Changes in the global business environment continue at an accelerated pace. The 21st century maybe remarked, perhaps, for its hot issues on globalization and diversity. Diversity may arise in terms of ethnic, gender, age and culture. Cultural diversity out of all stands out in front in modern times as more multinational companies operate internationally resulting more people to start living abroad and work with people from different cultures. In recent years, these multinational companies realized the important roles human resource management play in international trade since cultural diversity is very influential on their work performance. A well-managed human resources will ensure organizations' success to a great extent. This paper touches the field of cultural diversity and introduces human resource management of international trade as a way to handle diversity matters faced by international organizations.

This study examines the cultural meanings of underclothes advertisements through the analysis of advertisement messages appeared in women's magazines of Korea which are , and published between 1965 and 1999 mainly targeting the women at the age of 20s through 40s. The method of study is mainly qualitative with subsidiary citations from the results of content analysis. The advertisement messages identified in underclothes advertisements are 1) body care, 2) gender role, 3) commercialization of eroticism, 4) feminism, 5) men's social status and masculinity, 6) social issues of concern and ideologies of the time. Advertisements produce a new meaning through a dynamic mixture of the advertisement's visual and verbal factors. Such a new meaning then can become a part of culture and therefore we can obtain insights of a society culture by analyzing the advertisement messages of underclothes advertisements. Advertisements bring definite changes to the culture through long-term and implicit influences on the constituents of the culture.

This study investigated the relationships of care-oriented morality and justice-oriented morality to gender and sex role identity in young adults. The subjects of this study were 42 males and 46 females, the age of 30 to 39 years old. Care-oriented morality was assessed by the Ethic of Care Interview(ECI) and justice-oriented morality was assessed by the Korean Defining Issues Test(DIT) while sex role identity was assessed by the Korean Sex Role Inventory(KSRI). Care-oriented morality of most of the subjects was on level 2. The P(%) score of justice-oriented morality of most of the subjects was found to be pretty high. Sex differences were found both in the levels of care-oriented morality and justice-oriented morality. That is, women were higherthan men both in care-oriented morality and justice-oriented morality. However, no significant difference in sex role identity types was found both in the levels of care-oriented morality and justice-oriented morality.

현재 인터넷에서 사용중인 라우팅 프로토콜 중 대표적인 프로토콜인 기존의 BGP 프로토콜의 보안을 강화하는 연구들의 비교를 통해 BGP 프로토콜에 문제점으로 부각되고 있는 AS-Path, IP Fake, DRDoS 등의 BGP 프로토콜을 사용할 때 반드시 필요한 정보이지만 악의적인 공격 또는 잘못된 설정으로 인해 전세계 인터넷 망을 동작하지 못하게 할 수 있는 위협적인 사항에 대한 보안성에 대해 분석한다.

The prime objective set for paper is to identify what are the women seafarers' problems and concerns regarding employment on cargo ships. From the cargo ship point of view, the question then is how to provide sufficient solutions for women seafarers in the male-dominated workplace of the ship through Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) activities. The methodologies of study combine qualitative and quantitative research methods. The progress of research is to conduct a survey by asking a consistent set of key opinion leaders from the Republic of Korea. Moreover, to evaluate the elements of the result, the research explores the way in which we should consider giving priority to aspects of the problem. Finally, based on the terms of CSR, the author recommends measures to support the needs of women when they are employed onboard the world's merchant vessels.

The paper compares the statutory requirements for the design mid construction of primary schools in Korea and Scotland with respect to fire safety and examines the attitudes to, and the behavior in, evacuation scenarios of Primary school Pupils in both countries. The key behavioral issues examined are the effectiveness of fire safety training, the level of teacher dependency, the effect of spatial organization and gender differences both within and between Korea and Scotland.

This article addresses three key issues. First, the commonalities, differences, strengths, and limitations of existing occupational safety and health (OSH) legislation of low- and middle-income countries were determined. Second, required revisions were identified and discussed to strengthen the laws in accordance with the best international practice. Finally, proposals for additional OSH laws and interventions were suggested. A literature search of OSH laws of 10 selected low- and middle-income countries was carried out. The laws were subjected to uniform review criteria. Although the agricultural sector employs more than 70% of the population, most of the reviewed countries lack OSH legislation on the sector. Existing OSH laws are gender insensitive, fragmented among various government departments, insufficient, outdated, and nondeterrent to perpetrators and lack incentives for compliance. Conclusively, the legal frameworks require reformation and harmonization for the collective benefit to employees, employers, and regulatory authorities. New OSH legislation for the agricultural sector is required.

We report on a series of science articles presented in the Children's magazine 고래가그랬어. The monthly articles (appearing since 2016) highlight current issues in Physics and Astronomy with particular emphasis on science being conducted in Korea. Reporting is performed by interviewing experts in their respective fields. In an effort to encourage children to envisage themselves as scientists, interviews are taken predominantly from Korean early-career researchers. Gender balance is obtained through a careful selection of interviewees ensuring that children are exposed to a broad cross-section of science researchers. This series has introduced children to the 1st detection of Gravitational Waves, the KMTnet telescope system, the Korean Very Long Baseline Interferometric Network, KGMT, IBS Axion experiments, and many other experiments and discoveries.

A huge budget is spent on technological solutions to protect Information Systems from cyberattacks by organizations. However, it is not enough to invest alone in technology-based protection and to keep humans out of the cyber loop. Humans are considered the weakest link in cybersecurity chain and most of the time unaware that their actions and behaviors have consequences in cyber space. Therefore, humans' aspects cannot be neglected in cyber security field. In this work we carry out a systematic literature review to identify human factors in cybersecurity. A total of 27 papers were selected to be included in the review, which focuses on the human factors in cyber security. The results show that in total of 14 identified human factors, risk perception, lack of awareness, IT skills and gender are considered critical for organization as for as cyber security is concern. Our results presented a further step in understanding human factors that may cause issues for organizations in cyber space and focusing on the need of a customized and inclusive training and awareness programs.

This paper examines the complexities and creative opportunities brought about by the transnational circulation of texts specifically in the areas of transmission, consumption, and adaptation. The circulation of texts and along with it creative elements such as generic forms, tropes, and frameworks for consumption form an integral part in the production and advancement of any form of popular culture. In the process of such circulation, adaptation becomes a form of social and political process necessary for domestic palatability. In this paper, I examine how these complexities can be illustrated in the circulation of one emerging popular form in East and Southeast Asia: Boys Love (BL) television and web series. Using the transnational movement of the BL genre from South Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines, I examine how the circulation and adaptations are inflected by considerations related to regional geopolitics and domestic issues concerned with the creative praxis of representing gender and sexuality.
