맨드라미(Celosia cristata L.) 꽃 메탄올 추출물로부터 용매분획된 분획물의 항산화활성 (Antioxidant Activities of Solvent Fractions from Methanolic Extract of Cockscome (Celosia cristata L.) Flowers)

  • 맨드라미꽃의 식품학적 이용가능성을 확인해 보고자 항산화성분 및 항산화활성에 대해 검토하였다. 맨드라미꽃의 항산화성분과 활성은 메탄올 추출물과 순차적 용매분획물에 대해 측정하였으며, 메탄올 추출물과 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획물의 추출수율은 각각 23.33, 10.27, 20.00, 13.63, 17.55 및 38.54%였다. 맨드라미꽃 메탄올 추출물의 총 polyphenol, flavonoid 및 tannin 함량은 각각 6.80 mg GAE/g ME, 2.34 mg CE/g ME 및 6.23 mg TAE/g ME였다. 순차적 용매분획물 중 butanol 분획에서 각각 14.92 mg GAE/g SF, 5.44 mg CE/g SF 및 13.38 mg TAE/g SF로 함량이 높았다. 총 proanthocyanidin 함량은 $44.72{\mu}g$ CE/g ME였고 순차적 용매분획물은 각각 42.47, 44.43, 50.03, 49.12 및 $41.80{\mu}g$ CE/g ER로 용매간 유의적인 차이를 보이지 않았다. 맨드라미꽃의 메탄올 추출물의 DPPH 및 ABTS radical 소거활성은 각각 5.24 및 10.70 mg TE/g ME였고 butanol 분획에서 각각 12.53 및 21.09 mg TE/g SF로 활성이 높았다. 메탄올 추출물의 SOD 유사활성은 7.96 unit/mL로 나타났고 hexane, chloroform, ethyl acetate, butanol 및 물 분획물은 각각 4.56, 6.15, 8.07, 12.36 및 5.21 unit/mL로 butanol 분획의 활성이 높았다. 맨드라미꽃 추출물의 항산화성분과 항산화활성 간에 높은 정의 상관관계를 보였고 맨드라미꽃 추출물이 체내 및 식품에서 유익한 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

가로수관련 문제유형의 관계론적 해석 - 인천광역시 중앙공원길을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Inter-Relational Interpretation of Street Plant Issues - Focus on Central Park Road in Incheon Metropolitan City -)

  • Generally, trees lining the streets are the most easily accessible green areas in the city and constitute the smallest basic unit in the formation of the urban linear green axis. This study attempts to interpret issues related to city trees from a comprehensive and relational viewpoint. The site of this study is Central Park Street in front of Incheon Metropolitan City Hall. This street is representative of those in Incheon City. This study is an inter-relational interpretation of issues by measuring the vitality of these trees. The following are results of this study: First, the vitality of city trees is higher in those trees growing in natural ground than those growing in plant gratings. This observation can lead to budget savings and increased natural areas in the city. Also, if planter and multi-layering planting methods are introduced where damage to trees is predicted, variation to urban landscape can be achieved while linking to reinforced rearing foundation of street-side trees. Second, there is need for a holistic approach to caring for street-side trees regarding the damage caused by drastic pruning and strong street lights. The typical functions of these trees, like supplying freshness in summer, absorbing solar radiation, and controlling the urban micro-climate are closely related to the vitality of the trees. Accordingly, the function and ecology should be understood holistically, not separately. In this aspect, the functional and ecological use of the multi-layering planting method is effective in protecting pedestrians from vehicles as well. Third, the fallen leaves of monotonous rows of trees have different ecological and functional effects. Not only is the index of greenness in the urban setting increased, but there are also aesthetic and symbolic effects. Fourth, in spite of being the street along which Incheon Metropolitan City Hall, major administrative buildings and Central Park are located, this street does not have its own special identity to discriminate it from other streets. It fulfills only functional criteria based on uniformity. If there is no paradigm shift from today's street system based on vehicles, the role of landscape architecture will be very passive in regards to street-side trees, the minimum unit of urban green. Fifth, on this particular street, many trees were planted in December, which reflects a deficiency of short and long-term strategy, like a street-tree master plan. In this aspect, we still lack a mature culture concerning these trees as a basic unit in urban greenery. Furthermore, there needs to be cultural introspection concerning present administrative practices.

