20세기초 4칸${\times}$4칸 교회의 평면구성 및 구조형식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Plan and Structural System of 4 kan(間) by 4 kan(間) Church in the Early 20th Century)

  • This study aims to investigate and analyze the plan and structural system of 4 kan(間) by 4 kan(間) square church built in early 20th century. At that time, three kinds of traditional wooden structure church had been built under the circumstances of transitional era : Basilica style such as Ganghwa Anglican Church, 'ㄱ' shaped style such as Keumsan Church and $4{\times}4$ Square style such as Bukok Church and Jacheon Church that are concerned in this study. Traditional plans and structural system were mixed with new religious function and transformed into korean peculiar style. $4{\times}4$ Square style is a residual product in that process. Despite of it, little concerns on it till now. The results of this study are described as follows. 1. The plan of these $4{\times}4$ square churches is divided into three areas : cathedra($1{\times}1$), attendance($4{\times}2$), and intermediation($4{\times}2$). The location of cathedra is commonly the opposition part of main gate and projected out of the building. Attendance area was also divided into two, man and woman, because of keeping a distance with each other. 2. The structural system of these $4{\times}4$ square churches are somewhat different because of their size and roof style. In the case of Bukok church, $4{\times}4$ square fall off $3{\times}3$ and $2{\times}2$ gradually and turn into paljak(八作) roof, which enable us to get in traditional entering methods. On the contrary, Jacheon church use hipped roof but almost alike pyramidal roof, which could make us not to recognize entering in the aspect of gable part.

한국 미기록 벼과 귀화식물: 유럽육절보리풀과 처진미꾸리광이 (Two new naturalized species from Korea, Glyceria declinata Bréb. and Puccinellia distans (Jacq.) Parl.)

  • 전남 구례군, 광주광역시 그리고 인천광역시에서 미기록 귀화식물 2종을 발견하였다. 유럽육절보리풀로 이름 붙인 Glyceria declinata $Br{\acute{e}}b$.(벼과)는 전남 구례군 구례읍 섬진강 부근과 광주광역시 동구 사동 광주천 부근에서 확인되었으며, 근연 분류군인 육절보리풀(G. acutiflora)과 비교하여 소수의 길이는 15-20mm로 짧고, 호영의 끝부분이 뭉툭한 특징으로 구별된다. 또한 처진미꾸리광이로 이름 붙인 Puccinellia distans (Jacq.) Parl. (벼과) 는 인천광역시 영종도, 용유도, 강화군 초지진 등에서 확인되었으며, 근연 분류군인 갯꾸러미풀(P. nipponica)에 비해 호영은 길이 1.8-2.5mm이고, 엽설은 길이 1-2mm로 더 작고, 개화기 후 화서의 밑 부분 가지가 밑으로 젖혀지는 특징으로 구별된다.

중년기 남녀의 체중 감량 시도 여부에 따른 건강 관련 생활습관과 식행동의 차이 (Relations Among Weight Control Behaviors, Health-related Lifestyles, and Diet Behaviors in Middle Aged Koreans)

  • In this study, we compared demographic anthropometric characteristic, health-related lifestyle and diet behavior among weight control behaviors of 1187 (555 male, 632 female) aged $40{\sim}69yrs$ in Ganghwa country. All the data were analyzed by chi-square test, trend test, student t-test using SPSS 12.0 version at p < 0.05. 'Attempting weight control (loss)' was more in women than that was found in men (36.6% vs 20.7%), and women attempting weight loss most were 40-50 yrs. The reasons of weight loss were 'health problem' and 'health promotion'. Physical activity and diet restriction were commonly employed as weight control methods. Both genders attempting weight loss had a higher education level, BMI, percentage of body fat, waist circumference and physical activity than those not attempting weight control (p < 0.05). In dietary habits like 'meal regularity', 'slow eating' and 'over eating', women attempting weight loss were superior than those who not attempting weight control group (p < 0.05). Eating pattern changes like 'decrease of fats and fatty foods intake', 'vegetable oil usage', 'increase of fruit and vegetables intake', 'decrease of sugar and salt intake' showed significant differences (p < 0.001) between the attempted weight control groups and nonattempted weight control groups. Salt taste was a preference in male non-attempted weight control group, while sour, hot and spicy taste were preference in female attempted weight control group (p < 0.05). Preference for processed foods, fried foods and snack were significant differences (p < 0.05) in women attempted weight control group. Those attempting weight loss tried to improve their eating patterns. However, those attempting weight loss were poorer than the others in health-related lifestyle and eating habit. Therefore, it is necessary to make an effort that improve healthrelated lifestyle and diet behavior in middle aged group.

