블렌디드 러닝기반 기초수학 수업에서 자기효능감, 자기조절학습이 학습지속의향에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self Efficacy and Self-Regulated Learning on Learning Persistence in Blended Learning Based Basic Mathematics Class)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the variables that learners should consider for learning persistence when applying blended learning to mathematics class which is a basic curriculum of engineering college. For this purpose, this study compared the basic mathematics class with the blended learning and the class without it. In addition, this study analyzed the influence of the learning outcomes of the blended learning on the willingness to learning persistence by using the self-efficacy and self-regulated learning variables that can predict it. As a result, it was found that the blended learning applied mathematics class of K university which is the subject of analysis in this study has higher self - efficacy, self - regulated learning, and learning persistence intention than general classroom. Finally, the results of this study are meaningful to provide the points to be considered for improving the learning performance when applying the blended learning to the subject class in the future.

응급구조과 학생의 자기주도학습, 학습몰입, 학업적 자기효능감과 학업성취도의 관계 (The relationship between self-directed learning, learning flow, self-efficacy, and academic achievement in the department of emergency medical technology students)

  • Purpose: The study investigated the effects of self-directed learning, learning flow, and academic self-efficacy variables on academic achievement. Methods: This is a descriptive correlation study to understand the effects of self-directed learning, learning flow, and academic self-efficacy on academic achievement. Results: There is a significant positive correlation between the participants' self-directed learning, learning flow, academic achievement, and academic self-efficacy. Self-directed learning and learning flow influenced academic achievement, while academic self-efficacy was found to have a partial mediating effect. As indicated above, academic self-efficacy and self-directed learning were significant predictors of academic achievement. Conclusion: The study results can be used as basic data to conduct future studies. Furthermore, results can inform the development of educational programs that enhance self-directed learning, learning flow, and academic self-efficacy to improve students' academic achievement in the department of emergency technology.

Self-Care in Elders with Dementia: A Concept Analysis

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept of self-care in elders with dementia through a review of nursing literature and to provide more understanding of the definition and perspectives of the concept of self-care notion in elders with dementia. Methods: The technique developed by Walker and Avant was used as a guide in analyzing the concept of self-care. Results: Attributes of self-care in dementia may include a single or group of actions needed for sustaining life, a personal effort to maintain functional independence while minimizing other's assistance, an outcome behavior from the person's interaction with inter-personal and/or contextual environment, and a functional ability that may decline in parallel to cognitive impairment. Antecedents of self-care in dementia may include at least presence of a certain degree of cognitive appraisal for the self-care needs, self-willingness for the self-care action, spatial and visual orientation, cultural pre-conception of the self-care behavior, presence of environmental context/equipment available for self-care, and sufficient time available. The consequences may include sustaining of life, feel of satisfaction, achieving independence, extended life expectancy, increased self-confidence, decreased caregiver distress and/or burden, savings in health care costs. Discussion: Defining attributes and antecedents and consequences of self-care in dementia identified in this study provided empirical ground of a middle-range theory of self-care for a clinical population with dementia and generated possible hypotheses to be tested in future studies.

창업교육이 대학생의 창업효능감과 시간관에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Relationships between Time Perspective of College Students and Entrepreneurial Self-Efficacy)

  • 개인의 창업효능감과 시간관은 동기부여 및 목표지향적 행동에 영향을 주는 요인이다. 창업을 결정하거나 창업을 준비하는 과정은 현재보다는 미래에 대한 준비과정이다. 이 과정에서 개인이 가지고 있는 창업효능감과 시간관은 중요한 영향요인이 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 먼저 창업교육 참여여부에 따라 창업효능감과 시간관의 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 그리고 개인의 창업효능감과 시간관이 서로 어떤 관계가 있는지를 분석하고, 이후 창업교육 참여여부에 따라 이 관계에서 차이가 있는지를 비교분석하였다. 조사를 위해 창업 및 경영관련 수업에 참여하고 있는 대학생 190명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업교육 참여자들의 창업효능감이 미참여자들의 창업효능감 보다 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 개인의 시간관에 따라 창업효능감에 미치는 영향을 검증하였다. 과거부정수준 및 현재 숙명수준이 낮을수록 창업효능감이 높게 나타났으며, 현재쾌락수준 및 미래지향 수준이 높을수록 창업효능감이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 개인의 시간관을 짐바르도의 시간관 유형(과거부정, 과거긍정, 현재숙명, 현재쾌락, 미래지향적 시간관)에 따라 구분하여 차이를 살펴본 결과, 창업교육을 경험할수록 현재쾌락과 미래지향 시간관과 같은 창업효능감과 정(+)의 관계에 있는 시간관이 상대적으로 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 학문적 의의와 시사점, 한계점을 제시하였다.

암환자가 지각하는 원인지각과 자기효능에 관한 연구 (A Study on Causal Attribution and Self-Efficacy in the Patients with Cancer)

  • When people undergo stressful situations such as a cancer diagnosis, they ask, "why me\ulcorner" The causal attributions people make about cancer influence what kind of coping strategies are chosen. Weiner (1979) suggested three dimensions of causal attributions: focus of causality, stability, and controllability. The purpose of the present study was to test the relation between causal attributions and self-efficacy in patients with cancer. The subjects were 194 patients who had been diagnosed cancer one year ago and attended an outpatient clinic. 1. Each mean score of causal attribution dimensions (focus of control, stability, controllability) that each patient made about cancer was 2.47, 2.73, 2.86, 3.35, and 3.28. The mean score of self-efficacy was 71.03. 2. There was a significant negative correlation between self efficacy and controllability. Particularly, there was a significant negative relationship between self efficacy and external controllability. Based upon these results, it is recommended that the developing nursing interventions to change causal attribution and self-efficacy is necessary. A number of theoretical relationships and empirical finding are confirmed by this data, and future proposals in research is suggested.

