  • Analysis is made for a fish-drying process control in order to implement a human expertise into an automated fish drying system. Together with the idea described in the companion paper, a methodology is found effective in a general drying system other than fish drying.

The specific objectives to achieve the purpose of this research are as follow; First. In consideration of railroad tourism resources development policy and theory of policy analysis idea and goals, for analysis of railroad tourism resources development policy analysis are to be instituted more systematically. Second, the theory of railroad tourism resources development policy analysis will be made more systematic and use it as basis of the said analysis for further.

  • In a standard Metropolis-type Monte Carlo simulation, the proposal distribution cannot be easily adapted to "local dynamics" of the target distribution. To overcome some of these difficulties, Duane et al. (1987) introduced the method of hybrid Monte Carlo(HMC) which combines the basic idea of molecular dynamics and the Metropolis acceptance-rejection rule to produce Monte Carlo samples from a given target distribution. In this paper, using the HMC within Gibbs sampler, an asymptotical estimate of the smoothing mean and a general solution to state space modeling in Bayesian framework is obtaineds obtained.

  • In this paper we are concerned with optimal control problems whose costs are quadratic and whose states are governed by linear delay differential equations and general boundary conditions. The basic new idea of this paper is to introduce a new class of linear operators in such a way that the state equation subject to a starting function can be viewed as an inhomogeneous boundary value problem in the new linear operator equation. In this way we avoid the usual semigroup theory treatment to the problem and use only linear operator theory.

  • The technology relevant to a bipropellant propulsion system is quite new one in Korea, which is being transferred for the first time, with development of COMS propulsion system. It hasn't ever attempted before, and hasn't got any general idea itself as well, in Korea. The technical heritage of UK bipropellant propulsion pertinent to COMS propulsion system is scrutinised mainly. Furthermore the strong possibility of COMS CPS for the moon explorer mission is rationalised on the basis of the history of successful predecessors.

  • Nowdays switching software designs are based on the concept of maximizing efficiency. This idea is to put through the most call, in the fastest time, using the fewest possible resources. So the memory usages are embossed one of the most important part to be considered in the switching software.   • In this paper, using the notion of the imprecise set, the idea of an imprecise group is introduced including some examples. The two key rules of classical set theory are obeyed by this extended version of fuzzy sets, which the existing complement definition of a fuzzy set failed to do. With the support from general group theory, the paper also provides some fundamental properties of an imprecise group here. Additionally, it includes a few characteristics of imprecise subgroups, and abelian imprecise group.

종합병원 로비의 기능요소에 따른 공간구조 분석 (Analysis of the Spatial Configuration of Lobby in General Hospital)

  • General hospitals in Korea have increased more in size since 2000, and as not only medical service but the quality of the environment also got important, the considerable changes have appeared revolving around the lobbies. This study is a basic research to find a direction of a plan for general hospital lobbies in response to the demands that change. It was examined the current condition of lobbies so as to derive the idea of types of lobbies and of functional elements, and based on the research, it was compared and analyzed in terms of the spatial configuration to draw the characteristics by type. The result of the research is as follows. (1) The lobbies were explored after being classified into four types; the plan(central type/street type) and the elevation(eclectic type/double-story type). (2) The hall and corridor were ranked high in order of importance in the whole spatial configuration, and it has been utilized in various ways. (3) Also, each type differed with the others in its main functional area, regarding traffic line efficiency and spatial intelligibility.

  • Recently, there have been efforts to construct hybrids among the existing methodologies for multiphase flow such as VOF, Level Set, and Front Tracking with the intention of facilitating simulations of general three-dimensional problems. As one of the hybrid method, we have developed the Level Contour Reconstruction Method (LCRM) for general three-dimensional multiphase flows including phase change. The main idea was focused on simplicity and a robust algorithm especially for the three-dimensional case. It combines characteristics of both Front Tracking and Level Set methods. While retaining an explicitly tracked interface using interfacial elements, the calculation of a vector distance function plays a crucial role in the periodic reconstruction of the interface elements in the LCRM method to maintain excellent mass conservation and interface fidelity. In addition, compact curvature formulation is incorporated for the calculation of the surface tension force thereby reducing parasitic currents to a negligible level.
