The closed movement produced vertically on the position of a motor is a notation movement produced by a notation force , while the horizontal movement can be shown by the coriolis force and the transverse force of realizing that the closed movement of the closed system is to be rotation motion. The notation movement is a vertical closed movement and by searching the equation which becomes an equation model, after comparing the simulation data from the equation model with data of a real device to use it into the computer simulation model, the additional variable elements were decided. As the result, the energy imbalance element is added as a variable about load which is relevant to friction coefficient and pole of a motor in the gravitational field. The simulation can be applied as a real physical law of the graphic game and haptic program.

A pneumatically-driven driving simulator that provides a realistic representation of the driving environment was developed. The motion platform for the driving simulator is a mechatronic device that gives a driver the realistic feeling of an actual vehicle. The cost of the motion platform comprises the largest part of the expenses in developing a driving simulator. In this project, to develop a low-cost motion platform, the self-built motion platform based on the Stewart platform configuration that is constructed by six pneumatic cylinders was used as its actuator. The Stewart platform that moves in response to the operating signals of the joystick showed satisfactory tracking performance. We confirmed the possibility of the driving simulator using rFactor that is a commercially available racing game software.
The advancement of touch user interface technology is mostly due to the debut and success of the new user experience (UX), the iPhone. The introduction of Apple's iPhone especially made possible for the user experience to break away from the traditional input device of the mouse and keyboard. It is advancing from the current 3rd generation touch interface technology into the 4th generation non-touch user interface technology. This paper will present a non-touch interaction technology that allows interaction in a three dimensional setting through 3-D space touch. It will analyze current technologies and future emerging technologies.

This paper proposes a method for extraction of the gaze point on display using EOG(Electrooculography) signal. Based on the linear property of EOG signal, the proposed method corrects scaling difference, rotation difference and origin difference between coordinate of using EOG signal and coordinate on display, without adjustment using the head movement. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated by measuring the difference between extracted gaze point and displayed circle point on the monitor with 1680*1050 resolution. Experimental results show that the average distance errors at the gaze points are 3%(56pixel) on x-axis, 4%(47pixel) on y-axis, respectively. This method can be used to human computer interface of pointing device for general paralysis patients or HCI for VR game application.

Most mobile devices provide limited input interfaces in order to maximize the mobility and the portability. In this paper, the author proposes a small cubic-shaped tangible input interface which tracks the location, the direction, and the velocity using MEMS sensor technology to overcome the physical limitations of the poor input devices in mobile computing environments. As the preliminary phase for implementing the proposed tangible input interface, the prototype design and implementation methods are described in this paper. Various experiments such as menu manipulation, 3-dimensional contents control, and sensor data visualization have been performed in order to verify the validity of the proposed interface. The proposed tangible device enables direct and intuitive manipulation. It is obvious that the mobile computing will be more widespread and various kinds of new contents will emerge in near future. The proposed interface can be successfully employed for the new contents services that cannot be easily implemented because of the limitation of current input devices. It is also obvious that this kind of interface will be a critical component for future mobile communication environments. The proposed tangible interface will be further improved to be applied to various contents manipulation including 2D/3D games.
In this paper, we proceed with the design and development platform for the development of the optimized applications to take advantage of the sensing techniques of the mobile device, so that this can proactively respond to the user's needs, and can provide access to a range of services. Ubiquitous environment based smart campus is active rather than passive, university will be able to promote the true personal customizable services. Campus tours through augmented reality will support more active university life in conjunction with a variety of services to promote actively utilizing the QR Code(2-dimensional bar code). In addition, we designed to develop a mobile application that can provide such a view and post announcements such as integrated system, through interoperability with existing bachelor's administrative (legacy) system.

In this paper, we propose a system that can perform dumbbell exercise by recognizing the weight of dumbbells without wearing and device. With the development of virtual reality technnology, many studies are being conducted to simulate the pysical feedback of the real world in the virtual world. Accurate motion recognition is important to the elderly for rehabilitation exercises. They cannot lift heavy dumbbells. For rehabilitation exercise, correct body movement according to an appropriate weight must be performed. We use a machine learning algorithm for the accuracy of motion data input in real time. As an experiment, we was test three types of bicep, double, shoulder exercise and verified accuracy of exercise. In addition, we made a virtual gym game to actually apply these exercise in virtual reality.
With the rapid evolution of communication technology, it became possible to overcome the spatial and temporal limitations faced by humans to some extent. Furthermore, the quality of personal life was revolutionized with the emergence of the personal communication device commonly known as the smart phone. In terms of defense networks, however, due to restrictions from the military and security perspectives, the use of smart phones has been prohibited and controlled in the army; thus, they are not being used for any defense strategy purposes as yet. Despite the current consideration of smart phones for military communication, due to the difficulties of network configuration and the high cost of the necessary communication devices, the main tools of communication between soldiers are limited to the use of flag, voice or hand signals, which are all very primitive. Although these primitive tools can be very effective in certain cases, they cannot overcome temporal and spatial limitations. Likewise, depending on the level of the communication skills of each individual, communication efficiency can vary significantly. As the term of military service continues to be shortened, however, types of communication of varying efficiency depending on the levels of skills of each individual newly added to the military is not desirable at all. To address this problem, it is essential to prepare an intuitive network configuration that facilitates use by soldiers in a short period of time by easily configuring the strategy network at a low cost while maintaining its security. Therefore, in this article, the author proposes a Zigbee-based local strategic network by using Opnet and performs a simulation accordingly.

Smartphone is a mobile device which can perform better than feature phone. Recently, growth in demand for advanced mobile devices boasting powerful performance, market share of smartphone is increasing rapidly in mobile device market, for example, iphone and android phone. Smartphone can provide many functionalities, e-mail, scheduler, word-processing, 3D-game, and etc, based on its powerful performance. Thus, various secret information is integrated in smartphone. To provide service, sometimes, smartphone transmits informations to outside via wireless network. Because smartphone is a mobile device, user can lose his/her smartphone, easily, and losing smartphone can cause serious security threats, because of integrated information in smartphone. Also data which is transmitted in wireless network can be protected for privacy. Thus, in present, it is very important to keep secure smartphone. In this paper, we analyze threats and vulnerabilities of smartphone based on its environments and describe countermeasures against threats and vulnerabilities.
This paper introduces an efficient and satisfactory search interface that enables users to browse and find the video data they want from a massively huge video database widely used in various multimedia environment. The target user group is information analysts at US defense industry or governmental intelligence agencies whose job is to identify a certain person from a lot of video footage taken from CCTV(Closed-circuit Television) cameras. For the first user test, we suggested the CAVE-like virtual reality interface to be the most optimal for the tasks we designed for, so we compared this interface with desktop interface. The softwares and database developed and optimized for each task were used in this user test. For the second user test, we researched on what input devices would be most optimal for enhancing efficiency of search task in the CAVE-like virtual reality system. Especially we focused our effort on measuring the effectiveness and user satisfaction of three different types of devices that embody gestural interface input system that encourages users' ergonomic control of the interface. We also measured the time consumed for performing each task to find out the most efficient input device among the ones tested.
