This paper reports on a contingency framework for selecting the most appropriate strategy to implement the enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system in an organization. The two dimensions of our framework are information technology level and culture level of organization. For each of the four contingencies, we recommend a desirable implementation strategy, based on scope and pace of the implementation effort. ERP implementation data from ten organizations were analyzed to validate the proposed framework.

This study proposes the design method of the shear walls with openings using strut-and-tie models. Strut-and-tie models are constructed for opening near the middle of the wall and for opening near a wall boundary. These enables an admissible load path for the horizontal earthquake force. These models consider the size and position of opening effectively. Each model is suitable for the seismic response corresponding with lateral forces in a given direction to be considered. The proposed models are good agreements with nonlinear finite element analysis(DIANA) results.

논문에서는 전력시장 및 계통의 운영에 따라서 발생될 수 있는 시장참여자들의 편익을 정의하고 최적조류재산(OPF)을 이용하여 편익을 산정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였으며, 이를 이용하여 송전선 투자에 따른 효과를 분석하고, 도매전력시장의 구조에 따른 투자효과를 비교분석 하였다.

Based on the innovation literature, this study has identified nine variables under three categories (technological, environmental, and organizational contexts) and evaluated their influence on e-marketplace adoption and diffusion within organizations. We have also assessed whether level of e-marketplace diffusion is related to the procurement performance of the purchasing organizations.

Controlling nonlinear systems with linear feedback control methods can lead to chaotic behaviors. Order increase in system dynamics due to integral control and control parameter variations in PID controlled nonlinear systems are studied for possible chaos regions in the closed-loop system dynamics. The Lur’e form of the feedback systems are analyzed with Routh’s stability criterion and describing function analysis for chaos prediction. Several novel chaotic systems are generated from second-order nonlinear systems including the simplest continuous-time chaotic system. Analytical and numerical results are provided to verify the existence of the chaotic dynamics.