PAA(Pad Area Array)을 이용한 ITS RF 모듈의 3차원적 패키지 구현 (Three Dimensional Implementation of Intelligent Transportation System Radio Frequency Module Packages with Pad Area Array)

  • 본 논문에서는 RF 회로의 3차원 적층 구조를 설계하고 RF 회로의 특성개선 효과를 살펴보았다. 3차원적 RF 회로를 구현하기 위하여 분할 설계 기준을 제안하였으며 이에 따라 RF 회로를 기능별, 동작 주파수별로 분할하여 구현하였다. 분할된 하위 모듈을 3차원으로 적층 연결할 수 있도록 PAA 입출력 단자구조를 이용하여 3차원 형태의 ITS RF 시스템을 제작하였다. 이에 따라 아날로그 신호와 디지털 신호, DC 전원이 혼재되어 있는 ITS(지능형 교통관제 시스템) 224MHz RF 모듈을 구성되는 회로를 특성 임피던스 정합과 시스템의 동작 안정도를 고려하여, 기능별로는 송신부, 수신부, PLL(Phase Locked Loop)부, 전원부로 분할하였고 주파수별로는 224MHz, 21.4MHz, 및 450kHz~DC의 주파수 대역으로 분할하여 설계하였다. RF 회로 모듈을 구현하는 과정에서 224MHz 대역에서 동작하는 송신부와 수신부 증폭회로는 설계치와 일치하는 18.9㏈, 23.9㏈의 이득, PLL부와 전원부는 위상 고정, 정전원 입력의 동작특성을 최대화시킬 수 있었다. 3차원 구조의 RF 모듈은 2차원의 평면구조의 단일 기판 구성방법과 비교하여 부피 및 배선길이에서 각각 76.9%, 28.4%를 감소시킨 $48cm^3$, 1.8cm를 나타내었고, 열적 성분인 최고 동작 온도특성은 37% 감소한 $41.8^{\circ}C$를 나타났다. PAA형 3차원 적층 구조는 고속 고밀도 저전력의 특성을 가지며, 저비용으로 구현할 수 있으며 RF 주파수 영역에서 각 모듈을 기능별, 주파수별로 모듈화해 제품의 기능을 가변적으로 변화시켜줄 수 있음을 알 수 있었고, RAA 형태의 입출력 단자로 연결함으로써 단일 양면 기판으로 구현되던 2차원적 RF 회로 모듈의 부피와 전기적 동작 특성과 열적 특성을 개선시킬 수 있었다.

LSGM 전해질과 LSM 양극의 합성분말을 이용한 SOFC 단위전지의 특성 (Cell Properties for SOFC Using Synthesized Powder of Electrolyte LSGM System and Cathode LSM System)

  • 고체산화물 연료전지의 운전온도를 낮추기 위해 구성재 중 LSGM 전해질과 LSM 양극을 합성하고, 그 특성을 조사한 후 최적 조성과 공정으로 단위전지를 제작하고 출력을 측정하였다. 전해질 조성인 $(La_{0.85}Sr_{0.15})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}와 (La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}$$1500^{\circ}$에서 6시간 소결한 경우 두 조성 모두 $LaGaO_3$의 단일상을 형성하였고, $10∼3{\mu}m$의 결정 크기를 갖는 치밀한 미세구조를 얻었으며, 저기전도도는 $800^{\circ}$에서 0.13S/cm를 나타내었다. 양극의 경우 GNP법으로 $(La1-xSrx)MnO_3$를 합성한 경우 Sr의 양이 0.2mole일 때까지는 $LaMnO_3$ perovskite 단일상이 생성되었으며, 입자의 크기는 약 40nm였다. 단위전지는 $(La_{0.8}Sr_{0.2})(Ga_{0.8}Mg_{0.2})O_{3-\delta}$ 조성으로 소결한 전해질 양면에 $(La_{0.9}Sr_{0.1})MnO_3$ 양극과 음극의 입자크기는 $1{\mu}m$ 정도였고 다공성을 나타내었다. 이때 단위전지의 출력은 $800^{\circ}$에서 약 $0.3W/cm^2$를 나타내었다

