In this study, the bacterial communities distributed in sea water of the whitening areas of Gangjeong and Seongsan, Jeju-do have been analysed using the PCR amplification of 16S rRNA to obtain fundamental data and information on relationship of the whitening phenomenon and microbial ecosystem. In Gangjeong, diverse bacteria such as Alcanivorax, Paracoccus, Damselae, Pseudomonas, Rhodowlum, Silicibacter, Suiftobacter, and Roseobacter have been found, and Alcanivorax was the most abundant clone. The most abundant clone from Seongsan was Pseudomonas, of which Pseudomonas tolaasii and Pseudomonas mandeli were most abundantly occurred in the frequency of approx44% and 24%, respectively. Approx4% of the bacterial clones closest to Verrucomicrobiales and other unidentified clones were also fecund in Seongsan, suggesting there is a great discrepancy between bacterial communities from the whitening areas of Seongsan and Gangjeong. The mean temperature, chlorine concentration, pH, and dissolved oxygen (DO) of the sea water of Gangieong and Seongsan in August of 2001 (sampling period) was $27^{\circ}C$~$27.5^{\circ}C$, 30.24~30.60%, pH 8.23~8.36,7 .20~7.28 mg/ι, suggesting other environmental factors except far the factors mentioned above might result in difference of bacterial communities distributed in both areas.

Motion control of the system is a position control of motor. Motion control of an uncertain robot system is considered as one of the most important and fundamental research directions in the robotics. Some distinguished works using linear control, adaptive control, robust control strategies based on computed torque methodology have been reported. However, it is generally recognized within the control community that these strategies suffer from the following problems : the exact robot dynamics are needed and hard to implement, the adaptive control cannot guarantee the performance during the transient period for adaptation under the variation, the robust control algorithms such as the sliding mode control need information on the bounds of the possible uncertainty and disturbance. And it produces a large control input as well. In this dissertation, a motion control for the unmanned intelligent robot system using disturbance observer is studied. This system is affected with an impact vibration disturbance. This paper describes a stable motion control of the system with the consideration of external disturbance. To obtain the stable motion independently against the external disturbance, the disturbance rejection is strongly required. To address the above issue, this paper presents a Disturbance OBserver(DOB) control algorithm. The validity of the suggested DOB robust control scheme is confirmed by several computer simulation results. And the experiments with a motor system is performed to give the validity of applicability in the industrial field. This results make the easier implementation of the controller possible in the field.
The behavior of peptide or protein solutes in saline aqueous solution is a fundamental topic in physical chemistry. Addition of ions can strongly alter the thermodynamic and physical properties of peptide molecules in solution. In order to study the effects of added ionic salts on protein conformation and dynamics, we have used the molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to investigate the behavior of Staphylococcus aureus Hfq protein under two different ionic concentrations: 0.1 M NaCl and 1.0 M NaCl in presence and absence of RNA (a hepta-oligoribonucleotide AU5G). Hfq, a global regulator of gene expression is highly conserved and abundant RNA-binding protein. It is already reported that in vivo the increase of ionic strength results in a drastic reduction of Hfq affinity for $Q{\beta}$ RNA and reduces the tendency of aggregation of Escherichia coli host factor hexamers. Our results revealed the crucial role of 0.1 M NaCl Hfq system on the bases with strong hydrogen bonding interactions and by stabilizing the aromatic stacking of Tyr42 residue of the adjacent subunits/monomers with the adenine and uridine nucleobases. An increase in RNA pore diameter and weakened compactness of the Hfq-RNA complex was clearly observed in 1.0 M NaCl Hfq system with bound RNA. Aggregation of monomers in Hfq and the interaction of Hfq with RNA are greatly affected due to the presence of high ionic strength. Higher the ionic concentration, weaker is the aggregation and interaction. Our results were compatible with the experimental data and this is the first theoretical report for the experimental study done in 1980 by Uhlenbeck group for the present system.
Previous studies have shown that five representative behaviors affect the health of adults in everyday life : smoking, drinking, exercise, nutrition, and stress. This study focuses on these five behaviors in an attempt not only to develop a program that promotes health, but also to suggest ways that such a program may be implemented to reflect diverse lifestyles. Our aim is to show how individual subjectivity influences behavior when making lifestyle choices that affect health. By analyzing individual characteristics, we tried to group people according to their common attitude and behaviors to promote health. We hope that this study may provide the fundamental data which may be used to assist professionals in promoting healthy behaviors among adults. In order to examine how subjectivity(e.g, personal opinions or attitudes) influences behavior, we prepared Q-statements which were composed of Q-samples for the study of human subjectivity. We polled forty-two adults and then analyzed the results using a PC qunal program. As a result, the respondents were classed according to six different types. Type One includes people who think managing stress is the most effective way to live a healthy life. They regard smoking and drinking as harmful behaviors. Type Two subjects, on the other hand, regard smoking and drinking as a matter of taste with few harmful effects. Although they recognize the importance of managing stress, they have a positive attitude towards smoking and regard nutrition as a minor factor in promoting their healthy lifestyle. Those classed as Type Three emphasize the necessity of exercise. They perceive drinking, smoking, and stress as harmful. People in this category seek to increase physical strength and to regulate all five health behaviors by keeping them in a normal range. Type Four consists of people who are indifferent to their health. While they seem to recognize the importance of regular exercise, they pay little attention to nutrition or to the harmful effects of smoking, drinking, and stress. They believe that exercise alone is sufficient to maintain their health. Type Five subjects believe drinking is not a harmful behavior at all. Rather. it has a positive effect on their mental health. They are characterized by this positive attitude towards drinking as well as by indifference toward nutrition (although they readily admit that good nutrition is important). Finally. those classed as Type Six have a positive attitude toward moderate drinking as a means to relieve stress. However. they also recognize the harmful effects of excessive drinking. They regard good nutrition as an important lifestyle choice but are indifferent toward exercise. This type is engaged in passive health management. This study devised six types or categories that reflect different attitudes toward promoting health in everyday life. It further went on to analyze the characteristics of each type. This study shows that programs designed to promote health must be modified to reflect the diversity of individual attitudes and patterns of behaviors.

