Information service for the aged is a new challenge for public libraries in Korea. To develop an internet-based information service at public library perspectives, information sources, information need, and information seeking and using behavior are investigated. Interview survey is performed to 1060 adults aged 60 and over. Finding revealed that the respondents led to few channels to information except for mass media and informal oral communication. It ascertain ways in which 23% of the respondents currently use internet, and identify barriers of nonusers. The information need of the elderly are diverse, but health/medicine, news, hobbies, religion, leisure/travel are most identified need in descending order. Based on data analysis and previous research results, a cooperative service model consisting of information contents, online reference, interface design, and education is developed. Finally problems and suggestions for future improvement are discussed.

Fiction is a collection that most students read and borrow in school libraries. KDC has several limitations when students look for fiction books they need. In line with this, we surveyed various cases of fiction classifications used in libraries, bookstores, and publishers and use behaviors of fiction of middle school students. Based upon the result of the surveys, we proposed a better way of classifying fiction books according to user needs. In addition to the KDC number, color bands were attached according to genres so that users could easily find the desired books. These suggestions and other information will enhance the accessibility and discoverability to fiction books for middle school students and may be used as reference materials for fiction classification in libraries, bookstores, and publishers in the future.

Objectives: The abdominal examination is a diagnosis method for determining a morbid condition of the chest and abdomen by touching and pressing. This study reviewed research trends concerning the abdominal examination and suggested of future research directions for quantification of abdominal examination. Methods: A systematic literature search was carried out for relevant articles published between 2000 and 2016 in five databases such as Korean studies Information Service System(KISS), Oriental Medicine Advanced Searching Integrated System(OASIS), DataBase Periodical Information Academic (DBpia), National Digital Science Library and PubMed based on the Keywords 'abdominal examination'. Results: 128 articles were collected for analysis. Overview on the abdominal examination based on selected 17 articles. Then selected articles have been reclassified by diseases of clinical research and parameters for diagnosis of abdominal examination. Conclusions: Taken together, instrument for quantitative evaluation of abdomen characteristic fit to the traditional Korean Medicine have not yet developed. It is suggested that in order to dominate the market about abdominal examination in advance, more concern should be paid to establishing appropriate development of quantitative criteria and instrument. This review will help researcher to systematically understand and to develop Korean medical device as globally competitive device.

This study aims to investigate the current state of digital reference services using electronic bulletin boards in Korean academic libraries and to suggest improvements. Through the examination of 205 academic library websites, 56 libraries were identified to use electronic bulletin for digital references. The digital reference service questions and responses from four libraries were further analyzed: the types of reference question, the structure and accuracy of answers, and digital reference completion time. The implications of this study for future research and practice lie in its provision of a systematic way to design practical guidelines for virtual reference services.

1) Purpose : The purpose of this research is to identify the trend of job stress of hospital nurses based on last 10 years of domestic research and to suggest directions for systematic future research. 2) Methodology : 101 studies between 2006 and 2016 were selected using key words such as registered nurse and job stress from Academic Information Service(Riss4u), the National Assembly Library and Korean studies Information Service System(KISS). 3) Findings : The researches on job stress of hospital nurses were increasing. The result showed that job stress increased for shift nurses. Especially, nurses of small-medium sized hospital showed remarkable effects to organization such as turnover intention. In addition, although the importance of approach to management is emphasized, there is little research on these aspects. 4) Practical Implications : It is necessary to develop systematic research on job stress directly effecting turnover intention of hospital nurses from hospital management aspect. The development of job stress measuring tools reflecting the characteristics of the medical institution, and the human resources management plan to resolve the imbalance in manpower for nurses should be required.

Remote and robotic telescopes are the most effective instrument for astronomical survey projects. The system is based on the dynamic operation of all astronomical instruments such as dome and telescope control system (TCS), focuser, filter wheel and data taking camera. We adopt the ASCOM driver platform to control the instruments through the integrated software. It can convert different interface libraries from various manufacturers into a uniform standard library. This allows us to effectively control astronomical instruments without modifying codes. We suggest a conceptual design of software for automation of a small telescope such as the new wide-field 0.25m telescope at McDonald Observatory. It can also be applied to operation of multi-telescopes in future projects.

The remodeling of apartment that improves the improves the life level is going to be in the market because of lots of old apartment buildings. Until now, the research of remodeling is mainly restricted to the laws and financial funding, however, the needs in the trend of remodeling. This research, first, through the examples of remodeling in the country, this study draws remodeling factors that can be applied. Secondly, this study targets the study of remodeling to apartments and analyzes the type of housings made by the Korea National Housing Corporation. Thirdly the study analyzes the features that appear in housing units and draws out factors of remodeling This research's result Is arranged as follows. \circled1Need Remodeling thorough study of space expanded, grant between artificer and active performance improvement direction such as building equipment expansion along with Remodeling concept of unit repair. \circled2When apartments are newly built, systematic construction is necessary that considers future efficiency improvement from the design stage. \circled3This study, which applied the characteristic factors appearing after the 1990s to remodeling factors, show that they can be applied when remodeling the worn out wall-slab type apartments.

The introduction of the digital media changed 21 century at time of database paradigm and the database paradigm called forth a big change in production process and industry of the animation. One of the characteristics of animation is that it has to newly produce all of the images. But due to the introduction of digital technology, the original copy of those images produced for animation can be saved. Also, those permanently saved data can easily produce new images through modification and composition. Therefore, this assignment will be focused on the usage of digital base and how it has made a difference in animation creative skills. In order to achieve the goal, I will be reviewing some examples and discuss about the future of animation for the next generation.

Over the years, several different approaches have been proposed to enhance the practice of software reuse. These approaches vary in reuse abstraction levels or application domains they focus on. However, it seems that they do not adequately meet the needs of software designers in planning and managing reuse. One reason may be the lack of conceptually well-established framework supporting work domain analysis and modeling. As a new viable solution to this problem, Sutcliffe and his colleagues developed Domain Theory , which is introduced in this paper. Utilizing multidisciplinary perspective, such as cognitive psychology, management science, human-computer interaction, and software engineering. it provides a schematic framework that defines a comprehensive library of generic and reusable models of domain knowledge in terms of generic tasks and meta-domains. It also provides useful methods and guidelines for software reuse, emphasizing the concept of abstraction process in a designer s mind. This paper firstly gives a brief overview of fundamentals of software reuse. Next, it explains the foundation of domain theory and discusses its applicability to software reuse. In particular, the taxonomy of meta-domains and the types of generic tasks are described in more detail. Finally, the future research framework, which primarily addresses the problem of how to apply the domain theory to various work domains, is proposed.
