산업용 냉각기의 열부하 변화에 대응한 정밀온도제어 특성 (Characteristics of Precise Temperature Control of Industrial Cooler on Thermal Load)

  • Recently, technical trend for machine tools is focused on enhancement of speed and accuracy. High speedy processing causes thermal and structural deformation of objects from the machine tools. Water cooler has to be applied to machine tools to reduce the thermal negative influence with accurate temperature controlling system. Existing On-Off control type can't control temperature accurately because compressor is operated and stopped repeatedly and causes increment of power consumption and decrement of the expected life of compressor. The goal of this study is to minimize temperature error in steady state. In addition, control period of an electronic expansion valve were considered to increment of lifetime of the machine tools and quality of product with a water cooler. PI controller is designed using type of hot-gas bypass for precise control of temperature. Gain of PI is decided easily by method of critical oscillation response, excellent performance of control is shown with 4.24% overshoot and ${\pm}0.2^{\circ}C$error of steady state. Also, error range of temperature is controlled within $0.2^{\circ}C$although disturbance occurs.

호흡 검출 시스템을 위한 초소형 센서 인터페이스 회로 (Miniaturized Sensor Interface Circuit for Respiration Detection System)

  • In this paper, a miniaturized sensor interface circuit for the respiration detection system is proposed. Respiratory diagnosis is one of the main ways to predict various diseases. The proposed system consists of respiration detection sensor, temperature sensor, and interface circuits. Electrochemical type gas sensor using solid electrolytes is adopted for respiration detection. Proposed system performs sensing, amplification, analog-to-digital conversion, digital signal processing, and i2c communication. And also proposed system has a small form factor and low-cost characteristics through optimization and miniaturization of the circuit structure. Moreover, technique for sensor degradation compensation is introduced to obtain high accuracy. The size of proposed system is about 1.36 cm2.

고품질화 바이오가스 이용 기술지침 마련을 위한 연구(III): 도시가스 및 수송용 - 기술지침(안) 중심으로 (A Study on Establishment of Technical Guideline of the Installation and Operation for the Biogas Utilization of Transportation and City Gas: Design and Operation Guideline)

  • 본 연구에서는 유기성폐자원의 바이오가스 생산 및 이용을 최적화를 위해 현장시설의 정밀모니터링과 시설별 에너지수지를 분석하고, 현장문제 해결방안에 대해서 조사하여 전처리시설 및 발전기 등의 설계 및 운전 가이드라인을 제시하였다. 고품질화 정제설비 운영에 잦은 고장 및 효율 저하를 해결하기 위해서는 가스전처리가 필요하며, 탈황, 제습, 탈실록산, 분진 처리, 휘발성유기화합물 등의 처리공정이 있다. 이 공정들은 고품질화 공정에서도 제거되는 물질들이기에 가스 전처리에서는 정량적 가이드라인은 제시하지 않고, 정성적 가이드라인으로 처리공간에 운영하도록 제시하였다. 특히, 분진, 실록산 및 휘발성유기화합물 등은 가스 전처리에서 제거되지 않으면 고품질화 공정의 잦은 고장의 주원인이된다. 바이오가스 고품질화 공정에 대한 설계 운전 가이드라인은 전체 가스 발생량의 90 % 이상 이용, 2계열화, 여유율 10 % 이상 감안 등이 있으며, 품질기준[메탄함량(프로판 포함) 95 % 이상]을 제시함. 또한 균등한 바이오가스 유입을 위해 가스균등조 설치, 보조연료 균등투입 제어를 위한 열량자동조절장치 설치, 가스압축과정에서 다량 발생하는 수분 제거를 위한 고품질화 후단의 제습장치 설치, 겨울철 설비의 결빙 및 효율 저하 방지를 위한 보온설비 설치, 특히 멤브레인 설비는 실내 설치 등을 제시하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 5G 네트워크용 UAV(: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)를 사용한 산업단지 내의 현장 상황을 실시간 감시하는 시스템에 대해 소개한다. UAV에 장착된 센서(화재, 유해가스 검출, 산업 재해형 인체 사고 감지)에서 모니터링 이벤트가 발생하면 센서의 주요 정보들이 UAS(: Unmanned Aerial System)애플리케이션 서버로 전달한다. 이러한 정보 전달 처리결과로, 산업단지공단의 관리자나 운영자는 사고 위험 상황별 트리거 처리를 통한 산업단지공단 내의 현장에서 인명사고와 화재, 그리고 유해 가스검출에 대한 법적인 근거 자료를 확보할 수 있게 되었다.

더스티 플라즈마 연구 동향 (Dusty Plasmas-from space to semiconductor & display industries)

  • Dusty plasmas consisting of electrons, ions, neutral gas molecules, and small solid-state 'dust' particles are ubiquitous. Examples include plasma processing, fusion plasmas, polar mesospheric clouds, Saturn's rings, comet tails, and protoplanetary disks. Since Voyager I and II discovered dusty plasmas in our solar system, dusty plasmas have been extensively studied from space & basic sciences to semiconductor & display industries. Here, a brief review on dusty plasma research is given and some remarkable results are introduced.

  • The objective of study on composite cylinder for alternative fuel vehicle is to develop safe, efficient, and commercially viable, on-board fuel storage system for the fuel cell vehicle or natural gas vehicle that use highly compressed gaseous fuel such as hydrogen or natural gas. This study presents the whole procedure of development and certification of a type 3 composite cylinder of 207bar service pressure and 70 liter water capacity, which includes design/analysis, processing of filament winding, and validation through various testing and evaluation. Design methods of liner configuration and winding patterns are presented. Three dimensional, nonlinear finite element analysis techniques are used to predict burst pressure and failure mode. Design and analysis techniques are verified through burst and cycling tests. The full qualification test methods and results for validation and certification are presented.

  • This study was conducted to assess performances of the developed environmental control systems under various seasons of Korea. In all trials for the environmental control systems, the manure pit ventilation system in the windowless pig-housing with partly slatted floor was used. Consequently, under all seasons of Korea, the complex environmental control systems could comfortably maintain the indoor temperature (14.8~27.2$^{\circ}C$) , concentrations of noxious gases (CO2 gas : 631~1,874ppm, NH3 gas : 0.3~3.2ppm), air velocity (0.11~0.23m/s), air movement, and so on. Therefore, the performances of the complex environmental control systems were evaluated as proper as the intended.

  • An automatic welding system was constructed with a personal computer to capture the welding data in addition to vision seam tracking for the gas metal arc welding process. The monitoring of welding signals is composed of the acquisition of welding voltage and current, obtained by using two differential amplifiers and A/D converters, and processing of the measured data. Using interrupt handing circuit for time sharing, two jobs of seam tracking and monitoring were performed at the required sampling time. Relations between welding signals and various welding circumstances were analyzed from the experimental results.

  • c-BN films were deposited on SKH-51 steels by electron assisted hot filament CVD method and microstructure development was studied processing parameters such as bias voltage, temperature, etching and phase transformation at boundary layer between BN compound and steel to develop a high performance wear resistance tools. A negative bias voltage higher than 200V at substrate temperature of $800^{\circ}C$ and gas pressure of 20 torr in B2H6-NH3-H2 gas system was one of optimum conditions to produce c-BN films on the SKH-51 steels. Thin layer of hexagonal boron nitride phase was observed at the interface between c-BN layer and substrate.