  • This paper considers the part assignment to workstations in flexible manufactuirng system (FMS). Parts are processed through several workstations according to processing order. The machines of each workstation can do multiple Processing functions. Therefore, a processing of a part can be processed in several workstations, which are non-identical in functional performance. Although a processing of a part can be processed in the multiple workstations, it has to be processed in only one among available several workstations, Parts are transported with unit load by automated guided vehicles (AGVs). The criteria of part assignment is to minimize the maximum value of the processing times of each workstation and the total transport times of vehicles. Model formulation is suggested, and numerical example is shown.

전자현미경의 임상적 응용 (Practical Application of Electron Microscopy in Clinical Medicine)

  • Introduction of electron microscope in biological and medical sciences change the concept of functional and morphologic unit of biological phenomena from the cell to subcellular unit, and it formulated the basis for molecular biology and pathology. Until recently, electron microscopy has mainly been applied to basic research works. However, practical clinical application of electron microscopy is being actively tried. The major clinical fields in which electron microscopy is helpful or even essential include viral diseases, metabolic diseases, glomerular diseases and in the identification of certain types of neoplasms. A brief introduction of characteristics of each conditions are made to encourage more active application of electron microscopy in clinical medicine.

고속정 전투체계의 함포 중심 대공전 성능 분석 (A Study on the Gun-Oriented Anti Air Warfare Capability of the Patrol Killer Combat System)

  • The Gun-Oreinted Anti-Air Warfare(GOAAW) which is still one of the important weapon systems of the vessel like the patrol killer to confront air threats comprises the components of the combat system - Command & Control(C2), Ballistic Calculation Unit, Sensors and Guns. In this paper, the GOAAW process of the patrol killer combat system is analyzed with probability and simulated to evaluate the effectiveness and capability of the GOAAW. As a result of the simulation, the performance measures of the GOAAW are discussed in the functional and operational aspects of the combat system.

  • The purpose of this study is to improve design method for renovating an environmental friendly residential space where nature and humans could coexist. In the present study, five deteriorated multi-family housing complexes have been selected and one hundred and thirty eight dwellers have been asked about ecological important factors through the questionnaire. This study presents the adaptable solutions, such as are the enlargement of unit space or area, the renovation of facade, the functional change for dwellings on the ground level, the open piping of circulation systems, the expansion of community facilities(include greenarea), the build up of spatial hierarchy and the housing development set reuse planning forth as a premise, for the aspects of dwelling unit, building block and site planning.

  • In this paper, as the step to assess and enhance the reliability of Korean Tilting Train eXpress (T.T.X), Door system is selected and reliability analysis is carried out. The door system is classified into subsystems and functional block diagrams and reliability block diagrams are drawn.Expessions for evaluating the reliability are derived and Mean Kilometer between Service Failure is calculated using the trial track test results. The calculation result show reliability growth of proposed system. This paper developed RAMS to make a door system of T.T.X. (Tilting Train eXpress) with maximum operation speed of 180 km/h.

Photooxidation of BR Vulcanizate Using High Pressure Mercury Lamp

  • Polybutadiene rubber (BR) has been well known that its physical and chemical properties are changed when it is exposed to ultraviolet light undergoing photooxidation. In this study, photooxdiation process of BR vulcanizate was investigated using a high pressure mercury lamp used as an outdoor lighting, which has high UV radiation efficiency and reasonable cost. Discoloration and crack formation of photooxdized BR vulcanite surface were examined using an image analyzer. Change of chemical functional groups of BR vulcanite surface by photooxidation was investigated using ATR-FTIR, and variation of the crosslink density with the UV irradiation time was investigated. By increasing the UV irradiation time, the crosslink density steeply increased after a period of time and did not increase any more. Formation of hydroxyl (~OH) and carbonyl (~C=O) groups on the BR vulcanizate surface increased and the1,4-cis unit was converted to the 1,4-trans unit as the photooxidation was proceeded.
