In the self-directed learning, learner can construct learning course. But it is very difficult for learner to construct learning course with understanding the various learning contents's characteristics. This research proposed the method to support to learner the information of learning contents type to fit the learner as calculate the learner's learning preference when learner construct the learning course. The calculating method of learning preference used preference vector value of topic map. To apply this method, we tested 20 learning sampling group and presented that this method help to learner to construct learning course as getting the high average degree of learning satisfaction.

This study investigates the implementation of the Converged Science, and what teachers and students think of it in order to understand how it is taking root in schools. The results identify ways in which the new curriculum can establish itself in schools. One hundred and two science teachers, who had participated in the mandatory workshop for the 2009 Amended Course of Science, were given the first survey regarding their general perception of the converged science curriculum. A year after the first implementation of the new curriculum, one hundred and seventy one science teachers were given the second survey in order to determine their general perception and actual results in the classrooms. A similar survey was given to one hundred and forty nine tenth grade students. In addition, one hundred and forty eight tenth grade students, who had experienced the new science curriculum, took part in another survey revealing their general thoughts the course. The results show that the teachers' responses are rarely positive. The teachers claimed that the contents were too extensive while the level of fundamental concepts were too rigorous for tenth graders. They also asserted that the contents contained too much of a particular subject, and that it is necessary to lower the level of rigor. With regard to the level of unification of converged science textbooks, the teachers expressed that they are still slightly inadequate. The subject of science in the seventh curricula was criticized due to its lack of convergence: over 90% of the respondents answered negatively. On the other hand, the students responded more positively: they said that the new converged science was difficult to learn, but was interesting. In Busan, most high schools adopted the new curriculum in the first year when it was introduced for the first time. In most cases (over 80%), several teachers divided and taught the contents either according to their majors or regardless of their majors.

