Design and Implementation of the Postal Route Optimization System Model (우편 경로 최적화 시스템 모델 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, related on the postal business with the GIS(Geographics Information System), it discusses design and implementation of the PROS(Postal Route Optimization System) model and its main module, the shortest path generation algorithm, for supporting to postal route managements. It explains examples requirements of postal route system, and suggests the efficient PROS model using our developed shortest path generation algorithm. Because the shortest path algorithm adopts not only consider the Dijkstra algorithm of graph theory, but also the method with the direction property, PROS can be implemented with fast and efficient route search. PROS is mainly constituted of the Shortest Generator, the Isochronal Area Generator, and the Path Rearrangement Generator. It also exploits the GIS engine and the spatial DBMS (Data Base Management System) for processing coordinates in the map and geographical features. PROS can be used in the management of postal delivery business and delivery area and route, and in the rearrangement of route. In the near future, it can be also applied to commercial delivery businesses, guides of routs and traffic informations, and auto navigation system with GPS(Global Positioning System).

  • Satellite positioning technology has been widely used in all kinds of military and civil land, marine, space and aeronautical target positioning tasks, navigation activities and accurate surveying measurements since 90s in the last century due to it advantage in providing all-weather, real-time, three dimensional and high precision positioning information, as well as speed and accurate timing information. By now, it has already formed a new hi-tech industry basically. This paper briefly reviews the development of the global satellite positioning and navigation technologies including the basic information of China′s "Plough navigation system", introduces the history of satellite positioning technology and its major application fields as well as the status quo of this being industrialized trade in China, gives an account of the writers′ vision for the application and prospect of the satellite positioning technologies in China, and approaches the tactics and stresses of the satellite positioning technology′s application and its industrialization future in China.

  • Although underground water resource has relatively less pollution rate compared with surface water, its recovery faces many difficulties due to poor management. Our country monitors underground water to manage it effectively through auxiliary observation network for underground water. In this paper, we suggest water-well auto measure system based on Geosensor for business efficiency increase of water-well management and realtime monitering. In this system is consist of user GUI(Graphic User Interface) composed with water-well information and movement sub-observation network prototype system composed with GPS(Global Positioning System) and wireless sensor node such as water temperature, water level, electrical conductivity. In this system is using the light of the sun for self-power, variety water-well information collected wireless sensor node was a wireless transmitting/receiving a using CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module. Also, for promote with user ease, user GUI express that water-well collected in GIS(Geographic Information System) map. For performance evaluation of the proposed system, we perform experiment using sensing information through designed sub-observation network. And we was proved superiority of the proposed system through qualitative evaluation with other paper.

The Research about Map Model of 3D Road Network for Low-carbon Freight Transportation (저탄소 화물운송체계 구현을 위한 3차원 도로망도 모델에 관한 연구)

  • The low-carbon freight transportation system was introduced due to increase traffic congestion cost and carbon-dioxide for global climate change according to expanding city logistics demands. It is necessary to create 3D-based road network map for representing realistic road geometry with consideration of fuel consumption and carbon emissions. This study propose that 3D road network model expressed to realistic topography and road structure within trunk road for intercity freight through overlaying 2D-based transport-related thematic map and 1m-resolution DEM. The 3D-based road network map for the experimental road sections(Pyeongtaek harbor-Uiwang IC) was verified by GPS/INS survey and fuel consumption simulation. The results corresponded to effectively reflect realistic road geometry (RMSE=0.87m) except some complex structure such as overpass, and also actual fuel consumption. We expect that Green-based freight route planning and navigation system reflected on 3D geometry of complex road structure will be developed for effectively resolving energy and environmental problems.

The Estimation of Debris Flow Behaviors in Injae Landslide Area (인제군 산사태 지역의 토석류 거동 예측기법 적용)

  • A debris flow is caused by torrential rain in mountainous regions and carries mixture of fragmental matter from slope failure, deposit soils from a valley floor and a large amount of water. It seriously damages facilities, houses, and human lives in its path. We tried to apply debris flow behavior estimation model developed in foreign country to domestic case. The study area is Inje-county, Gangwon-do and aerial photos and GPS surveying were used to collect information of starting and end point of the landslide and debris flow. The analysis showed that L/H for forecasting the travel distances of debris flows has the mean of 4.93 and standard deviation of 0.98. This model tended to overestimate the scale and extent of debris flows. In Inje-county's case, a debris flow is caused by multiple simultaneous small-scale landslide. This is quite different from the foreign cases in which a large-scale landslide cause a large-scale debris flow. Thus, an empirical model suitable for domestic conditions needs to be developed.

  • In the case of Drone Photogrammetry, the "pixel to point tool" module of Metashape, Pix4D Mapper, ContextCapture, and Global MapperGIS, which is a simple software, are widely used. Each SW has its own logic for the analysis of aerial triangulation, but from the user's point of view, it is necessary to select a SW by comparative analysis of the coordinate values of geospatial information for the result. Taking aerial photos for drone photogrammetry, surveying GCP reference points through VRS-GPS Survey, processing the acquired basic data using each SW to construct ortho image and DSM, and GCPSurvey performance and acquisition from each SW The coordinates (X,Y) of the center point of the GCP target on the Ortho-Image and the height value (EL) of the GCP point by DSM were compared. According to the "Public Surveying Work Regulations", the results of each SW are all within the margin of error. It turned out that there is no problem with the regulations no matter which SW is included within the scope.

