A Study of Method and Algorithm for Stable Flight of Drone (드론의 안정화 비행을 위한 방법 및 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • Unmaned Aerial Vehical(UAV) is a flight which is automatically flying by remote control on th ground. However UAV has an advantage of control that is easy, but has an disadvantage of not hovering. By comparison, quadcopter which is one of the UAV is easily operated. Also quadcopter has hovering function and high stability. In this paper, we propose stable flight algorithm associated PID(proportional-integral-derivative) control with fuzzy contorl to implement stable quadcopter system. After getting a positioning information of the drone, This proposed system is implemented for stable flight through flight attitude control using gyro and acceleration sensor. We also propose the flight mode system to hover drone with GPS sensor.

Case Study on the Mixed Layer Development using the UHF Radio Sounding (고도별 UHF 원격 관측을 이용한 혼합층 발달 사례 분석)

  • The GPS radiosonde is designed to conduct a full synoptic sounding to balloon burst using data generated from precision meteorological sensors and the GPS satellite network. The GPS radiosonde include proven, accurate temperature, humidity and capacitance aneroid pressure sensors. The atmospheric boundary layer was intensively observed in three islands of the west sea from 18 LST on March 9, 2016 to 06 LST on March 12, 2016. We investigated the restriction of nocturnal stable layer and rather the development of the mixed layer at night. On March 9, nocturnal mixed layer was developed by buoyancy heat flux. On the other hand, on March 10, the shear production was higher especially at 21 LST when the mixed layer height was the highest during the intensive observation period. The wind shear and the surface heat flux which produce the turbulent kinetic energy played an important role to grow the mixed layer even at night.

  • 본 논문에서는 차량합법시스템에서 위치정확도 향상을 위한 방법으로 GPS/DR 통합시스템을 사용하여 DLM(Dynamic Linear Model) 알고리즘을 적용한 개선된 통합필터를 제안하였다. GPS/DR 통합 시스템의 성능을 개선하기 위해서는 DR 센서의 오류요소를 정확히 모델링 하여야 한다. GPS 로부터 위치를 계산하기 위해서는 적어도 3개 이상의 가시위성이 필요하다. 그러나 도심지에서는 고층빌딩이나 가로수 등에 의한 장애물로 인해서 3개 이상의 가시위성을 확보하기가 힘든 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 가시위성의 확보가 힘든 고층 빌딩이나 가로수길 등에서도 우수한 성능을 보이는 GPS 의사거리 및 의사거리율 정보를 이용하는 CPS/DR 통합 DLM 필터를 이용하여 성능을 개선시키는 방법을 제시한다.

  • As the proliferation of smart phone, almost every user has one's own smart phone, and the user could get the global position and location based services using GPS system outdoors. But indoor positioning system using GPS does not work, and it could not detect global position using TDOA local positioning system. In this paper, a new indoor global positioning system for smart phone employing GPS receiver and electronic compass device is proposed with the TDOA local positioning system using acoustic signal, and the performance and the experimental result are described.

  • Inertial Navigation System(INS) has been used in the field of air navigation for a long time but is not popular in general aviation due to high price. Recently low-price GPS is available but vulnerable to radio interference. As an alternative on these problems, GPS/INS integrated navigation system has been considered. GPS/INS is capable of implementing navigation with low-price inertial sensors but its accuracy is dependent upon how much drift of INS may be calibrated by using GPS. In order to apply GPS/INS to air navigation, it must be investigated how long drift of INS in case of no GPS aiding will be bounded within requirements for safe flight. From the above motivation, the flight test for GPS/INS navigation system was conducted in order to make sense its performance in air navigation and its result was shown.

  • 최근 디지털센서가 부착된 항공촬영용 디지털 카메라를 이용하여 수치영상을 취득하는 항공사진측량 방식을 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지형도제작의 가능성을 분석하기 위하여 1/5,000수치지형도 제작에서 면형방식 디지털카메라인 ULTRA-CAM영상과 촬영당시에 획득된 GPS/INS의 외부표정자료로부터 Direct Georeferencing기법을 적용하여 1/5,000수치지형도(수정)제작에 충분한 정확도를 확보할 수 있었다.

  • Significant advancements in technology enhanced the reliability of navigation systems that are in use today. The GPS is the most widely used technique for satellite-based location estimation. However, systems based on GPS can only be accurate in providing location data when there is a clear view of the satellites. This paper proposes a self-contained navigation system that does not depend on any tracking infrastructure. Using the built-in sensors of a smartphone and a self-contained map, we implemented an accurate car locator. Evaluation results show that our proposed system outperforms GPS in providing accurate car location assistance.

  • A GPS receiver system utilized on satellite launch vehicles should operate normally under harsh environments as well as high-dynamic conditions. The GPS receiver system to use for range safety of KSLV(Korea Space Launch Vehicle)-I that is the first satellite launch vehicle developed by KARI(Korea Aerospace Research Institute) has been confirmed to survive under the environment of the launcher through extensive terrestrial tests including humidity, high and low temperatures, vacuum, sinusoidal and random vibrations, shocks, acceleration, EMI/EMC(Electromagnetic Interference/ Electromagnetic Compatibility), etc. Several performance tests have been also carried out in order to evaluate tracking capability and accuracy of the GPS receiver under high-dynamic conditions using a GPS signal simulator. Some lessons-learned during development of the GPS receiver system and its special characteristics compared with COTS(Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) GPS receiver systems are described in this paper.

  • 본 논문에서는 만성질환을 갖고 있으면서도 일상생활을 하고 있는 만성질환 환자의 응급상황에 대비할 수 있는 u-Health 시스템 구축에 대하여 논한다. USN과 전자청진기, GPS, CDMA 그리고 RFID로 구성된 PHC(Personal Health Care) 장치에 의해 환자의 위급상황이 감지되면 위치정보를 포함한 문자메시지를 병원과 보호자의 모바일 단말기로 전송하여 즉각 대처할 수 있도록 한다. 특히 유비쿼터스 센서로 구성된 기울기/가속도 센서와 진동센서로 부터 수신되는 신호패턴을 분석하여 기절현상 또는 발작 증상과 같은 응급상황 여부를 판단한다. 이 시스템을 항상 주의가 필요한 만성질환자에게 적용시킴으로써 응급 상황에 신속히 대처하여 귀중한 생명을 구할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
