스트레인 게이지를 이용한 Pilot LNG 저장탱크 멤브레인 실 변형 거동 측정 (The Measurement of Real Deformation Behavior in Pilot LNG Storage Tank Membrane by using Strain Gage)

  • Korea Gas Corp. has developed the design technology of the LNG storage tank. The membrane to be applied inside of the LNG storage tank is provided with corrugations to absorb thermal contraction and expansion caused by LNG temperature changes. It is very important to measure their thermal strains under LNG temperatures by analytical and experimental stress analysis of the membrane. We have developed a stress measurement system using strain gages and measured the strain during cooldown and storing the LNG. We also analyzed the measured data by comparison with the FEM data. On the basis of these results, we could design and assure the application of the Kogas Membrane to large scale LNG storage.

  • Currently knowledge of strain in welds has mainly been obtained from strain gage method; that is directly attaching the gage to the most of the material. The very flew non-contact methods are still in the early stage. One of the non-contact methods is by the use of the laser that has high-level of the accuracy for the measurement, and this laser also has excellent characteristics on which many studies for its applications are focused throughout the many fields. The paper is on the measurement of the strain caused by the characteristics and the temperature changes of the GTA welded zone employed with 3D ESPI system that is functionally modified through the laser ESPI system. This system may be applied the steel plate such as for the electronics, chemistry, flood instrument and electronic appliances.

  • LNG 저장탱크의 주요 구조인 멤브레인은 LNG 누설을 방지하기 위하여 설계되었다. 멤브레인 유닛은 $-162^{\circ}C$의 액화시킨 LNG의 접촉에 따라 발생하는 가스압, 액압, 그리고 열하중을 지지하도록 설계되므로 멤브레인 구조의 강도를 실험적 방법을 이용하여 측정하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 상용 전기저항식 스트레인 게이지와 자체적으로 제작한 기계적 열 변형 측정 장치를 이용한 변형 측정 시스템을 제안하였다.

  • The gas pressure acting on the rings in internal combustion engine influences the friction, wear and HC emission. In order to understand their characteristics, it is necessary to measure the interring gas pressure during engine operations. In this study, miniature type pressure transducer was developed to measure inter-ring gas pressure. And measurements of cylinder and inter-ring gas pressure were made on a gasoline engine running at full and part load conditions. Finally the characteristics of inter-ring gas pressure variation during engine operation were obtained form analysis of measured date.

  • LNG 저장탱크 내부에 설치되는 멤브레인은 LNG 저장시 발생하는 온도와 압력의 하중변화에 따른 열수축과 팽창을 주름에서 흡수하도록 설계 되어있다 따라서 멤브레인 주름부의 변형률 측정을 통한 성능평가가 중요하며 이를 위해 유한요소해석 및 실험을 수행한다. 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 응력측정 시스템을 구축하여 운전 상태에서 멤브레인 주름 거동을 파악하기 위하여 변형률을 측정하였다. 일부 측정값을 유한요소해석에 의해 구한 결과와 비교하여 KOGAS 멤브레인의 특성을 검토하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 마이크로 추진장치의 개발을 위한 기초연구로 마이크로 노즐의 유동 특성을 분석하였다. 냉가스 추진원리를 이용하였으며, 추진 장치의 노즐 목 직경이 1.0, 0.5, 0.25 mm 인 마이크로 노즐을 방전가공을 이용하여 제작하였다. 판스프링과 스트레인 게이지를 이용한 추력측정장치를 이용하여 추력을 측정하였으며, 대기압 환경과 진공환경에서 마이크로 노즐의 유동특성을 분석하였다. 추진제는 아르곤과 질소를 사용하였으며, 실험 결과를 CFD 결과와 비교하였다. 연구 결과 노즐의 소형화로 인해 점성과 배압에 의한 유동손실이 발생함을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • The objective of this thesis is to investigate the influence of welding residual stresses on the fatigue growth behavior of welding residual stresses on the fatigue growth behavior of cracks located transverse to the weld bead. For this purpose, G.T.A. (Gas Tungsten Arc) welding was performed on the Al. Alloy 1100-0 plate and the same initial crack is made on HAZ(Heat Affected Zone), weld metal and base metal respectively. C.T.(Compact Tension) specimens were used as experimental material. Initial welding residual stresses were measured by using strain gage sectioning method. All specimens were tested under constant amplitude load with stress ratio R=0.1

다리 환자를 위한 보행보조로봇의 종아리 링크 3축 힘센서 개발 (Development of Calf Link Force Sensors of Walking Assist Robot for Leg Patients)

  • This paper describes the design and fabrication of a three-axis force sensor with parallel plate beams (PPSs) for measuring the calf force while a patient with a walking assist robot is walking. Current walking assist robots can't measure the weight of the patient's leg and the robot's leg which required for robot control. So, the three-axis force sensor in the calf link is designed and manufactured, it is composed of a Fx force sensor, a Fy force sensor and a Fz force sensor. The three-axis force sensor was designed using by FEM(Finite Element Method), and fabricated using strain-gages. The characteristics experiment of the three-axis force sensor was carried out respectively. The test results indicated that the repeatability error and the non-linearity error of three-axis force sensor was less than 0.04% respectively. Therefore, the fabricated three-axis force sensor in the calf link can be used to measure the patient's calf force in the walking assist robot.
