In this paper, we introduce the concepts of an orthogonal generalized F-contraction mapping and prove some fixed point theorems for a self mapping in an orthogonal metric space. The given results are generalization and extension some of the well-known results in the literature. An example to support our result is presented.

The variational nodal method for solving the neutron transport equation has evolved over 40 years. Based on a functional form of the Boltzmann neutron transport equation, the method now comprises a complete set of variants that can be employed for different problems. This paper presents an extensive review of the development of the variational nodal method. The emphasis is on summarizing the whole theoretical system rather than validating the methodologies. The paper covers the variational nodal formulation of the Boltzmann neutron transport equation, the Ritz procedure for various application purposes, the derivation of boundary conditions, the extension for adjoint and perturbation calculations, and treatments for anisotropic scattering sources. Acceleration approaches for constructing response matrices and solving the resulting system of algebraic equations are also presented.

If p(z) is a polynomial of degree n having all its zeros in |z| ≤ k, k ≥ 1, then for any complex number α with |α| ≥ k, and r ≥ 1, Aziz [1] proved $$\left{{\int}_{0}^{2{\pi}}\,{\left|1+k^ne^{i{\theta}}\right|^r}\,d{\theta}\right}^{\frac{1}{r}}\;{\max\limits_{{\mid}z{\mid}=1}}\,{\mid}p^{\prime}(z){\mid}\,{\geq}\,n\,\left{{\int}_{0}^{2{\pi}}\,{\left|p(e^{i{\theta}})\right|^r\,d{\theta}\right}^{\frac{1}{r}}.$$ In this paper, we obtain an improved extension of the above inequality into polar derivative. Further, we also extend an inequality on polar derivative recently proved by Rather et al. [20] into L^r-norm. Our results not only extend some known polynomial inequalities, but also reduce to some interesting results as particular cases.

In this article, we are interested in studying the fractional Sadik Transform and a combination of the method of steps that will be applied together to find accurate solutions or approximations to homogeneous and non-homogeneous delayed fractional differential equations with constant-coefficient and possible extension to time-dependent delays. The results show that the process is correct, exact, and easy to do for solving delayed fractional differential equations near the origin. Finally, we provide several examples to illustrate the applicability of this method.

사용자들은 필요한 자료 검색을 위해서 다양한 포털 사이트를 활용하고 있으며, 현재 구글을 이용한 활용이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 일반적으로 필터링을 위하여 사용자들은 구글에서 제공 되는 검색 연산자의 활용에 어려움을 격고 있다. 검색 연산자를 활용하여 검색의 효율성을 극대화 시켜 불필요한 검색 결과를 필터링하고 원하는 검색 결과를 획득 할 수 있는 효율적인 검색연산자의 사용 방법의 필요성이 제기 된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 크롬의 확장 프로그램기능을 이용해서 일반인들이 크롬 환경에서 편히 검색 연산자들을 통해서 검색 결과를 필터링 할 수 있는 크롬 확장 프로그램을 Web/App으로 개발 하였다.

This paper presents an under-actuated robotic hand inspired by the ligamentous structure of the human hand for a prosthetic application. The joint mechanisms are based on the concept of a tensegrity structure formed by elastic strings. These rigid bodies and elastic strings in the mechanism emulate the phalanx bones and primary ligaments found in human finger joints. As a result, the proposed hand inherently possesses compliant characteristics, ensuring robust adaptability during grasping and when interacting with physical environments. For the practical implementation of the tensegrity-based joint mechanism, we detail the installation of the strings and the routing of the driving tendon, which are related to extension and flexion, respectively. Additionally, we have designed the palm structure of the proposed hand to facilitate opposition and tripod grips between the fingers and thumb, taking into account the transverse arch of the human palm. In conclusion, we tested a prototype of the proposed hand to evaluate its motion and grasping capabilities.

A new rice cultivar, 'Joami', was developed by the rice breeding team of Sangju Substation, National Institute of Crop Science (NICS), Rural Development Administration. It was selected by a bulk and pedigree methods from a cross-combination among 'Sambaegbyeo', 'Yukara', and 'Tonggae112'. A promising line of YR20557-1-1-3-B-3 was designated as 'Sangju 36' in 2006. Local adaptability test of 'Sangju 36' was conducted at ten sites throughout the Korean peninsula during three years from 2006 to 2008. 'Sangju 36', thereafter, was registered as 'Joami' in 2008. The cultivar headed on July 30 in the test of local adaptability. Endosperm of 'Joami' is translucent with clear chalkiness and has 5.4% higher head rice ratio than that of 'Odaebyeo'. The yield potential of 'Joami' in milled rice is about 5.40 MT/ha under ordinary fertilizer level of local adaptability test, which was 6% higher than that of 'Odaebyeo'. In an alpine area of Korea, the rice variety needs a cold tolerance and a resistance to blast disease. 'Joami' showed a tolerance reaction at Chuncheon cold tolerance screening nursery and exhibited resistance reaction to blast disease in nation-wide disease screening nursery. Therefore, 'Joami' would be well adaptable to mid-mountainous area at central and southern part of Korean peninsula.

This study was measured weight loss, total ascorbic acid, titratable acidity, and soluble solids content and overall appearances to investigate the effect of FC(corrugated fiberboard box laminated with functional MA film)box, LDPE film, CE(functional MA film)pouches and double wall corrugated fiberboard box during storage at $20^{\circ}C$. Weight loss of tomato packed with control, LDPE, CE and FC box at $25^{\circ}C$ after 7 days were 5.3%, 1.5%, 1.3%, and 1.5%, respectively. Weight loss of control was 3.8% higher than that of FC box. Total ascorbic acid content(TAA) of tomato after 7. days, control was 6.89 mg%, LDPE was 8.62 and CE was 8.53mg%, FC was 8.42mg%. TAA of LDPE, CE and FC was higher than that of control. Titratable acidity of tomato packed with LDPE, FC and CE was higher than that of control. Overall appearances of tomato packed with LDPE, CE and FC was better than that of control. Functional MA film laminated in corrugated paperboard box(FC) showed to be able to used as a packaging box of tomato.

This survey was conducted to investigate the functional quality characteristics of garlic based on different soil conditions (Pyungan, Maji, Anmi, Yuga, and Songjung soils). The Pyungan, Maji, and Anmi soils from the Danyang area showed high levels of pH, organic matter, available $P_2O_5$, and inorganic components. For the functional compositions of the garlic harvested from the different soil conditions, the Pyungan garlic contained the highest amounts of alliin and total fructan, with 9.2 and 193.3 mg/g, respectively. The Pyungan garlic also showed the highest amounts of total polyphenol and flavonoids, with 146.5 and 123.5 mg/100 g, respectively. Among the garlics from the different soils, the IC50 values by the DPPH assay ranged from 0.28 to 0.32 g/mL, and the $IC_{50}$ of the Pyungan garlic was 0.28 g/mL. The correlation coefficients between the functional quality of the garlic and the different soil compositions were analyzed. The quality of the garlic was positively affected by the pH and organic matter content (p < 0.01) of the soil. Since the Danyang garlic harvested from the Danyang soil had better functional qualities, these results suggest that the production of garlic in a suitable area for the ecotype is most effective.
