  • Supply chain including transportation expend the 21% of domestic energy consumption. It is necessary to diminish the excess energy usage at entire supply chain. This paper deals with the application of MFCA(Material Flow Cost Accounting) for SCM to save energy consumption. We construct the material center corresponding to each logistics function in order to apply the MFCA for GCM(Green Chain Management). We also construct the MFCA framework which consists of MFCA Database Management, MFCA Visualization, GCM Data Integration, GCM Data Tracking, and MFCA Data Predict & Assignment. We expect to help determining the range of logistics function to apply the MFCA for GCM.

  • Purpose: This study was designed to determine whether General Coordinative Manipulation (GCM) Intervention Models have effects on the balanced restoration of asymmetrical muscles in the extremities. Methods: Fifty-nine healthy subjects (1st hypothesis: n=40, 2nd hypothesis: n=19) participated in studies using the two GCM intervention models. Subjects were studied 2 times a week for 3 weeks. Electromyography (EMG) was used to measure muscle activity, and measurements were performed before and after the application of the each intervention model. Results: Hypothesis 1: GCM Intervention, which coordinates flexion types of muscle contractions of the upper extremity and extension types of muscle contractions of the lower extremity (excluding self-care) is effective for treating shows the treatment in efficiency on more than two 2 of 3 muscles (vastus medialis, gastrocnemius medial, and deltoid middle) and the effects affects on more than 3 types of 4 body types (Vastus medialis, Gastrocnemius medial of Body type III, p<0.05). GCM body type was classified by the relative tilting of right and left scapulars and iliums into four groups. Hypothesis 2: GCM Intervention, which coordinates flexion types of muscle contractions of the lower extremity and extension types of muscle contractions of the upper extremity (excluding self-care) is effective for treating more than two 2 of 3 muscles (vastus medialis, gastrocnemius medial, and deltoid middle) and the effects affects on more than 2 types of 3 body types (p>0.05).

  • The majority of projections of future climate come from Global Circulation Models (GCMs), which vary in the way they were modeled the climate system, and so it produces different projections about conceptualizing of the weather system. To implement climate change impact assessment, it is necessary to analyze trends of various GCMs and select appropriate GCM. In this study, climate data in 25 GCMs 41 outputs provided by Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5) was downscaled at eight stations. From preliminary analysis of variations in projected temperature, precipitation and evapotranspiration, five GCM outputs were identified as candidates for the climate change impact analysis as they cover wide ranges of the variations. Also, GCM outputs are compared with trends of HadGCM3-RA, which are established by the Korean Meteorological Administration. From the results, it can contribute to select appropriate GCMs and to obtain reasonable results for the assessment of climate change.

  • This study investigated the effect of generative concept maps according to learning achievements and cognitive load. A total of 78 students in the first grade of middle school participated in this study. Before the experimental treatment was implemented, students had to fill out a questionnaire assessing prior knowledge. The study was designed where all the students were presented the same learning contents regarding photosynthesis; however, the two experimental groups were provided with different concept map methods: a learner-generative concept map (GCM) and an instructor-provided concept map (PCM). GCM students were asked to make a concept map by themselves in small groups while they are reading material. PCM students were instructed to study in small groups in order to read the material; however, they were provided a concept map developed by their teacher. The control group (CG) had the teacher present the learning contents in traditional lecture format with no accompanying concept map. The results show that there were significant differences in the achievements among the groups. CG showed higher achievement than both the experimental groups. There was also a significant difference in cognitive load. Although the GCM group did not obtain higher achievement than the other groups, the GCM group showed higher mental effort and lower physical fatigue than the other groups. The GCM group might have invested more effort to find and connect ideas when drawing their concept map with peers which is unlike the conditions for the PCM group and CG. In conclusion, we should consider applying GCM in teaching and learning design in order to increase learning achievement and decrease extraneous cognitive load.

  • Background: The gastrocnemius (GCM) is one of the lower extremity muscles that tend to tighten easily. GCM tightness results in limited ankle dorsi-flexion (DF), especially when the knee joint is fully extended. Joint flexibility is determined by the morphological and physiological characteristics of joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Impaired joint flexibility can be attributed to increased susceptibility to muscle injury. High-frequency diathermy is clinically used to reduce pain and muscle tightness and to improve limited range of motion. Objects: This study aimed to investigate the immediate effects of high-frequency therapy in subjects with GCM tightness. Methods: The study was designed as a one-group before-after trial. The subjects included 28 volunteers with GCM tightness (an active ankle DF angle of less than 12°) without any known neurological and musculoskeletal pathologies in the ankle and calf areas. WINBACK Transfer Electrode Capacitive and Resistive Therapy equipment was used to apply high-frequency therapy to the subjects' GCMs for 10-15 minutes. The pennation angle and the fascicle length of the GCM were measured using ultrasonography. The flexibility of the ankle joint, peak torque to the passive ankle DF (Biodex), and soft tissue stiffness (MyotonPRO) were also measured. Results: The pennation angle was significantly decreased following the treatment; however, no significant difference in the fascicle length was found (p < 0.05). The flexibility was significantly increased and both the passive peak torque to passive ankle DF and the soft tissue stiffness significantly decreased (p < 0.05). Conclusion: High-frequency therapy is immediately effective for improving the muscle's architectural properties and functional factors in subjects with GCM tightness. Further longitudinal clinical studies are required to investigate the long-term effects of high-frequency therapy on subjects with GCM tightness from various causes.

  • Climate change mainly due to the increase of green house gases cause different patterns of water cycle within the basin. However, it is common that current planning and management practices do not consider the effect of the climate change. So, this study evaluated the effect of climate change on the water circulation within the watershed. This study used several GCM simulations for the double $CO_2$condition for the generation of temperature and rainfall series using the Markov chain. Daily runoff series for 100 years were generated using a rainfall-runoff model. As results. annual temperature increase by +3.2 ∼+4.6$^{\circ}C$, annual precipitation change -7 ∼ +8 %, annual runoff change -14 ∼ +7 %, and potential evapotranspiration amount change +3 ∼+4 % for the change of 1 $^{\circ}C$ are found to be expected depending on GCM simulations. Even though the simulation results are very dependent on the GCM predictions considered, overall variability of runoff is expected to become higher than the current state.

  • Objectives : This study was designed to analyze whether General Coordinative Manipulation(GCM) Intervention could have effects on the balanced restoration of asymmetrical posture. Methods : Sixty eight(68) healthy volunteers(1st hypothesis: 46, 2nd hypothesis 22) participated in two GCM interventions, which have been performed 2 times a week for 3 weeks. The Global Postural System(GPS) Unit was used to measure the posture, and measurements were performed before and after the application of each intervention group. A paired t-test and wilcoxon test were used to determine the statistical significance. Results : The outcome of examining the hypothesis is as follows: 1. The 1st hypothesis: It has been proved that GCM Intervention, which coordinates the flexion type of upper extremity and the extension type of lower extremity, excluding self-care, shows the efficiency in treatment on more than two aspects of 3 parts: anterior, posterior and lateral postures, and the effects on more than 3 of 4 body types. 2. The 2nd hypothesis: It has been proved that GCM Intervention, which coordinates the flexion type of lower extremity and the extension type of upper extremity, excluding self-care, shows the treatment in efficiency on more than two aspects of 3 parts: anterior, posterior and lateral postures, and the effects on more than 2 of 3 body types. Conclusions : GCM intervention programs on the two hypothesis groups have an affect on the balanced restoration of the postural control system.

TOPSIS(Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)를 이용하여 편이 보정기법들의 성능에 있어서 우선순위를 선정하였다.
