Regional Alternative Navigation Using HALE UAV, Pseudolite & Transceiver (고고도 장기체공 무인기와 의사위성/트랜시버를 활용한 국지적 대체항법에 관한 연구)

  • Global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) is operating widely in civil and military area. GNSS signals, however, can be easily interfered because its signal is vulnerable to jamming. Thus, a sort of backup or alternative system is needed in order that the navigation performance is assured to a certain degree in case of GNSS jamming. In order to suggest a series of backup or alternative system of regional navigation, in this paper, we introduced a high altitude long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (HALE UAV) with pseudolites using inverted GPS and transceiver system. We simulated the positioning error of the regional navigation system using HALE UAV with inverted GPS or transceivers concepts. We estimated the position error of HALE UAV calculate user position errors based on the position error of HALE UAV and general pseudorange error.

  • The longitudinal velocity is necessary for accurate vehicular positioning in urban environment. The pitch angle, which is a road slope, should be calculated to acquire the longitudinal velocity. However, it is impossible to consider very accurate pitch, when using a sensor and an algorithm. That's why process noise and positioning stimation error of IMU should be adjusted to the driving environment and fuse GPS, OBD data with ACF which consist of AKF, CF in this paper. Then, final pitch angle which is appropriate for driving environment is estimated by IMMKF in order to optimize the system model according to road slope models.

  • The purpose of this research is possible to reduce cost of management and maintenance to realization of smartphone and using data server network technology instead of GPS. Former wireless bus information system was focused on supply side management structure and national spread thus it needs to establish GPS terminal, Windows CE, Window XP embedded and LCD panels which provide only one way communication of information of public traffic information. Therefore, former system management and maintenance cost are very expansive. This research is not use GPS terminal and other hardware equipment but design and realization using smartphone and data network server. This system also provides low cost of management and maintenance. It is not only service downtown area but also out of town and small and medium-sized cities. This system functionally gets a satisfying result user convenience and satisfaction using function of set-up route map, real-time display, and running statically analysis.

  • DEM has been used for various purposes overall fields of engineering, the fields of civil engineering, military, communication, environment, and so forth and its applications are being extending increasingly. It is well hewn that LiDAR DEM is definitely superior to the other surveying methods. But LiDAR DEM run short of a full study about vertical accuracy. In order to assess LiDAR DEM, total 35 stations were selected and surveyed by GPS for utilizing as reference data. And then accuracy of LiDAR DEM was analyzed by comparison between both LiDAR DEM and CPS surveying. The RMSE of ${\pm}0.109m$ was shown in vertical direction. It is within the permissible accuracy required for mapping on a scale of 1 to 500 and 1 to 1000 on the mapping rule notified by the National Geographic Information Institute. It is expected that the results of this study will be fully used in the field of large scale DEM generation and be utilized as basic information in applied field of LiDAR DEM.

  • The cadastral surveying is essential for the effective management of a country, the D/B building of NGIS. Many of GPS applications require a positioning accuracy of several centimeters for rover in real-times. But, to achieve higher positioning accuracies in real-time, the double differencing technique should be implemented using carrier phase data. Corrected observations at the reference station can be transmitted and used to form double difference observations at the rover using a data link. In this study, the area accuracy of cadastral survey using the RTK GPS will be assessed, and will produce area of parcel of land. As the result of comparison among area by TS, planer surveying and RTK GPS. parcels-register for site is analyzed by this data. The results show that mean error of area calculated min. $2.42m^{2}{\sim}\;max.\;13.69m^{2}$ and RMSE calculated min. $0.00329\;{\sim}\;max.\;0.01846$.

Deep Learning Based Emergency Response Traffic Signal Control System

  • In this paper, we developed a traffic signal control system for emergency situations that can minimize loss of property and life by actively controlling traffic signals in a certain section in response to emergency situations. When the emergency vehicle terminal transmits an emergency signal including identification information and GPS information, the surrounding image is obtained from the camera, and the object is analyzed based on deep learning to output object information having information such as the location, type, and size of the object. After generating information tracking this object and detecting the signal system, the signal system is switched to emergency mode to identify and track the emergency vehicle based on the received GPS information, and to transmit emergency control signals based on the emergency vehicle's traveling route. It is a system that can be transmitted to a signal controller. This system prevents the emergency vehicle from being blocked by an emergency control signal that is applied first according to an emergency signal, thereby minimizing loss of life and property due to traffic obstacles.

  • 신뢰성 있는 위성합법기반의 위치정보 서비스 제공을 위해서는 오차정보서비스와 항법신호의 이상을 감시하는 서비스가 요구된다. 항법신호 이상감시는 그동안 단일 기준국에 대한 연구 위주로 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 단일 기준국이 아닌 다중 기준국을 기반으로 한 항법신호 이상을 감시하기 위한 소프트웨어를 설계하고 구현하는데 그 목적이 있다. 다중 기준국을 기반으로 한 항법신호 이상감시 소프트웨어는 GPS 메시지를 효과적으로 수집하는 수집부와, 수집된 데이터를 이용하여 다중 기준국에서의 항법신호를 감시하기 위한 알고리즘 처리부로 나누어 소프트웨어의 효과적인 동작을 위해 모듈화를 진행하였으며, 시스템에 대한 안정성 및 확장성을 고려하여 설계하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 단일 기준국에서는 확인할 수 없는 항법신호 이상을 정밀하게 탐지할 수 있게 되었으며, 오차정보 서비스를 제공하는데 있어 기반자료로 활용될 수 있다.

  • This paper proposed CHELS-App that Smart-phone APP optimized cultural heritage experiential learning is configured can learning and sightseeing at the same time with experience the cultural heritage and enjoying the mission through quests to take advantage of the Smart-phone.   • The location based service is divided into GPS that uses the artificial satellite or base transceiver station in order to cover the wide area and RTLS(Real Time Location System) using the Zigbee, RFID, CSS(Chirp Spread Spectrum), UWB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi equipment in the space(close range) limited like the building inside or park. Moreover it also repeats the technical development upon through the acceleration of the development of the wire and wireless infrastructure and determination technology, the development of the Internet, diversification of the contents, and etc. As a result, it is expected to develop around the determination technology, witch is common core technology element, contents technology, Internet and mobile communication technology, and etc. afterward. In this research, the direction we investigate was to find and analyze new technology and standardization trend of LBS in order to contribute to the related industry.

  • In this paper, we developed u-Care service system using technologies of USN and LBS to help construct social welfare infrastructure and social safety net for lone seniors and handicapped people. This service not only monitors the in-house and outdoor activities of those disabled people but also sends the messages, whenever abnormal behaviors are detected, to the people related to them as well as the social welfare organizations and public safety institutions such as police and emergency services and etc in order to alert them.
