  • ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) uses sensors such as camera, radar, lidar and GPS (Global Positioning System). Among these sensors, the camera has many advantages compared with other sensors. The reason is that it is cheap, easy to use and can identify objects. In this paper, therefore, a theoretical formula was proposed to obtain the distance from the vehicle's front wheel to the lane using a monocular camera. And the validity of the theoretical formula was verified through the actual vehicle test. The results of the actual vehicle test in scenario 4 resulted in a maximum error of 0.21 m. The reason is that it is difficult to detect the lane in the curved road, and it is judged that errors occurred due to the occurrence of significant yaw rates. The maximum error occurred in curve road condition, but the error decreased after lane return. Therefore, the proposed theoretical formula makes it possible to assess the safety of the LKA system.

  • A High-degree Cubature Kalman Filter (CKF) is proposed to deal with the Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SDINS) alignment problem. In-flight Alignment (IFA) is an effective method to compensate for attitude errors of the navigation system. While providing precise attitude error compensation, however, the external source aided alignment often creates a nonlinear filtering problem caused by a large misalignment angle. Introduced recently, Cubature Kalman Filter is a suitable technique for various nonlinear problems. In this paper, a higher degree CKF is applied to this accuracy-is-everything SDINS IFA problem. The simulation results show that the proposed technique outperformed a traditional nonlinear filter in terms of precision and alignment time.

  • Extreme tropospheric anomalies such as typhoons or regional torrential rain can degrade positioning accuracy of the GPS signal. It becomes one of the main error terms affecting high-precision positioning solutions in network RTK. This paper proposed a detection algorithm to be used during atmospheric anomalies in order to detect the tropospheric irregularities that can degrade the quality of correction data due to network errors caused by inhomogeneous atmospheric conditions between multi-reference stations. It uses an atmospheric grid that consists of four meteorological stations and estimates the troposphere zenith total delay difference at a low performance point in an atmospheric grid. AWS (automatic weather station) meteorological data can be applied to the proposed tropospheric anomaly detection algorithm when there are different atmospheric conditions between the stations. The concept of probability density distribution of the delta troposphere slant delay was proposed for the threshold determination.

  • The most effective method to overcome GPS jamming problem is to use an adaptive array antenna which has the capability of beamforming or nulling to a certain direction. In this paper, Space Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) beamforming algorithm of four elements array antenna will be designed and the anti-jamming performance will be analyzed. According to the analysis, the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and anti-jamming performance can be enhanced by beamforming algorithm. Also, the time tap effect of STAP algorithm will be analyzed theoretically and verified with array antenna modeling and simulation. Specially, the cautious selection of reference time tap in STAP can prevent the degradation of position accuracy performance.

  • Mobile phone GPS positioning system is a function we often use, which can make user locate his own position all time. But due to lots of inconvenience brought to us by some error existing in mobile phone positioning system, how to accurately position becomes a hot research topic at home and abroad. This paper puts forward a way of precise calculating position. Firstly, take object's image with mobile phone camera; then, process the image to extract and identify object inside; finally, calculate the distance between the object and user with the object's information stored in the database.

  • The pure navigation system using Inertial Navigation Unit(INU) which has very accurate short term stabilities but not long term gives rise to position errors propotional to time. On the contrary, Global Positioning System(GPS) which is bounded its errors to some fixed ranges shows higher accuracy in the long term, and lower accuracy in the short term than that of INS. Recently the integration of these two systems is one of the main topic in the field of navigation system. In this thesis, the implementation of kalman filter on the real time navigation computer and step jump error compensation method is suggested.

  • This letter presents a filter for a car navigation system integrating a low-grade inertial measurements unit (IMU) and a global positioning system receiver. The filter is designed according to the state variables to be estimated and the usable measurements. The usable measurements change from case to case, and the estimative state variables also change due to the measurements; therefore, multiple models must be used for real environmental maneuvers. In this letter, four models for land navigation are chosen and switched by rearranging the system matrix and resetting the error covariance matrices.

  • One of the major sources of error in precise GPS positioning since the turn-off the Selective Availability(SA) is the ionospheric propagation delay. For the last decades, a lot of the ionospheric researches based on a GPS network have been implemented throughout the world. Especially researches of the ionospheric modeling for Wide Area Argumentation System(WAAS) have been undertaken and published. In mid-latitude regions, typical spatial and temporal variations in ionospheric models delay tend to minimal. The developed ionospheric model calls for a 1.25 degree grid at latitudes and a 2.5 degree grid at longitudes. The precise grid TEC estimated by the inversion technique is also compared with global ionosphere maps(GIMs) which have been provided by several analysis centers(ACs). The results of initial investigations into the suitability of the proposed ionospheric modeling scheme in north-east Asia are presented.

  • Pressure sensors are usually used in the measurement of drone altitude in an indoor environment since GPS (global positioning system) signal is not available. In this paper, we propose a new method which uses the Chebyshev filter to decrease a high frequency error in the measured values of the pressure sensor. Considering performance of a drone flight controller, the filter order is limited to the $3^{rd}$ order. We explain the transfer function of the $3^{rd}$ order Chebyshev filter.
