싸이의 영상뮤직비디오 '강남스타일'은 지난 2012년 7월 15일 세계 최대 동영상 사이트인 유튜브(YouTube)에 공개 된지 161일 만에 조회수 10억 건을 돌파하며, 전 세계 '강남스타일' 열풍을 일으켰다. 싸이의 '강남스타일'이 이토록 짧은 시간에 세계적인 파급을 일으킨 이유는 무엇일까? 학계에서는 이러한 유례없는 세계적 문화 현상에 대해 다양한 분석과 함께 일부 언론에서는 '키치'와 '밈' 이론을 언급하였지만, 그 구체적 검증에 대한 사례가 전무한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 '강남스타일'에 대한 범지구적 대중의 수용에서는 '키치'를 중심으로 알아보았으며, '강남스타일'의 세계적 '확산' 과정에서는 문화복제이론인 '밈'을 통해 분석하였다. 이는 '강남스타일' 현상에 대해 문화의 모방과 전파의 관점에서 종합적이고, 심도 있는 분석을 하고자 두 이론을 차용하였으며, 이를 통해 사회문화 현상에 대한 해석적 방법을 제시할 수 있는 연구라 사료된다. 이를 위해, 문헌과 사례조사를 통해 키치와 밈을 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 분석 조건을 도출한 후 '강남스타일'에 드러난 세계 보편의 대중적 정서와 문화의 확산에 대한 요인에 대해 분석하고자 한다.

본 연구는 싸이의 <강남스타일>과 <젠틀맨>의 성공적 요인에 대하여 선행연구인 음악적인 관점, 정보통신 관점, 안무적인 관점 등과는 다른 관점으로 뮤직비디오에서 인기를 상승시킨 장면들은 어떤 유형이 있는가를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 Q 방법론을 적용하여 분석한 결과, <강남스타일>에서의 장면들에 대한 수용자 유형은 즐거움을 추구하는 유락유형, 전진 발전 유형, 피로해소 유형, 다양한 성인문화 유형으로 분류되었고, <젠틀맨>은 공동체적 군무 유형, 시건방진 춤 유형, 유쾌한 포장마차 유형, 괴롭힘 유형으로 장면들이 수용자들에게 인식되었다. <강남스타일>과 <젠틀맨>에서 발견된 공통적인 장면 유형은 안무유형과 한국에서 볼 수 있는 문화 유형이 발견되었다. 특히 <강남스타일>에서 발견된 장면 유형은 한국적인 문화유형이 많이 내포되어 있는 것으로 파악되었고, <젠틀맨>은 포장마차 유형만이 한국적인 문화유형으로 파악되었다.

이 논문은 한국의 압축도시화의 한 사례이자 표준으로서 서울의 강남이 어떻게 형성되었는지 설명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 강남 및 강남 스타일의 도시화는 유례를 찾아 볼 수 없을 정도로 급속한 도시화가 진행되었다는 점에서, 그 이전의 한국의 도시화 양상 및 서구의 도시와 구별된다는 점에서, 그리고 현대 한국의 삶에 정치, 경제, 문화적으로 매우 중요한 하나의 모델을 제공한다는 점에서 연구의 가치가 매우 크다. 하지만 그럼에도 강남의 독특한 도시성(urbanism)이 어떠한 사회적 조건에서 어떻게 형성되었는지에 대한 연구는 그리 많지 않은 편이다. 이 글에서는 먼저 선망이 되는 물질적 풍경이자 생활양식으로서의 강남적 도시성의 특징을 서술한다. 강남적 도시성은 물질적 공간의 측면에서 중상층이 주거와 자산증식을 위해 소유하는 고급 고층 아파트 단지를 특징으로 하고, 사회문화적 생활양식의 측면에서 정치적 보수성, 사적몰입과 공적 무관심, 학력, 외모, 패션 등에서의 경쟁, 유흥문화 등을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 강남적 도시성의 원형은 한국 반공 권위주의 발전국가 전략의 공간선택성 속에서 매우 짧은 시간에 압축적으로 형성되었다. 즉 그것은 북한과 대치상황 및 서울로의 인구집중 속에서 강북개발과 영등포개발을 억제하고 강남개발과 아파트를 통해 인구를 급히 분산하고 수용해야 했던 반공주의 국가의 필요성, 서민과 도시빈민을 도시개발에서 공간적으로 배제하는 권위주의 국가의 특성, 그리고 예외공간과 가격왜곡을 통해 건설자본과 중산층에 특혜를 부여하고 강남의 아파트 건설과 불균등 발전을 촉진한 발전국가의 선별적 주택산업정책이 결합되어 만들어낸 공간 선택성에 의해 상당 부분 설명될 수 있다.