The article considers in detail the possibilities and significance of marketing technologies for additional education programs as the most flexible and adaptive component of the educational process. Moreover, additional education programs are the most market-defined. Also at this stage, we have developed the structure of the e-mail message about ongoing additional educational programs in order to promote them, and on its basis, we have prepared an example of a letter for e-mail.informational and educational mailing using techniques to attract the attention of the addressee in order to promote additional educational programs. The content of the letter was also formed for students of the electronic course "Education Marketing", sent out in order to monitor the educational process.
In this study, the effects of concept mapping on the preservice elementary teachers' achievement, conceptual understanding, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy belief were investigated in the undergraduate general chemistry course. The aptitude-treatment interaction (ATI) between preservice teachers' learning approach and concept mapping strategy was also investigated. Sixty-nine freshmen from a university of education were assigned to a control group and a treatment group. Tests regarding students' learning approach, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy belief were administered as pretests. Treatment lasted for 9 weeks. In every class, students in the treatment group constructed concept maps, while those in the control group solved the problems of the textbook after the lecture. After the instructions, tests of achievement, conceptual understanding, anxiety toward science, and science teaching efficacy beliefs were administered. The results indicated that students in the treatment group significantly outperformed those of the control group in the achievement test. In the conceptual understanding and the science teaching efficacy beliefs, however, no statistically significant differences were found between two groups. Students of the treatment group showed significantly higher anxiety than their counterpart in the test of anxiety toward science. No aptitudetreatment interaction between students' learning approach and the concept mapping strategy was found.
This study was aimed at knowing the recognition of teachers' nutrition knowledge and nutrition education at day-care centers in Seong-nam. Teachers were all female, most of whom were in the 20, and their careers were less than 3 years. And $76.2\%$ of the teachers graduated from high school and junior college. The score of the nutrition knowledge was average $14.3\pm2.2$ (out of 20). It shows that they are lack of general information of nutrition. As the teachers had higher education, they scored higher nutrition knowledge levels (p < 0.01). It also says that there was meaningful interrelationship between the nutrition knowledge and the number of children they had (p < 0.05). $93\%$ of the teachers said that nutrition education should be given when children are three years old, at least and most of the teachers thought that nutrition education is necessary and should be taught in a separate course. $50.4\%$ of the teachers thought that nutrition education for early childhood should be taught by a nutritionist, but $35.2\%$ of them thought that the teachers themselves should be in charge of it. About $60\%$ of the teachers thought that 'Cooking Activity for Early Childhood' course should be established and it is desirable that the nutrition education should be in the area of cooking activity for childhood at day-care centers. The teachers thought that dietary habit is the most important subject in nutrition education and they got more information from the internet rather than in the class related to nutrition. The purpose of this paper is to provide the basic information concerning school health nursing activities in schools lacking in a school nurse, and the degree of satisfaction of trainess to the training course of school health nursing. The data for this study were collected by means of questionnaire from 150 teachers(100 of primary school and 50 of middle school)who attended the training course superintended by the Board of Education of Kyeong Nam Province from July 27 to August 6 in 1987. The main results of this study can be summarized as following; 1. General characteristics of the trainees: The majority of the trainees (71.3%) were in the age of twenties, 86.5% graduated from four-year teachers' college, 63.5% had less than five-year experience as a teacher. 2. 60.5% of the trainees were actually offering school health nursing services. 67.8% decided voluntarily to participate in the training course, and 62.7% attended the course for the purpose of obtaining health knowledge. 3. Only 4.2% of schools established appropriate health organization, and 34.5% were equipped with nursing clinic. But the main reason school health nursing activities were not performed very well was the insufficient supply of needed medicines and related materials. 4. School health nursing services in schools lacking in a school nurse were offered mainly by the teacher holding additional job of school health. class teacher and atheletic teacher. But the sanitary management for school meal services and community health activities were not carried out at all in many schools. 5. As a whole, trainees were satisfied with training program. But some subjects of the course did not satisfy them because those ones were so theoretical without any practice. 6. Many trainees wished the training course to be more concentrated on case studies which are helpful to solve actual problems. 7. 75% of trainees answered to have decided to perform school health nursing activities more actively than before. 8. Any significant relationship can not be found between trainees' general characteristics and their attitude to school health nursing activities after the training course. Only one factor-motivation to attend the training course-had the statistical significance of 8.7%.
Purpose: Although the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course is now taught internationally, it has not been implemented in Korea. In recent years, interest has increased in simulation as a teaching tool in the ATLS course. We therefore hypothesized that simulation training would be a useful adjunct to the ATLS course. Methods: We designed a 1-day curriculum that included skill development workstations, expert lectures, trauma patient simulations, and group discussion for general surgery residents. We conducted a survey to evaluate participants' level of understanding of the initial evaluation and treatment of trauma patients, their degree of knowledge and technical improvement, their satisfaction with the learning goals, and their overall satisfaction with the curriculum. We then analyzed the effects before and after the training. Results: Nine residents attended this course. None of the residents initially reported that they could perform a primary survey of trauma patients. The analysis revealed significant improvements after training in the questionnaire areas of "assembly of the team and preparation for resuscitation of a trauma patient" (p=0.008), "performance of a primary survey for trauma patients" (p=0.007), "resuscitative procedures for trauma patients" (p=0.008), "importance of re-evaluation" (p=0.007), "identifying the pitfalls associated with the initial assessment and management" (p=0.007), and "importance of teamwork" (p=0.007). Conclusions: After the ATLS simulation training, all participants showed significant improvements in their understanding of how to manage multiple trauma patients. Therefore, ATLS simulation training for residents will help in the management of trauma patients.

In this paper, we propose a Software Education Program for the Education Welfare Priority Support students. Elementary school students of education welfare priority support programs has low school satisfaction level and course maturity. Also, they have various problem such as relatively large digital divide when compared to general student. To solve such problem, we designed, developed, and applied a software education program on education welfare priority support program's elementary school students to analyze its effect on their learning motivation, self-efficacy, and goal orientation. Software education program followed the main stages of ADDIE model and was designed into experience Sharing, Requirements analysis, Sharing, Grouping, and Organizing. 20 of 6th graders in education welfare priority support programs were chosen as subject for software education program. The effectiveness has been analyzed through pre, and pro test. As a result of the analysis, we found that the developed software education program has meaningful effect on Learning Motivation, Self-efficacy, and Goal Orientation of education welfare priority support program's elementary students.