강화산 순무의 추출 공정에 따른 알코올 분해 효과 (Effects of Alcohol Oxidation of Brassica rapa L. Extraction Process in Kang-Hwa)

  • 순무는 초음파 병행 추출을 통하여 $60,\;100^{\circ}C$에서 모두 추출 수율을 증가시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다. 알코올 분해 효소인 ADH와 Aldehyde 분해 효소인 ALDH의 분해 활성 측정 실험을 통해 순무의 추출물들은 물 일반 추출물보다 초음파 병해 추출물들이 높은 활성을 나타내는 것을 확인하였고 특히 ADH의 활성율 보다 ALDH의 활성이 높게 나타나 알코을 분해 과정의 최종 목적지인 acetic acid와 이산화탄소로의 분해에 순무의 추출물들이 유의적인 활성을 나타내고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. $60^{\circ}C$ 열수 추출물은 $100^{\circ}C$ 열수 추출물과 비교하여 관능평가 시 높은 점수를 얻었으며 이의 추출물들은 감압농축을 통해 이취의 제거가 이루어져 열수추출 시 유용한 방법으로 평가되었다.

저온 생장성이 우수한 분리 미세조류 Tetraselmis sp. 5개주의 생장 패턴 및 지방산 조성 분석 (Isolation and Characterization of Five Isolates of Tetraselmis sp. with Rapid Growth Rates in Low Temperatures)

  • For successful microalgal biodiesel production, the strain should be selected carefully. Fast growth rate and high fatty acid contents are desired traits for algal biodiesel production. In ocean cultivation of microalgae, seawater temperature slowly changes over seasons, and rotating algal strains in accordance with their optimal temperature could improve overall productivity. Additionally, use of indigenous strain is preferred to alleviate potential impacts on the environment. In this study, five strains of Tetraselmis sp. from nearshore of Youngheung Island, Incheon, Korea, were isolated during winter and characterized for their growth patterns and fatty acid compositions in the low temperatures ($5-15^{\circ}C$). The five strains showed various characteristics in optimal growth temperature, fatty acid contents, and compositions. Compared with a strain of Tetraselmis sp., isolated from Ganghwa island in a previous study, a rapid-growing strain with 237% higher biomass productivity and an oleaginous strain with twice higher fatty acid contents at $10^{\circ}C$ were isolated. The oleaginous Tetraselmis strain showed the highest fatty acid productivity among the strains, having 438% higher productivity than the previous strain. Using the new isolates in the seasons with low seawater temperature would improve microalgal fatty acid productivity in ocean cultivation.

2021년 서해권역 실내 바이오플락 양식기술(Bioflocs Technology)로 사육한 흰다리새우(Litopenaeus vannamei) 병원체 모니터링 (Monitoring of Pacific Whiteleg Shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei Pathogens Cultured with Biofloc Technology on the West Coast of Korea, 2021)

  • The advantage of biofloc technology (BFT) in aquaculture is in the prevention of pathogenic transmission. In this study, we performed an investigation on viral, bacterial, and microsporidian parasite infections targeting a total of 194 whiteleg shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei reared in seven BFT-farms on the west coast of Korea in 2021. Hepatopancreatic and cuticular epithelium and pereiopods tissues of shrimp were tested for the four pathogens, Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP), Vibrio parahaemolyticus causing Acute Hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (VPAHPND), white spot syndrome virus (WSSV), and hepatopancreatic parvovirus (HPV). The microsporidian parasite EHP was detected in the hepatopancreatic tissue of BFT whiteleg shrimp in the Ganghwa region, whereas no other pathogenic bacteria or virus was detected on the shrimp in the seven BFT-farms. As a result of bacterial flora in the rearing water of BFT whiteleg shrimp using DNA microbiome technology, V. chemaguriensis and V. alfacsensis were contained at 0.05% and 0.01%, respectively, but no VPAHPND was detected. These findings will serve as a basis for supporting safe BFT-aquaculture of whiteleg shrimp.

