3D 가상모델 및 가상착의 시스템을 이용한 남자 운동선수의 상반신 원형설계 (A Development of the Bodice Pattern for Male Sports Athletes Using by 3D Virtual Twin & Virtual Garment Simulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the appropriate surplus of clothing for a suitable basic bodice pattern of Male Sports Athletes by using the 3D virtual twin and virtual garment simulation system. The results were as follows; 1. By using 3D virtual twin and garment simulation, new bodice pattern considered male sports athletes was development. The basic numerical formula were as follows ; surplus of chest girth=9, surplus of back length=1, armhole depth=back length/4+13, half back width=chest girth/5+2.5, front chest width=chest girth/5+3. 2. Wearing test by 3D virtual garment simulation system was useful to evaluate wearing outline, surplus of clothes and garment space. Also it estimated more highly than existing pattern in silhouette and ease amount, confirming that new bodice pattern is appropriate for the male sports athletes. New bodice pattern was evaluated to allow proper space length of chest and waist. Virtual models production through 3D body scan data, pattern draft and virtual garment digital program were applied to prototypic design method so as to enhance the fitness of ready-made garments. This study is expected to serve as one of important basic data for ensuing studies that may utilize 3D Virtual Garment Simulation System with 2D patterns, and also for future 3D Pattern Production Program development.

3D CAD system을 활용한 여성재킷 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A study on simulation of women's Jacket using 3D CAD system)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여성 재킷의 실제착의와 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 재현된 가상착의 A, B 간의 차이를 비교분석하여 가상착의 시스템의 개선 방향을 제안하는 것이다. 연구 방법은 아래와 같다. 기본 사이즈 재킷을 입은 표준사이즈의 피험자 사진을 찍고, 피험자 인체사이즈의 아바타에게 재킷을 가상 착의하여 이미지를 얻었다. 여성 재킷 고객 20명에게 이미지를 제시 한 후 설문 조사 방법으로 외관 평가를 실시하였다. 이 외관 평가에서 실제 재킷과 가상 재킷 A간의 일치정도를 비교했고, 실제 재킷과 가상 재킷 B간의 일치정도를 비교했다. 그 후 실제착의/가상착의 A와 실제착의/가상착의 B간의 외관 평가 차이를 t-test하였다. 그 결과 원단에 대한 1개 항목, 앞면에 대한 9개 항목, 옆면에 대한 3개 항목, 뒷면에 대한 6개 항목에서 외관 평가에 대한 차이가 있었다.

울/폴리에스터 혼방직물의 혼용율과 직물 구조인자가 의류의 입체성형성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Blend Ratio and Fabric Structural Factor Affecting Garment Formability of Wool/Polyester Blend Fabric)

  • This study examined the effect of the blend ratio of wool and polyester fibers, yarn and fabric structural parameters to the appearance property and the formability of worsted fabrics. The mechanical properties of twenty types of manufactured worsted and PET/wool blend fabrics were measured using KES-FB and FAST systems. Garment formability increases with the thickness and cover factor as well as increases with wool content. The correlation between KES-FB and FAST system showed a relatively high correlation with an extensibility of 0.98, bending and shear rigidity 0.71; both were higher than polyester synthetic fiber. The correlation coefficient of garment formability between KES-FB and FAST systems was 0.93 and the correlation coefficient between formability and fabric extensibility was 0.8. These results were higher than those of bending and shear rigidity. This revealed that garment formability was influenced by wool content, cover factor and fabric thickness; however, wool content and fabric thickness were the most important factors for the seam pucker. The garment formability of the worsted fabrics can be predicted by fabric mechanical properties measured from KES-FB and FAST systems.

여성 재킷의 실제착의와 가상착의 비교를 통한 3D 가상착의 시스템 개선에 대한 연구 (A study on the 3D simulation system improvement through comparing visual images between the real garment and the 3D garment simulation of women's Jacket)

  • 본 연구는 20대 여성에 대한 재킷의 실제착의와 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션으로 재현된 가상착의 상태를 디자이너 집단과 패터너 집단이 비교 분석하여 가상착의 시스템의 개선 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 착의 방식에 따른 디자이너 집단의 외관평가 차이 분석에 있어서 앞면에 대한 개 항목 옆면에 대한 개 항목 뒷면에 대한 1개 항목 소매에 대한 개 항목 칼라에 대한 개 항목에서 평가에 대한 차이가 있었다. 착의 방식에 따른 패터너 집단의 외관평가 차이 분석에 있어서 옆면에 대한 개 항목 뒷면에 대한 개 항목 소매에 대한 개 항목 칼라에 대한 개 항목에서 평가에 대한 차이가 있었으며 모든 항목에서 가상착의의 모습이 더 아름답다고 하였다. 착의 방식에 따른 외관평가에 있어서 디자이너 집단과 패터너 집단의 평가가 차이가 있었으며 이는 디자이너 집단과 패터너 집단이 의복의 맞음새를 평가하는 기준이 다르다는 것을 시사한다.

습·건열 열고정 조건이 스트레치 직물의 역학특성과 의류형성성능에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Wet and Dry Thermal Setting Conditions of Stretch Fabric to Fabric Mechanical Property and Garment Formability)

  • This paper investigated garment formability and fabric mechanical properties of one-way and two-way stretch fabrics according to the thermal treatment methods. One-way and two-way stretch fabrics were woven using 75d and 150d PET/spandex covering yarns and then these were wet thermal treated with four kinds of finishing machines. The fabric mechanical properties of these stretch fabrics specimens were measured and compared with the regular PET fabrics. The stretch ratio of one-way stretch fabric was ranged 12 to 26 percentage, 15 to 45 percentage for 2-way stretch fabrics and 4 to 10 percentage for regular fabrics. Garment formability of stretch fabric was superior than that of regular fabrics, in addition, 2-way stretch fabric was better than one-way. The garment formability of the stretch fabrics treated with CPB and Lava wet thermal machines showed the highest values, and the stretch ratio of these 2-way stretch fabrics was also the highest, which was ranged 20 to 45 percentage. This phenomenon was assumed to be due to high extensibility and bending rigidity with low shear modulus of the 2-way stretch fabric treated with CPB and Lava wet thermal machines. It was shown that the garment formability of stretch fabrics treated without dry thermal treatment was higher than that of dry thermal treated fabrics. It revealed that high stretch fabric was available under the condition of low process tension in the wet and dry thermal treatments of the finishing process, which makes high garment formability.

