymmetric air-gap structure is proposed considering the rotation direction of a motor. Generally, a single-phase BLDC motor is applied asymmetric air-gap structure for starting. This is because the asymmetric air-gap structure causes reluctance variation so the motor can utilize reluctance torque toward a rotation direction. In this paper, the asymmetric air-gap is applied to 3-phase BLDC SPM motor so it utilizes reluctance torque with alignment torque. A proposed model is designed by 2-D FE analysis and the results are verified by experimental test.

  • Interest in process control has rebounded from an all-time low in the mid-1970s, with a new focus on bridging the gap between academic theory and industrial practice. Since then, much progress has been made in the new generation of process control theory to bridge this gap. This review summarizes the recent advances and cur-rent problems in process control on a qualitative level.
