이동식 LNG 충전소 정량적 위험성 평가 (Quantitative Risk Assessment of Mobile LNG Filling Station)

  • 정부는 국내 미세먼지의 주요 원인 중 하나인 대형화물차의 연료를 경유에서 액화천연가스(LNG) 등의 친환경 연료로 전환하는 정책을 추진하고 있다. 부족한 충전 인프라의 문제점을 해결하고, LNG 연료의 초기 보급을 원활하게 하기 위해 규제자유특구를 통한 이동식충전소 개발과 실증이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실증용 이동식충전소의 개발에 앞서 안전한 설계를 위해 정량적 위험성평가 프로그램을 활용하여 주요설비(저장, 충전)에 대한 피해영향범위를 산출하였으며, 가상 시나리오에 대한 개인적/사회적 위험도를 예측하여 위험성 분석을 실시하였다. 위험도 분석 결과, 이동식충전소 실증시설의 위험성은 가용한 범위 내에 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Environmental awareness and economical profits of replacing gas turbines in gas compressor stations: A case study of Polkalleh station in Iran

  • In early 90s the worldwide awareness about the energy crisis and global warming had been increased and emission reduction (by improving energy efficiency), as well as increasing the capacity of clean and renewable energies, showed themselves as the most important steps towards the sustainable development approach. However, investigations on Iran's environmental situation show huge decline in recent decades and apparently there is no sense of urgency about these issues through the vision of Iranian politicians. In this article the idea of replacing the old gas turbines of Polkalleh natural gas compressor station - as one of the main compressor stations of Iran - with newer and more efficient gas turbines is evaluated, emphatically for reducing greenhouse gases emissions and their environmental costs and decreasing natural gas consumption as well. Clearly such idea is costly, but analyzing its economic impacts, huge declines in annual costs and greenhouse gases emissions can be seen as well. So an investment about $95 million can decrease 40% of Polkalleh compressor station annual costs, 25% of natural consumption and 30% of $CO_2$ and $NO_x$ emissions. Besides the simple payback period of this investment is about 2.5 years from the cut-expenses of annual costs.

  • In July and October of this year, the government announced the 'Green new deal plan within the Korean new deal policy' and 'Strategies for proliferation of future vehicles and market preoccupation'. And, in response to changes in the global climate agreement, it has decided to expand green mobility such as electric vehicles and hydrogen electric vehicles with the aim of a "net-zero" society. Accordingly, the goal is to build 310 hydrogen refueling stations along with the supply of 60,000 hydrogen vehicles in 2022, and the hydrogen infrastructure is being expanded. however, it is difficult to secure hydrogen infrastructure due to expensive construction costs and difficulty the selection of a site. In Korea, it is possible to build a mobile hydrogen station according to the safety standards covering special case of the Ministry of Industry. Since the mobile hydrogen station can be charged while moving between authorized place, it has the advantage of being able to meet a large number of demands with only one hydrogen refueling station, so it is proposed as a model suitable for the early market of hydrogen infrastructure. This study demonstrates the establishment of a hydrogen refueling station by deriving a virtual accident scenario for leakage and catastrupture for each facility for the risk factors in a mobile hydrogen station, and performing a quantitative risk assessment through the derived scenario. Through the virtual accident scenario, direction of demonstration and implications for the construction of a mobile hydrogen refueling station were derived.

소비자의 주유소 재방문의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Effect of Choice Factors of Gas Station on Repurchase Intention)

  • This research investigates the present situation of petroleum market and the potential strategy which help gas station obtain competitive advantages. Specifically, this research chooses five factors (product quality, service, price, multi-function, easy entrance) which are believed to be extensively related to repurchasing intention. The findings are as follows; First, four factors associated with gas station choice (product quality, service, price, multi-function) are related to repurchase intention except easy entrance. Second, sex and age have moderating effects between factors and repurchase intention. To keep and preoccupy new customers, the administrators of petroleum industry and gas station should establish sales/administration strategies considering these above.

  • 지진 발생 시 일어날 수 있는 대규모 가스 폭발과 같은 2차 재앙을 미연에 방지하기 위해 천연가스 공급관리소에 설치하는 지진 감지 및 전송 시스템을 개발하였다. 천연가스 공급관리소에서 지진 감지 시스템을 효율적으로 설치하고 운용하기 위하여, 공급관리소의 지반 노이즈패턴 분석을 통하여 지반의 운동을 좀더 정밀히 계측할 수 있는 센서 설치 위치와 설치 방법을 제안하였다. 지진 발생 시 가스 차단 여부를 신속히 판단하기 위해 PGA(Peak Ground Acceleration)와 지진파가 가지는 에너지와 밀접한 연관성을 가지는 Sl(Spectrum Intensity)를 실시간으로 계산하는 알고리즘을 개발하였고 이를 지진 감지 시스템 내에 실현하였다.