자아존중감, 가족기능 및 사회적 지지가 대학생의 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Self-esteem, Family Function and Social Support on Stress in Undergraduate Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate self-esteem, family function, and social support which might influence stress in college students. Method: Data were collected from October 15 to December 20, 2007 when 411 students completed a questionnaire which included Self-esteem scale, Family APGAR questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support and Global Assessment of Recent Stress scale. The collected data was analyzed with the SPSS Win 14.0 statistics program. Results: The scores for stress showed significantly negative correlations with the scores for self-esteem (r= -.394, p<.001), family function (r= -.215, p<.001), and social support (r= -.249, p<.001). Self-esteem, family function and social support by friends were significant predictors and accounted for 18.5% of the variance in stress in undergraduate students. Conclusion: Future stress management programs for undergraduate students should be developed to reinforce self-esteem, family function and social support by friends.

COVID-19 상황에서 대학생의 외로움이 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과 중심으로 (Effect of loneliness on life satisfaction among university students during the COVID-19 pandemic: Focus on the mediating effect of self-efficacy)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of self-efficacy between loneliness and life satisfaction among university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study administered a questionnaire survey of 282 college students enrolled in universities located in K area. Structural equation modeling analysis was utilized to examine the relationships of variables. The questionnaire included the life satisfaction, loneliness, and self-efficacy scales. Results: The results showed that loneliness had a negative correlation with life satisfaction and self-efficacy. Self-efficacy had a positive correlation with life satisfaction. The study confirmed that loneliness had a partial mediating effect on life satisfaction through self-efficacy. Conclusion: The study discussed ways of enhancing the life satisfaction of university students, the implications of the study findings, and suggestions for future research.

온라인대학 노인학습자들의 삶의 경험 (Lived Experience of Older Learners in an Online University)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 정규학위 과정의 온라인대학에 다니는 노인학습자들의 삶의 경험을 묘사하고 이해하는 것으로 질적 연구방법론을 적용하여 노인학습자들이 대학에서의 학업에 대해 해석하고 의미하는 바를 고찰하였다. 자료는 사이버대학에 입학하여 학업을 수행하고 있는 서울과 수도권 지역에 거주하는 10명의 노인들과의 심층면접을 통해 수집되었다. 사이버대학에서의 노인학습자들의 학업경험에 대한 분석 결과 과거의 자아, 관행 깨뜨리기, 새롭게 도전하기, 자기실현을 얻기, 새로운 정체성으로 통합됨, 미래지향적 자아라는 6개의 중심주제가 파악되었다. 결론적으로 참여자들은 온라인대학에서의 학업의 경험을 통해 과거지향적인 자아감에서 더욱 긍정적이고 미래지형적인 자아감으로 변화한 것으로 나타났다.

부산, 울산지역 기독교여성의 유방 자가검진 이행 예측요인 (Predictors of the Compliance of Breast Self-Examination among Christian Women in Pusan and Ulsan Areas)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factors on the compliance of breast self-examination (BSE) among 205 Christian women living in Pusan and U1san areas. Structured self-administered questionnaires were used. Knowledge levels were measured by the instrument developed by Choi(l996). Self- efficacy and health belief were measured by the instruments developed by Champion (1993) and modified by Choi(1996). Women who did BSE more than once within 6 months were categorised as compliant. Data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t- test, χ² test and logistic regression analysis using SPSS WIN program. The results of this study were summarized as follows; 1. 15.1% of women performed the BSE at least once during the last 6 months. 2. Non-complier and compliant women showed statistically significant differences in the level of self efficacy and barriers. 3. Predictors of BSE compliance were ‘history of having breast disease’, ‘experience of receiving recommendation for BSE’, ‘barriers’, and ‘experience of meeting with breast cancer patients’ and explained 14.8% of variance in compliance of BSE. For future clinical practice, health professionals, including nurses, need to actively suggest to women the importance of BSE, and to distribute the information through posters and pamphlets at clinics and public health centers. Including the opportunity to meet patients in health education centers can be another strategy to increase women's motivation for BSE. For future research, it is necessary to recruit women from broader geographic areas utilizing various sources such as community centers to increase generalizability of the findings.

호텔종사자의 전공학습이 직무성과에 미치는 영향 자기 효능감의 매개효과 (The Effect of the Concentration of Hotel Employees on Job Performance Mediating effect of self-efficacy)

  • 본 연구는 호텔종사자를 대상으로 입사 전 전공관련 학습이 자기효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치며 종사원의 직무성과간의 관계를 실증분석 하였다. 국내 L호텔을 종사원을 대상으로 설문지 300부를 배포하여 267부의 설문지를 회수하였으나 불성실한 설문지 17부를 제외하고 최종적으로 250부를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과 호텔종사자의 경우 호텔관련 전공학습은 자기효능감에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며 자기효능감은 전공학습과 직무성과간 매개역할 하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 산학 연계 프로그램의 개발을 통한 실무형 전공학습은 호텔업계를 비롯한 타 업계의 취업 시 종사원의 업무 적응도를 높이고 나아가 종사원들의 자기효능감을 상승시켜 궁극적으로 직무 성과에 영향을 미칠 것이라 생각된다. 향후 국내 특급호텔 및 중저가호텔 종사자들을 대상으로 연구대상의 확대가 이뤄지고 인턴연계수업이 진행되는 호텔 종사원에 대한 자기효능감과 취업 후 직무성과간 연구가 이뤄지길 기대해본다.
