The diesel driven power generation facility provides most of electricity of island region where is isolated from the main land power supply system. It is possible to extend the life of diesel driven power generation facility by periodic maintenance. However, the long-term use of diesel driven power generation facility increases the operating cost due to aging hardware and reduced plant efficiency. In other words, on-time replacement of aging diesel driven power generation facility reduces plant operation cost. The purpose of this study presents major indicators to represent the characteristics of the diesel generator and conducts sensitivity analysis using Monte Carlo analysis. In addition, status core which indicates quantitatively the state of the diesel driven power generation facility is defined and prepare the replacement criteria based on the state score.
This study aims to examine the effect of a change of leadership on internal environment and organization effectiveness and suggest measures on effective organizational management by analyzing a change of leadership before and after 2nd generation management. There was analysis of a difference of leadership type, organizational structure, organizational culture, management resources, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment between the period of the founders and the period of 2nd generation successors by collecting data from employees of 6 hospitals in Seoul. Also there was analysis of the effect of a change of leadership on internal environment and organizational effectiveness. According to the analysis, it was demonstrated that the factor affecting job satisfaction during the period of the founder was complexity of organizational structure, and there were no factors affecting organizational commitment. In contrast, during the period of the 2nd generation successors, it was revealed that transformational leadership, centralism of organizational structure, and human resources of management resources affect job satisfaction, and transformational leadership, complexity of organizational structure, hierarchical culture of organizational culture, and human resources of management resources affect organizational commitment. Further, after the succession from the founders to 2nd generation successors, as transformational leadership increased, job satisfaction rose, and as developmental culture was reinforced and human resources increased, organizational commitment was heightened. Furthermore, as transformational leadership increased and developmental culture was reinforced, organizational commitment was heightened. Namely, as transformational leadership was reinforced resulting from the succession to 2nd generation, employees' job satisfaction and organizational commitment increased, with circumstances aiming for the actual change.

This paper describes an automatic mesh generation system for finite element analysis of three-dimensional cracks. It is consisting of fuzzy knowledge processing, bubble meshing and solid geometry modeler. This novel mesh generation process consists of three sub-processes: (a) definition of geometric model, i.e. analysis model, (b) generation of bubbles, and (c) generation of elements. One of commercial solid modelers is employed for three-dimensional crack structures. Bubble is generated if its distance from existing bubble points is similar to the bubble spacing function at the point. The bubble spacing function is well controlled by the fuzzy knowledge processing. The Delaunay method is introduced as a basic tool for element generation. Practical performances of the present system are demonstrated through several mesh generations for 3D cracks.
In this paper, a wave-induced swirl water chamber (SWC) for breakwater and wave power generation is introduced and its applicability to wave power generation in the coastal waters of Korea is investigated. The SWC type of wave power generation is a way to drive a turbine using the unidirectional swirl flow that is induced in the back of a curtain wall of a breakwater due to incident waves. The typical wave characteristics are obtained by analyzing the annual statistical wave data from KHOA (Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Administration). A numerical analysis is carried out on the variations in the SWC entrance height, wave height, and different installation conditions. For the numerical analysis, a commercial code, Fluent based on FVM, is used. As the entrance height decreases, the mass flow rate through the entrance is rarely changed, whereas the magnitude of the flow velocity of the smaller entrance height is greater than the other ones, which is better for the formation of an SWC swirl flow inside and the flow kinetic energy at the entrance. In cases of installation conditions where a wall is place behind and under SWC, it has been shown that the mass flow rate through the entrance is greater than that in the open condition, and sufficient flow kinetic energy is generated in the entrance for wave power generation. However, the swirl flow kinetic energy is relatively small. Thus, in the future, it is necessary to study the swirl flow generation, which is affected by the SWC shape.