프로슈밍지표를 통한 접경지역 기반 남북한 그린데탕트 실천 잠재력 분석 (Measuring the Potential of the Korean Border Area for Green Détente Practice using Prosuming-index)

  • 한반도 비무장지대에 인접한 접경지역은 DMZ(DemilitarizedZone) 그린평화 지대화를 위한 그린데탕트(GreenDétent) 실천무대로 주목 받고있다. 본논문은 접경지역에 계획된 생태·환경 분야 산업·인프라 사업의 복합적 성격을 판단 할 수있는 항목으로 구성된 프로슈밍지표(Prosuming-index)를 제안하고, 이 를 통해 그린데탕트 실천 대상지로서의 잠재력과 방향성을 시각화 하였다. 그 결과, 접경 지역중 인천·강화 지역은 '물류·인적 네트워크 중심 권역이자 특화 농수산물 생산지' 로서, 경기 북부지역은 '스마트기술 활용 산업을 기반으로하는 교류 네트워크 중심권역' 으로서, 강원 서부지역과 경기 연천 지역은 '탄소 감축 기술을 골자로 하는 생산-소비 복합권역' 으로서, 강원 동부지역은 '재생에너지 산업을 통한 유휴·노후 인프라의 그린 인프라 전환권역' 으로서, 크게 4가지 권역으로 그린데탕트 실천 잠재력을 유형화 할 수 있었다.

경기·인천지역 농산업 클러스터 자원에 관한 조사연구 -농산물 생산을 중심으로- (A Study on the Resource and Development Strategies of Regional Agricultural Clusters in Province Geonggi & Inchoen)

  • The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry announced promoting the project, 'Regional Agricultural Clusters,' in Feb. 2004 through 「The Comprehensive Plan for the Agriculture and Agricultural Communities」 and initiated a model project from 2005. The purpose of 'Regional Agricultural Clusters' is to develop regional agriculture by concentrating the resources and capacities of the region and maximizing the effect of integrating related projects. 31 towns in Geonggi and 2 towns (Ganghwa and Ongjin) in Incheon were chosen for the study based on the crop areas of 36 agricultural products from the Agricultural Census in 2000. For those 33 towns, factors such as the top 20 agricultural products, main producing districts and surveys on each towns were considered and we have concluded that these items are good subjects for 'Regional Agricultural Clusters' : We have decided on 18 items for what we call, 'Mini-Clusters,' a cluster in which the item's main producing district is in only one area of the town in question (in 30 projects out of 21 towns). Secondly, we have decided on 11 items for what we call, 'Base-Clusters,' a cluster in which the item's main producing district can be associated by name with the item, the production is sizeable, and can be found in several locations of the town in question (in 13 projects out of 11 towns). Finally, we have decided on 12 items for what we call, 'Broad-Based-Clusters, a cluster which the item's main producing district expands the past the vicinity of the town in question (in 19 projects out of 19 towns).