위험성 평가를 통한 패키지형 수소충전소 안전성 향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on Safety Improvement for Packaged Hydrogen Refueling Station by Risk Assessment)

  • In this study, the components of packaged hydrogen filling station were analyzed and risk factors were examined. Risk scenarios were constructed and quantitative risk assessments were conducted through a general risk assessment program (phast/safeti 7.2). Through the risk assessment, the range of damage according to accident scenarios and the ranking that affects the damage according to the risk factors are listed, and scope of damage and countermeasures for risk reduction are provided. The quantitative risk assessment result of the packaged hydrogen filling station through this task will be used as the basic data for improving the safety of the packaged filling system and preparing safety standards.

  • The use of fossil is causing enviromental all over the world. So hydrogen energy is attracting attention as one of the alternative. The government announced that 30% of the air pollution is because of the Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle. In addition, they plans to reduce Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles by 2030 and increase (electric vehicles, EV) or (fuel cell vehicle, FCV). The FCV is evaluated as a next-generation green car because it has a long driving distance and short charging time. However, the hydrogen industry is not able to expand due to the lack of refueling infrastrucutre. This paper predicts the site of hydrogen refueling stations for the expansion of the hydrogen industry and proposes a method to supply hydrogen multi energy filling stations.

국내 주유소 토양의 BTEX 오염에 관한 연구 (The study on the BTEX Concentration of Soil in Gas Station)

  • The BTEX contamination of soil around gas station in Korea was investigated in 53 gas stations in 2013 by official test method on soil pollution. Each gas station was divided into oil tank area, line area, and surrounding area. The concentration of BTEX in 1066 sites of 53 gas stations was N.D.~ 3437.36 mg/kg. The order of average concentration for area was as follows: line area ($20.91{\pm}144.79mg/kg$) > tank area ($15.11{\pm}110.08mg/kg$) > surrounding area ($10.79{\pm}111.40mg/kg$). It was the number of sampling site exceeding regulatory levels at surrounding area the most at all. The average concentration of xylene was the highest, while that of ethylbenzene was the lowest.

  • 본 연구에서는 수소충전소에 대한 교육 및 가상체험 프로그램을 구축하였으며, 수소와 안전모듈, 수소 충전소 모듈, 가상현실 체험공간 모듈 및 전문가 그룹을 대상으로 한 사고 시나리오 모듈 4가지로 구성되었다. 본 프로그램을 통해 사용자는 수소충전소 이론과 운전상태를 간접적으로 체험하고, 수소충전소 관련 정보를 습득할 수 있다. 또한 수소충전소에서 발생이 가능한 다양한 유형의 사고 시나리오 체험과 수소충전소의 안전운전과 사고대응을 위한 emergency response plan 및 standard operating procedure를 습득하여 관련 종사자에게 실질적인 사고발생 메커니즘과 그에 따른 대응방안에 대한 교육 및 안전홍보가 가능하다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 버츄얼리얼리티 프로그램은 수소에너지 시장도입에 필수적인 수소충전소 기술개발 및 건설 활성화에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

국내 수소충전소의 적정 용량 분석 (Study on the Optimum Capacity Analysis for Hydrogen Fueling Station in Korea)

  • At present, hydrogen is emerging as a future energy source based on environment-friendly aspect, creation of new industry, and enhancement of domestic energy security. In accordance with it, the world's leading automobile companies are focusing on the development and commercialization of hydrogen electric vehicle technology, and each country is strengthening its hydrogen fueling station deployment strategy for its own country. Furthermore, the supply of hydrogen fueling stations is actively promoting under national support. More than 500 hydrogen fueling stations are being constructed, operated and planned around the world. The introduction of hydrogen energy is also progressing in Korea, by announcing road-map to supply hydrogen electric vehicles and hydrogen fueling stations by year. However, there is insufficient discussion on the capacity of hydrogen fueling station in Korea. Therefore, this study suggests the optimum capacity of hydrogen fuelling station for domestic hydrogen economy.