중·고등학생의 여름용 교복 만족도 및 치수적합성에 관한 연구 (Research on the Middle & High School Students' Satisfaction and Fitness of Sizing System for Summer School Uniform)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide information on how to improve both the satisfaction and the current sizing system for the school summer uniform focused on middle and high school students. In order to collect the data, a questionnaire was administered to middle and high school students, and 1,153 data were analyzed. For the satisfaction of their school uniform, there were statistical differences in mean of gender in the design(upper garment) and design & activity(lower garment). On the other hand, students' evaluation of summer school uniform was significantly different in the upper garment(textile, design, activity), and lower garment(design, activity) by school age. For the evaluation of sizing fitness, the length and width of the summer upper garment(blouse/shirts) and the length and width of the summer garments( pants/skirts) were statistical differences in mean of gender or sexuality whereas there were significant differences in the summer upper garment(length, width, the length of sleeve, the width of sleeve, armhole) and the summer lower garment(length, width) by school age.

Comparison of Avatar Posture Formation According to 3D Virtual Garment Modeling Programs -Focusing on Cycling Movements of High-School Male Cyclist-

  • The study aimed to analyze the functional differences in 3D virtual garment programs and compare body scan data with the corresponding 3D virtual models. We selected 3D virtual garment programs, formed virtual models in a representative size for high-school male cyclists, and analyzed them using the Design-X program. The results were as follows. In the 3D virtual garment programs, the anthropometric items for virtual model forming differed significantly from the standard anthropometric items suggested by Size Korea. Comparing the lower body scan data and virtual models formed by the 3D virtual garment programs, the biggest difference was in the shapes of the waist and hips, i.e., the flatness values of the waist and hips were different for each program in the cross-section view. In the lower body, a data-input-based program was needed for changing the exact measurement position of the waist circumference and hips' shape in detail. If a 3D virtual garment program provides functions for the virtual model's joint angle input and free motion transformation, it is expected to be widely used in the sportswear industry.

3D 가상착의 시스템에 의한 비만 중년여성의 토르소 원형설계에 관한 연구 (A Development of the Torso Pattern for Obese Middle-aged Women from 3D Virtual Garment Simulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop torso pattern of Middle-aged obese women by using the virtual twin and 3D virtual garment simulation system. The results were as follows; 1. By using 3D Virtual Garment Simulation, new torso pattern considered obese women was development. The basic numerical formula were as follows ; bust girth B/2+5, armhole depth B/6+5, front waist girth W/4+2+0.5, back waist girth W/4+1-0.5, front hip girth H/4+1+0.5, back hip girth H/4+2-0.5, chest width B/6+2.5, back width B/6+2.5 and back neck width B/20+2.5. 2. According to the results of the new torso pattern's appearance evaluation, it estimated more highly than existing pattern in silhouette and ease amount, confirming that new torso pattern is appropriate for the obese women. Also, new torso pattern was evaluated to allow proper space length of bust, waist, abdomen and hip. Virtual models production through 3D body scan data, pattern draft and virtual garment digital program were applied to prototypic design method so as to enhance the fitness of ready-made garments. 트윈세대의 의복 치수적합성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fitting Size of Tween Generation' Garments)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how the garment sizes by junior brand manufactures reflect Tween Generation's (ages from 5th grade to 9th grade) actual body sizes. They have diverse clothing preferences in styles and fitting levels as well as diverse body sizes and shapes. The subjects of this study were 520 students (the 5th and 6th grades in elementary schools, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades in middle schools) who lived in Jeonju. A questionnaire was used in this study. The data were analyzed by frequency, means, t-test and $\chi^2$. The results were as follows. In the selection of garment size, both the girl and boy students most preferred selecting garments after trying them on by themselves. Boy students tended to select garment size according to their mothers' advice. On the other hand, elementary school students showed a tendency to select garment size with their mothers. In fitting sizes, middle school girls wanted the size to fit tightly rather than loosely on their bodies much more than elementary school girls. Junior brand manufacturers produced sizes that well reflected actual body sizes of elementary and middle school girls. Specifically, the pants best covered their body sizes.

휠체어를 사용하는 성인 남성 장애인의 의복실태 조사 (A Research Study on the Actual Conditions of Clothing of Disabled Men using Wheelchair)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual conditions of clothing of disabled adult men using wheelchair, to understand dissatisfactions and problems in wearing garment, and to construct basic data to development of the formal wear for wheelchair user. This study conducted survey of 162 men using wheelchair who regularly enjoy the sports for disabled people or who work in society. The results of this study are follows. The majority of wheelchair user tend to wear garment lying or seating. Therefore, they prefer garments that can be easily put on and off. They were dissatisfied mostly with the size of ready-made garment. More than 75% of the subjects tend to repair the purchased formal wear. Shoulder width and bust circumference are too small, jacket length, sleeve length, and slacks length are too big for disabled men using wheelchair. More than 93% subjects tend to prefer T-shirts, because of comfort and easiness to move. The men using wheelchair consider the function and the hygiene of fabric material for T-shirts as the important end.