조선시대(1392-1910) 해일 발생의 시공간적 분포 특성 (Spatio-temporal Distribution of Surges and Tsunamis in the Korean Peninsula from 1392 to 1910)

  • Analysis and prediction of storm surges are very important because the global warming has raised sea levels and increased the frequency of massive typhoons, accelerating damage of coastal flooding. However, the data for storm surge prediction is lacking due to the short history of observation in South Korea. The purpose of this study is to investigate the spatial and temporal characteristics of the previous surges and tsunamis based on the historical documents published during the Joseon Dynasty. In addition, we tried to evaluate the damage and spatial extent of such disasters, using the expressions about surge records including heights and number of administrative divisions. As a result, a total of 175 records of surges and tsunamis were compiled from 1392 to 1910: 145 events were extracted through the analysis of the ancient documents, and 30 events were from the previous research. Most of the strorm surges occurred along the west coast during summer season. More than half of the total surges were concentrated for 120 years from the mid 1600s to the mid 1700s, which was estimated to be highly relevant to the climate conditions in East Asia during the Little Ice Age. Hazardous areas by storm and tidal surges were also extracted, including Asan, Ganghwa, and Siheung during the Joseon Dyanisity period.

강화군 석모도 일대의 선캠브리아기 변성암류 및 중생대 화강암류에서 발달하는 단열계의 분포특성 (Characteristics of Fracture System in Precambrian Metamorphic Rocks and Mesozoic Granites from Seokmo-do, Ganghwa-gun)

  • 강화군 석모도 일대의 선캠브리아기 및 중생대 화강암류에서 발달하는 단열계의 특성이 조사 분석되었다. 노두에서 측정한 대부분의 단열은 경사가 거의 수직이거나 급하다. 빈도등급에 의한 단열 조의 방향성은 다음과 같다: Set $1:N2^{\circ}E/77^{\circ}SE$, Set $2:N17^{\circ}E/84^{\circ}NW$, Set $3:N26^{\circ}E/64^{\circ}SE$, Set $4:N86^{\circ}W/82^{\circ}SW$, Set $5:N80^{\circ}W/77^{\circ}NE$, Set $6:N60^{\circ}W/85^{\circ}SW$, Set $7:N73^{\circ}E/87^{\circ}NW$, Set $8:N82^{\circ}W/53^{\circ}NE$, Set $9:N23^{\circ}W/86^{\circ}SW$, Set 10: $N39^{\circ}W/61^{\circ}NE$ 단열군으로 나타났다. 특히, 단열의 주향(N:240)을 표시한 장미도에서는 남-북~북북동 및 서북서의 대표적인 2 방향을 지시한다. 석모도에서 발달하는 단열의 이러한 분포형태는 기존의 연구에서 시사한 국내의 주요 선구조선의 분포형태와 부합한다. 한편, 단열 모집단의 길이분포에 대한 스케일링 성질을 조사하였다. 먼저 선캠브리아기 장봉편암 및 중생대 화강암류(북부 및 남부암체)에서 측정한 단열 조는 주향 과 빈도수에 의하여 5개 그룹(그룹 I~V)으로 분류하였다. 그 다음, 상기한 5개 그룹에 대한 개개 길이-누적빈도 도표를 종합한 분포도를 작성하였다. 관계도에서 거의 멱법칙의 길이 분포를 따르는 상기한 5개 부집단(그룹 I~V)은 지수(-0.79~-1.53)의 넓은 범위를 보여준다. 이러한 5개 그룹 사이의 지수의 상대적인 차이는 방향성 효과의 중요성을 강조한다. 관계도에서 5개 그룹 중 그룹 Ⅲ의 도표가 보다 상위영역을 차지한다. 마지막으로, 각 암체에 대한 길이 빈도 분포의 특성을 보여주는 분포도를 작성하였다. 관계도에서 각 암체의 도표는 반상흑운모화강암 < 각섬석화강섬록암 < 중립질흑운모화강암(남부암체) < 중립질흑운모화강암(북부암체) < 장봉편암의 순으로 배열되어 있다. 관계도에서 생성시기가 보다 고기인 암체의 도표가 보다 상위영역을 차지하는 경향이 있다. 특히, 선캠브리아기 장봉편암의 도표는 중생대 화강암류의 도표에 비하여 보다 상위영역을 차지한다. 이와 같은 분포특성은 암체의 생성 이후에 작용한 응력장과 부합하는 신규 단열의 발생과 더불어 기존 단열의 성장작용의 공존을 시사한다.