This research obtained fundamental data for the development of grape foods by investigating the preference for grape foods, popularization and commercialization plan of grape foods and obtained knowledge required in order to develop grape foods. The study used 354 consumers in Seoul and GyeongGi Province. The distribution of sex on research subjects was as follows. Male was 52.0% (184 persons) and female was 48.0% (170 persons). Age distribution varied by twenties and less than twenties being 30.8%, thirties being 26.3%, forties being 24.6% and the fifties and over being 18.4%. According to the results, preference for grape foods of subjects was that rice wrapped in grape leaves ($2.14{\pm}0.7$) and sweet steamed rice($2.12{\pm}0.8$) were the highest among staple food; grape vinegar($2.38{\pm}0.7$) and grape taffy($2.25{\pm}0.7$) were the highest among spices; grape jelly ($2.53{\pm}0.6$) and grape pudding($2.45{\pm}0.7$) were the highest among snacks; grape juice ($2.70{\pm}0.5$) and grape yogurt($2.59{\pm}0.6$) were the highest among beverages. Subjects responded to the fruit group among food groups harmonized with grape foods(p<0.01). 50.7% of subjects responded to "have to be delicious" and 25.1% of subjects responded to "nutritional balance" as the most important aspects of the development of grape foods. In the popularization and commercialization plan of grape foods, Subjects chose with respected importance, personal preference($4.15{\pm}0.8$), price($4.05{\pm}0.8$) and promotional strategy($4.00{\pm}0.9$). In conclusion, the food development and revitalization plan should use grapes to find out food materials suitable for grape mixture and nutritional balance. We will expect an increase population and commercialization of grape foods if we develop grape foods and promote strategically in consideration of the preference of consumers and the price of produce.
Benzo(a)pyrene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) whose metabolites are mutagenic and highly carcinogenic and is listed as a Group 1 carcinogen by the IARC. It has been found at variable concentrations in several foods and is associated with several factors during the process including contaminated raw materials, exposure of environment, and procedure of process or cooking. In this study, benzo(a)pyrene in 45 oriental medicines were determined by HPLC/FLD. The calibration curves of benzo(a)pyrene was linear over the concentration range of 0.5~40 ng/mL with correlation coefficient of above 0.999. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) of benzo(a)pyrene were 0.04 and 0.10 ${\mu}g/kg$. Benzo(a)pyrene in 3 samples out of 45 samples was not detected. The level of benzo(a)pyrene in 26 (57.7%), 8 (17.8%) and 7 (15.6%) samples was 0.1~0.5, 0.5~1.0 and 1.0~5.0 ${\mu}g/kg$, respectively. Especially, content of benzo(a)pyrene in Coptis Rhizome is the highest (5.97 ${\mu}g/kg$). In conclusion, these results suggest that could be applied to fundamental study and guideline on drying condition to decrease content of benzo(a)pyrene in oriental medicine.

