  • Purpose: To identify the importance and performance levels of health management duties, work-related and general attributes of health managers in medical institutions and analyze their impact on the performance of managing health-care related tasks. Methods: This research identified the performance levels of 150 health managers who have been executing industrial health-related duties for more than six months as nurses in medical institutions with more than 30 hospital beds. The variables which affect their performances were then analyzed. Results: The average importance of health care duties was 8.1 out of 10 and 5.5 for performance levels. Multi-regression analysis on the variables affecting performance levels of health managers in medical institutions showed that health managers exhibit higher numbers under the following conditions: over 300 full-time employees, more than 1 year but less than 3 years of experience, positions above section chief level, affiliation to the safety and health department, and high perception of duty importance. Conclusion: Improved cognizance of health manager importance should occur initially; then, health-care center setup, assigning of exclusive occupational health managers, and organizational efforts to improve the working environment in tandem with the provision of educational training programs to improve work quality are necessary.

  • Information technology leadership roles have undergone fundamental change over the past decade. Despite increase interest in recent years, little empirical research on Information Technology has been done. This paper suggests results from a survey in Korea on Information Technology. The survey collected data on general leadership roles such as information roles, decisional role and interpersonal role, as well as on specific Information Technology leadership roles such as planning leader, R&D manager, general manager, chief operating strategist. The role of a change leader is positively influenced by the number of years, the extent of strategic responsibility and the organization's revenue while it is negatively influenced by the number of years in the current position. R&D manager can be predicted by strategic responsibility and chief executive's IT use, Manager can be predicted by the extent of strategic responsibility. Although several significant predictors of Information Technology leadership roles were identified, the more signigicant study should continue in the future.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine factors affecting the burden on employment of occupational health care providers as well as to develop strategies to reduce burden on employment of them in the middle size manufacturing enterprises. Methods: The target population of this study was 123 managers working in the middle size manufacturing enterprises. The study questionnaires were selected, as theories and literature suggested, for explaining employment burden, general characteristics of participants and occupational health providers, general characteristics of companies, evaluation of occupational health provider's role and burden score. Results: The mean of employment burden score of manager was 2.2. There was a significant difference in the employment burden scores, manager's age and education, and occupational health provider's age, type of work, certification, and employment status. Also there was a negative relationship between employment burden scores and occupational health provider's role scores (need, role, satisfaction, and benefit). In the results of the standard multiple regression analysis, manager's need scores on occupational health providers were significant predictors of the employment burden scores. Conclusion: It is necessary to change the manager's perception to promote employment of occupational health providers.

  • Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are self-organized networks that typically consist of thousands of low-cost, low-powered sensor nodes. The reliability and availability of WSNs can be affected by faults, including those from radio interference, battery exhaustion, hardware and software failures, communication link errors, malicious attacks, and so on. Thus, we propose a novel multi-agent fault tolerant system for wireless sensor networks. Since a major requirement of WSNs is to reduce energy consumption, we use multi-agent and mobile agent configurations to manage WSNs that provide energy-efficient services. Mobile agent architecture have inherent advantages in that they provide energy awareness, scalability, reliability, and extensibility. Our multi-agent system consists of a resource manager, a fault tolerance manager and a load balancing manager, and we also propose fault-tolerant protocols that use multi-agent and mobile agent setups.

  • Despite a general acknowledgement of the importance of thorough needs analysis, a lot of training and education programmes are not considering needs analysis. When it is actually done, needs analysis is often trial and error or conducted in a fairly ad hoc manner. we are feel to needs for systematic approach to training and education needs analysis. We investigated the training and education needs for safety management system of railway manager. railway manager is just object to safety management team. we are develop to questionnaire design for safety management system in railway safety management. The questionnaire is separate to expert and a staff in charge related railway safety. • As the increasing national power crises due to various environmental factor, power market change is needed more developed and systemized DSM(Demand Side Management) search at DR market. To overcome national power crisis outbreaking every year and manage the eletric power reserve ratio, we need to construct and develop the electric safety manager and general public main oriented national power plant. For the advanced national power demand management system, it is required the application development like OpenAPI, Big Data Acquisition, Web/APP basd on ICT.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the control effect of empowerment from the effect to the task satisfaction of the nursing staff of the manager of followership, to study the relationship between the followership of nursing manager, task-satisfaction and empowerment that the nurse recognized. The data collection was conducted for nurses working at four general hospitals with 500 beds or more in Jeollanam-do from March 2 to March 17, 2019. The data were analyzed with the general characteristics of the subjects, and the degree of measurement variables were determined by frequency analysis and technical statistical analysis. The differences in the relevant factors according to the general characteristics were analyzed by t-test and ANOVA, and the correlation and multicollinearity among the measurement variables were analyzed as Pearson's correlation coefficiency, and Moderator regression analysis was performed to verify the adjustment effect of the empowerment. The results of the study showed significant results nursing managers' followership, empowerment and job satisfaction by the educational level. In addition, difference from work experience has shown statistically significant differences in job satisfaction. It has been shown that there is a static correlation between the followership of nursing manager that the subject recognized, empowerment and task satisfaction, the influence between followership and job satisfaction has been found to act as adjustment variables on empowerment. The conclusion of this study is meaningful in that it has verified its influence by applying recently emerging followership to nursing field. From now on, extensive research is important for the members to develop the leadership of members and followership.