  • 교통주제도는 건설교통부와 한국교통연구원이 ${\ulcorner}$국가교통DB구축사업${\lrcorner}$의 일환으로 제작한 것으로, 국토지리정보원의 NGIS 수치지도(축척 1:5,000)를 기반으로 하여 현장조사 및 문헌조사를 통해 갱신, 보완하여 교통 분야의 활용에 적합하도록 구축한 GIS 수치지도이다. 교통주제도는 현장조사와 문헌조사를 통해 수집된 자료를 기반으로 구축되며 이중 교통시설물조사는 문헌자료(준공도로현황 등)를 참고하여 산정된 조사대상에 대하여 GPS 조사시스템을 활용, 도형 및 속성정보를 취득하는 것을 말한다. 조사항목은 도형정보(노드, 링크) 및 속성정보(차선수, 도로번호 등)이며 GPS 조사시스템과 조사원장(도면)을 이용하여 조사한다. 교통시설물조사와 문헌자료조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 단위도엽(1:5,000기준)별로 교통주제도에 반영되며 최종적으로 전국단위의 통합자료로 구축된다 교통주제도는 사용목적과 축척기준에 따라 단순화되며 이를 교통주제도 레벨이라 한다. 교통주제도의 레벨은 총 4단계로 구분되며 현재 레벨2에서 레벨4까지 구축되고 있다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통시설투자계획, 수요분석, 타당성 평가와 같은 교통분야의 연구를 수행하기 위해 반드시 필요한 자료이다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통주제도보다 더 단순화된 도로망 모델로서 구성요소는 노드(시점, 종점, 죤 센트로이드)와 링크(도로망, 센트로이드 커넥터)이며 도로의 기하구조보다는 논리적 구조(방향성, 노드/링크 연결성 등)에 중점을 둔 데이터이다 교통분석용 네트워크는 교통주제도의 도형과 속성정보를 기반으로 하며 각종 통계자료(도로교통량통계연보 등)를 활용, 구축된다. 교통분석용 네트워크는 구축시점에 따라 현재 및 장래 네트워크로 구분되며 장래 네트워크는 기준년도부터 2031년까지 5년 단위로 계획된 장래도로를 반영하여 구축된다. 교통주제도 및 교통분석용 네트워크는 국가교통DB구축사업을 통해 구축된 자료로서 교통체계효율화법 제9조의4에 따라 공공기관이 교통정책 및 계획수립 등에 활용할 수 있도록 제공하고 있다. 건설교통부의 승인절차를 거쳐 제공하며 활용 후에는 갱신자료 및 활용결과를 통보하는 과정을 거치도록 되어있다. 교통주제도는 국가의 교통정책결정과 관련분야의 기초자료로서 다양하게 활용되고 있으며, 특히 ITS 노드/링크 기본지도로 활용되는 등 교통 분야의 중요한 지리정보로서 구축되고 있다.

  • GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System) is positioning and navigation system using satellites. Accurate positioning is possible in all regions of the world using satellite signals. In Korea, GPS was introduced in the late 1980s. GPS is used in research and work in various fields such as navigation, surveying, and GIS. Since 1995, NGII(National Geographic Information Institute) has installed and operated CORS(Continuously Operating Reference Station) for the practical use of GNSS surveying, RINEX download and VRS(Virtual Reference Station) service was provided for precise positioning. Demand for these services is explosively increasing in the field of surveying. Therefore, there is a need for research to provide good service. In this study, status of national surveying infra structure was researched focused on CORS and its services. As a results, current status of CORS and service were presented. Users of VRS service has increased greatly. In order to provide stable service and advanced surveying, it is necessary to continuously upgrade services such as providing services for various GNSS satellites and securing stability through server redundancy in the data center.

Development of an Autonomous Tractor System Using Remote Information Processing (원격 정보처리를 이용한 자율주행 트랙터 시스템의 개발)

  • An autonomous tractor system was developed and its performance was evaluated. The system consisted of a tractor system of and a remote control station. The tractor and the remote control station communicated each other via wireless modems. The tractor had a DGPS(differential global positioning system), sensors, a controller and a modem. The DGPS collected position data and the tractor status was estimated. The information of tractor status and sensors was transferred to the remote control station. Then, the control station determined the control data such as steering angles using a fuzzy controller. The fuzzy controller used the information from the DGPS, sensors, and GIS(geographic information system) data. The control data were obtained by remote signal processing at the control station The control data for autonomous operation were transferred to the tractor controller. The performances of an autonomous tractor were evaluated for various speeds, different initial positions and different initial headings. About 1.3 seconds of time lag was occurred in transferring the tractor status data and the control data. Compensation the time lag, about 27cm deviation was observed at the speed of 0.5m/s and 37cm at the speed of 1m/s. Error caused mainly by the time lag and it would be reduced by developing a full-duplex radio module for controlling the remote tractor.

Direct Geo-referencing for Laser Mapping System

  • Contrary to the traditional text-based information, 4S(GIS,GNSS,SIIS,ITS) information can contribute to the citizen's welfare in upcoming era. Recently, GSIS(Geo-Spatial Information System) has been applied and stressed out in various fields. As analyzed the data from GSIS arena, the position information of objects and targets is crucial and critical. Therefore, several methods of getting and knowing position are proposed and developed. From this perspective, Position collection and processing are the heart of 4S technology. We develop 4S-Van that enables real-time acquisition of position and attribute information and accurate image data in remote site. In this study, the configuration of 4S-Van equipped with GPS, INS, CCD and eye-safe laser scanner is shown and the merits of DGPS/INS integration approach for geo-referencing is briefly discussed. The algorithm of DGPS/INS integration fur determination of six parameters of motion is eccential in the 4S-Van to avoid or simplify the complicated computation such as photogrammetric triangulation. 4S-Van has the application of Laser-Mobile Mapping System for three-dimensional data acquisition that merges the texture information from CCD camera. The technique is also applied in the fields of virtual reality, car navigation, computer games, planning and management, city transportation, mobile communication, etc.