A CAD design drawing based on vector data that is very important art work in industrial fields has been considered to content that the copyright protection is urgently needed. This paper presents a watermarking scheme based on k-means++ for CAD design drawing. One CAD design drawing consists of several layers and each layer consists of various geometric objects such as LINE, POLYLINE, CIRCLE, ARC, 3DFACE and POLYGON. POLYLINE with LINE, 3DFACE and ARC that are fundamental objects make up the majority in CAD design drawing. Therefore, the proposed scheme selects the target object with high distribution among POLYLINE, 3DFACE and ARC objects in CAD design drawing and then selects layers that include the most target object. Then we cluster the target objects in the selected layers by using k-means++ and embed the watermark into the geometric distribution of each group. The geometric distribution is the normalized length distribution in POLYLINE object, the normalized area distribution in 3DFACE object and the angle distribution in ARC object. Experimental results verified that the proposed scheme has the robustness against file format converting, layer attack as well as various geometric editing provided in CAD editing tools.
This study was conducted to provide the fundamental data of the policy plan for the security of forestry labour and the revitalization of forestry mechanization by analysing the status of forestry labor and the training plan. In forestry, the total number of employer and the labour cost have slightly increased annually, but the number of employer for timber harvesting has decreased. Therefore, the organization of expert forestry mechanization unit and the training of operator will be necessary. The number and person of forest management unit, the working days of the year and income have increased in Korea. However, the working days per month of forest management unit were only 15 days, which are only 180 days per year. In the results of the calculated number and person of forest management unit for the Korean forest tending volumes, about 349 forest management units are required. In case of adjusting 12 persons per 1 unit, 4,185 persons are required. In calculated results of the optimum forestry mechanization unit and member's number by the adjusting of tower yarder harvesting system for annual timber harvesting production volume, it was known to necessary the 250 forestry mechanization unit and the 1,250 members which are calculated at 5 persons per 1 group.

The TAZ activator 2-butyl-5-methyl-6-(pyridine-3-yl)-3-[2'-(1H-tetrazole-5-yl)-biphenyl-4-ylmethyl]-3H-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine] (TM-25659) inhibits adipocyte differentiation by interacting with peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma. 1 TM-25659 was previously shown to decrease weight gain in a high fat (HF) diet-induced obesity (DIO) mouse model. However, the fundamental mechanisms underlying the effects of TM-25659 remain unknown. Therefore, we investigated the effects of TM-25659 on skeletal muscle functions in C2 myotubes and C57BL/6J mice. We studied the molecular mechanisms underlying the contribution of TM-25659 to palmitate (PA)-induced insulin resistance in C2 myotubes. TM-25659 improved PA-induced insulin resistance and inflammation in C2 myotubes. In addition, TM-25659 increased FGF21 mRNA expression, protein levels, and FGF21 secretion in C2 myotubes via activation of GCN2 pathways (GCN2-$phosphoelF2{\alpha}$-ATF4 and FGF21). This beneficial effect of TM-25659 was diminished by FGF21 siRNA. C57BL/6J mice were fed a HF diet for 30 weeks. The HF-diet group was randomly divided into two groups for the next 14 days: the HF-diet and HF-diet + TM-25659 groups. The HF diet + TM-25659-treated mice showed improvements in their fasting blood glucose levels, insulin sensitivity, insulin-stimulated Akt phosphorylation, and inflammation, but neither body weight nor food intake was affected. The HF diet + TM-25659-treated mice also exhibited increased expression of both FGF21 mRNA and protein. These data indicate that TM-25659 may be beneficial for treating insulin resistance by inducing FGF21 in models of PA-induced insulin resistance and HF diet-induced insulin resistance.

This study is for the preservation plan of the tradition space which is performed by the damage status analysis through performing the value assessment. Especially, it is an experimental study for finding the process and methods by analyzing the major element for the value assessment of the selected object's damage status through the expert group who are systematized in their interest to conserve the traditional structure in traditional space. For that purpose, this study should be performed by the fundamental understanding of the physical property of the Supyo-bridge and the condition of the selected site's environment. Meanwhile, this study has been done that 'map of the damage status distribution' for making records of damage status of the Supyo-bridge on the property utilized field measurement adapted by photogrammetry and assessment guidelines, which are for investigation on damage status of objects that are standardized 'Raccomandazioni Normal' which could be said construction culture assets management guidelines of Italian government. As the result of investigation, damage status of each part in the Supyo-bridge was mostly composed of damage by sediment and corrosion and in case of 9 damage types including corrosion, in consideration of physical and chemical properties and distribution status of those elements, it is made an judgement that is not working as a threatened factor regarding security of the Supyo-bridge. On the contrary, for the improvement landscape, in case of 'Thermoclastism' phenomenon observed in 'upper floor', 'Myungae stone' and 'bridge pier' is that when taking it into consideration that is widely distributed concentrated on the bridge pier, surface reinforcement job along with elimination of damage part will be judged to be requested for earliest treatment.