Cross-culturally, acts of sharing are recognized as an effective method to initiate and maintain human relationships in real-life situations by promoting continuous reciprocal exchanges between donors and recipients. Specifically, this study examines the effects of sharing a media product from the perspective of the givers, as compared to effects on the receivers. "Gangnam Style," a Korean music video, is of interest because it was spontaneously shared worldwide by young adults who used it as a vehicle to build and strengthen social relationships, among young adults. While both the givers and receivers of the "Gangnam Style" benefited from bridging new relationships, the results of this study found that those who gave "Gangnam Style" benefited more in terms bonding already existing relationships, compared to those who received materials. This study provides further evidence in support of the "sender-effect" paradigm and enhances our understanding of how online sharing contributes to the construction of social capital among the young adults.

Objectives : The Purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical application of conservative treatment including hip joint MST for lumbar HIVD(Herniated Intervertebral Disc) and early developed avascular necrosis of femur head. Methods : Patient is hospitalized at Dept. of Oriental Internal Medicine, Jaseng Oriental Medicine Hospital, diagnosed as lumbar HIVD(Herniated Intervertebral Disc) and early developed Avascular Necrosis of Femur Head and treated by herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and hip joint MST. This study was measured by NRS(Numeric Rating Scale), ODI(Oswestry Disability Index) and ROM(range of motion). Results : After conservative treatment, the patient's pain was controlled and NRS score was decreased. ODI and ROM also were improved. Conclusions : As seen in this one case, Oriental conservative treatment including hip joint MST has a positive effect to control pain with lumbar HIVD(Herniated Intervertebral Disc) and early developed avascular necrosis of femur head.

Objectives : The Purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical application of conservative Korean treatment including hip joint MST for Bilateral Sacroillitis with Synovitis in Rt. Hip Joint Caused by Ankylosing Spondylitis. Methods : Patient is hospitalized at Dept. of Korean Internal Medicine, Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, diagnosed as Bilateral Sacroilitis with Synovitis in Rt. Hip Joint Caused by Ankylosing Spondylitis, and treated by herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion, and hip joint MST. This study was measured by NRS(Numeric Rating Scale), SLRT(Straight leg raising test), Patrick test, and Blood test(ESR, CRP). Result : After conservative treatment, the patient's pain was controlled and NRS score was decreased. SLRT score also improved. Patrick test unchanged. ESR, CRP score was decreased. Conclusion : As seen in this one case, conservative Korean treatment including hip joint MST has a positive effect to control pain with Bilateral Sacroillitis with Synovitis in Rt. Hip Joint Caused by Ankylosing Spondylitis.

In 2012, Psy's music video 'Gangnam Style' spread through parodies, and gained explosive popularity. In 2016, there was a case so-called as 'baseball ground cheering song' in which a author(songwriters) claimed an infringement of the 'right of integrity' related to cheering songs used by professional baseball teams. In response, the court denied violating the right of integrity in 2019. These cases have different effects depending on whether or not the 'right of integrity' is claimed. This study attempted an economic analysis in addition to a legal analysis of the right of integrity. Korean copyright law regards even simple changes that go against the author's will as a infringement of the 'right of integrity' even if they do not harm honor or reputation. Such legislation is one of the most strongly protected forms in the world, so it cause many problems. Meanwhile, we analyzed the cost-benefit analysis of Psy's 'Gangnam Style' case and the 'baseball ground cheering song' case. As a result of the analysis, the right to integrity is inefficient in quantitative and qualitative aspects. Therefore, the right of integrity should be reconsidered with the focus on 'popular music'. In particular, considering the development of information communication technology and changes, a revision direction is needed to meet the purpose of the copyright act. Furthermore, in order to solve the legal issues under the Copyright Act, the requirement for infringement of the right of integrity should be relaxed. Then, we proposed the establishment of a proviso clause on the right of integrity.

본 연구의 목적은 문화콘텐츠 상품의 소비 및 확산에 나타나는 시공간적 특징을 밝히는 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 최근 전 세계적 인기를 누리며 확산되고 있는 싸이의 "강남스타일" 뮤직비디오의 확산과정을 분석한다. 특히 싸이의 "강남스타일"이 유튜브에 탑재된 이후 4~6개월간의 지역별 유튜브 조회 수와 트윗 자료 및 구글 검색 수를 바탕으로 이들이 확산되어 나가는 과정의 시공간적 특성을 파악 한다. 분석 결과 뮤직비디오와 같은 문화콘텐츠 상품의 경우 물리적인 공간 거리와 무관할 수 있는 온라인 매체를 통한 확산의 경우도 지역에 따라 전파되는 시점과 전개 과정이 상이함을 확인하였다. 특히 언어, 문화적 연관성 및 한류에 대한 호의성 및 배타성 등으로 정의될 수 있는 문화적 거리가 이러한 문화 상품의 확산에 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다.