This paper is a study to derive the predicted value of power generation based on the photovoltaic power generation data measured in Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Multivariate variables such as direct current, alternating current, and environmental data were measured in the inverter to measure the amount of power generation, and pre-processing was performed to ensure the stability and reliability of the measured values. Correlation analysis used only data with high correlation with power generation in time series data for prediction using partial autocorrelation function (PACF). Deep learning models were used to measure the amount of power generation to predict the amount of photovoltaic power generation, and the results of correlation analysis of each multivariate variable were used to increase the prediction accuracy. Learning using refined data was more stable than when existing data were used as it was, and the solar power generation prediction algorithm was improved by using only highly correlated variables among multivariate variables by reflecting the correlation analysis results.
The food service industry has grown larger with changes in the economic and socio-cultural environment. In this saturated food service industry, generation X and MZ are the main consumer forces that demand attention. That is because a generation is the main psychographic factor that reflects personal values and lifestyle based on one's life cycle. From such a perspective, a generation in marketing has been used as a variable to predict a market by supplementing demographic factors. Accordingly, this study classified generations into generation X and generation MZ with the use of the 2019 consumer behavior survey for food by Korea Rural Economic Institute (KREI) and then investigated the factors influencing group and personal dining-out expenses. The analysis was carried out applying the Tobit model using SPSS and R. The positively influential variables on generation X's personal dining-out expenditure were male, single person, high income and simple lifestyle, whereas housewives, personal ethical consciousness, behavioral ethical consciousness, and safe dietary life were negatively influential variables. The positively influential variables on generation MZ's personal dining-out expenditures were male, dual-income, high education level, corporate and governmental ethical consciousness, while the number of family members and safe dietary life were negatively influential variables.
In this paper, we classify next generation mobile communications services into service categories and develop service evolution scenarios for developing the next generation mobile communications service roadmap in NGMC Forum. Firstly, Service categories are defined based on the purpose of service usage. Secondly, the services are classified into the categories and their relationship is analyzed. The candidates of services to be classified and analyzed include all kinds of services discussed in a conceptual level as well as current mobile/Internet services. Finally, we develop a service evolution scenario in each service category. When the next generation service road map is developed based on the results of this paper, it is expected to secure the initiative and enhance the competitive edge in the field of the next generation mobile communications.
In this work, an one-dimensional analysis on spontaneous combustion in a coal stockpile was conducted using a commercial software $gPROMS^{(R)}$ based on assumption suggested by Arioy and Akgun. According to them, it is assumed that there is temperature difference between the surface of coal particle and the gas surrounded around the particle, and it is also assumed that the velocity of the gas is constant and thus oxygen is fed to the stockpile with same velocity. The higher temperature zone is formed to the surface of the coal stockpile at the initial phase and it became deepen as time is taken. Finally it was found that the temperature difference between coal particle and the gas was calculated as $57^{\circ}C$ and spontaneous combustion have not been occurred during 6 months since coal was piled in the stock.

Wind power generation is the natural source energy without pollution, and the highest economic efficiency among renewable energies. Amid the recent development of small wind power generation, wind power generation facilities can be installed in the super high-rise buildings or complexes. It is necessary to conduct analyses on appropriate locations in a bid to promote efficient power generation in those locations. In this study, relative weight of the elements required for the wind power generation were estimated by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process in Busan City, and the characteristics of wind velocity and wind direction in Busan City were expressed. As a result, 'Dadae 1-dong, Cheolma-myeon, Noksan-dong' was selected as the candidate region inside Gangseo-gu, Gijang-gun, Saha-gu by using the geo-spatial information system.

The logical analysis of data(LAD) is a Boolean-logic based data mining tool. A critical step in analyzing data by LAD is the pattern generation stage where useful knowledge and hidden structural information in data is discovered in the form of patterns. A conventional method for pattern generation in LAD is based on term enumeration that renders the generation of higher degree patterns practically impossible. In this paper, we present a novel optimization-based pattern generation methodology and propose two mathematical programming models, a mixed 0-1 integer and linear programming (MILP) formulation and a well-studied set covering problem (SCP) formulation for the generation of optimal and heuristic patterns, respectively. With benchmark datasets, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our models by automatically generating with ease patterns of high complexity that cannot be generated with the conventional approach.
