Game industry demands for talented workers from game scenario writing, graphic design and computer game programming areas, which are the three heterogeneous parts of computer game making. This paper deals with the analysis on the college convergence education, surveying the curriculums of game departments in Korean universities and with how to proceed for game programmers to the direction of convergence education for computer game making. Most of the game departments are focusing on game programming area, whereas only 2 departments among 14 surveyed are teaching the game graphic design topics. Observing the curriculum changes for sampled game departments reveals that around 30% of the majoring classes are directly game related. Game programmers are to be advised to fulfill their programming skill first and later expand their ability to game graphic design skill.

Mighty is an imperfect information game, similar to the internationally popular four-player card game Bridge, but more complex in terms of game rules and operation. An environment for exploring and analyzing the strategy of the Mighty Game is required, but compared to the development of many simulators for strategy analysis of other card games such as Bridge, there is no analysis tool for the Mighty Game. Even the definition and understanding of the Mighty game at the academic level is lacking. To solve these problems, this paper systematically defined the procedures and rules of the Mighty Game. And based on this definition, we implemented a simulator that can learn Mighty game and analyze various strategies. For the usability and accessibility of the service, the simulator was developed with JavaScript, and various analysis functions are provided in the web environment. Lastly, comparative analysis with other trick-taking games dealt with in the related research domain showed that the Mighty game has its value as an incomplete information game and that there are many characteristics that make it easy to apply AI-based learning methods.
Most of the games developed or marketed in the Chinese game market are developed and serviced in foreign countries or are produced in Korea (China) and marketed as services of foreign game companies. If China wants to become the world's game development powerhouse, I think that professional education in multiple methods is the top priority. In particular, I think that a specialized game design department is necessary at a university in China. In this paper, we investigate the game design departments of universities in the United States and the game development powers in South Korea and the Korean game development powers to analyze the educational system of the game design department. Through comparative analysis, a Chinese university finds the necessary elements when establishing a new game design department, and trains advanced game developers in the game field at the Chinese Department of Digital Media Arts. If this study is helpful to the game education in China, it will be studied in the future for the master's program and the doctoral program.

In this paper, we intend to relive game addiction by educating game programming for students that suffer from game addiction. We had analyzed popular games at the present day and extracted factors related to information education from game programming tool. In addition, we had designed the practical lesson plan based on the instructional design model. We had applied the game programming project to students for a year and the results were as follows. First, we verified the drop of addiction propensity by performing the examination of game addiction scale with before and after T-test. Second, according to the results of analysis based on grounded theory, it saved game time and relieved game addiction. In conclusion, this study shows that the game programming project relieved game addiction.
Recently, the number of users has risen sharply while the development speed of the Chinese game industry is rapidly developing. The game industry has already become a promising industry in China's cultural industry. With the rapid development of the Chinese game industry, the demand for specialized game designers and game development personnel is urgent. Still, at present, it is difficult for graduates to get a job at a game company every year even if a new game design department is established at a Chinese university. This may be due to a conflict between the education of the game major in the game market. In this paper, we present a customized development strategy while summarizing the problems that existed in the Chinese game design department in the rapidly developing background of the game industry, Try to provide a valuable opinion. and use it as a reference for the future development of education in the Chinese game major.

The study aims to investigate the effects of social anxiety and self-discrepancy on the internet game flow of adolescents, and to explore the moderating effect of self-discrepancy on the relationship between social anxiety and internet game flow. For this purpose, questionnaires on social anxiety, self-discrepancy and internet game flow were administered to 900 middle and high school students in the Gyeonggi region. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, stepwise multiple regression analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis using SPSS Win 21. The major findings of the research are as follows. First, social anxiety and internet game flow of adolescents showed a significant difference by gender. The level of social anxiety was higher for girls than that of boys, while the level of internet game flow was higher for boys than that of girls. Self-discrepancy showed a significant difference by grade. The level of self-discrepancy was higher for middle school students than high school students. Second, self-discrepancy was the most significant predictor of the internet game flow in adolescents. Also, gender and social anxiety were significant predictors. Third, the moderating effect of self-discrepancy was found in the relationship between social anxiety and internet game flow in adolescents.
Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the computer game usage of elementary school children and their needs for education on the prevention of computer game addiction. Methods: The subjects of this study were 455 elementary school children. The data were collected from an open and structured questionnaire on the subjects' computer game usage and their needs for education on the prevention of computer game addiction. Results: The boys played computer games more than the girls. There were statistical differences in the durations of the computer game use, the main locations of the computer games they played, the times of the day when they used computers, the times of the day when they played computer games, the number of times in a week they visited Internet cafes, what motivated them to play computer games, and their partners in playing computer games according to gender. From an analysis of 714 statements of the subjects with respect to their need to be educated on computer game addiction prevention, six domains and 19 themes were drawn. The six main domains identified were Definition & Status, Etiology & Process, Influences, Prevention, Diagnosis & Coping with Computer Game Addiction, and General Information on Computer Games. This study results revealed that elementary school children have to be comprehensively educated on how to prevent computer game addiction. Conclusion: A computer game addiction prevention program concerning these themes and domains must be developed. A study should also be conducted to identify the educational needs of parents of elementary school children on computer game addiction prevention.
The goal of education and training in military is to foster strong combatants who can fight and defeat enemies. The Korean military is deeply aware of the importance of education & training, and has been introducing various advanced training systems so far. Despite these efforts, however, the military environment to maintain and strengthen the level of training is becoming increasingly difficult. In this study, it was conducted on the effectiveness analysis and utilization of the game system for military education & training through literature review. As a result of literature analysis, the introduction of the game system could be expected to have various effects throughout the cognitive and behavioral areas. Based on this effect analysis, the concept and shape of game system operation for each purpose were derived, and an improved plan using the game system was proposed.
Although computer games seem to be efficient tools for facilitating and supporting situated learning in Europe, GBL(game based learning) is less likely in Korea. The objectives of this paper are to address the causes of the problem and evaluate a serious game for history GBL. We review various cases of history GBL projects in European School Net, commercial games and serious games which are related to history. We draw a demand of our game's structural type, learning criterion, basic model of instruction, and executable prototype from the analysis results. Scene management educators pursue and dependencies of turning points in the history are critical differentiator. An evaluation team of educators, learners, and edu-game managers evaluates that the prototype is suitable model for application in history instruction.
