In this paper we designed a service composition architecture which enables the functional extension of existing service or the creation of new service by combining more than one service. The designed composition architecture is based on the service architecture of the TINA-C. It is designed by extending TINA information model and computational model. Composition related object, relations and interface between objects are defined in the information model and the computational model. And we tested the designed architecture by implementing two multimedia service and composition the services.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to look into the change of area and space organization percentage of wards in main general hospitals in Busan and Gyeongnam. Method : Patient area, nursing area, service area, training area, common area were classified for functional space organization. Patient area was reclassified to bedroom and comfort area, and common area was reclassified into vertical circulation, horizontal circulation and facility area. Also, method of area calculation was chosen standard to wall center-lines following building act 911 and functional space area of each hospital was estimated and comparatively analyzed. Result : For hospitals completed before 2000, area ratio by functional space for patient area, nursing area, service area and common area showed 53.6%, 10.2%, 0.8%, and 35.3% respectively. For hospitals completed after 2000, area ratio by functional space for patient area, nursing area, service space, and common area showed 49.2%, 12.6%, 1.1%, and 37.2% respectively. Implications : Through this study, change of percentage of space organization of main general hospitals in Busan Gyeongnam can be understood. Also because most studies on area organization of general hospital wards were focused on the capital area, this study provides basic material for future studies related to area of general hospital wards in Busan Gyeongnam.

This study is intended to clarify the ideologies and principles applied to the formative expression of church architecture which is contained both the God and human. From the result of study of modern architectural movement, all of architectural ideology have not been developed with the church architecture. Some of architectural concept have been the foundation of modern church architecture. From the point of view of theological aspects of Christianism, in church architecture which is hard to overcome the adherence of historical characteristics, especially nationalism which contain all the concepts and try the localization of church architecture play multi-functional roles to form expressional characteristics of the modern church architecture show harmonize to the modern architecture trend. The study is intended to clarify the nationalism-church architecture and to know the capability of our cases.

As the most widely used media of BtoB e-business, the e-Marketplace can be a way of BtoB e-buisness continuously in the age of c-Commerce with the functional collaborative integration between the e-Marketplace and corporate systems. Moreover, collaborative operations like QR, VMI and so on have shown a great efficiency in the area of BtoB supply chain management. However, some critical considerations are discussed in the selection of trade partners between the e-Marketplace and the SCM. In e-Marketplaces, the intermediation to select partnersusually focuses on the competitive process for lower price. However, in the SCM, the relationship with strategic alliance is more importantly addressed for efficiency. Considering the trend to c-Commerce in Internet commerce, the approach to the collaborative relationship in BtoB commerce has important meanings. In this paper, we proposed and appraised an architecture where the e-Marketplace can be an elelctronic functional method for the relationship based BtoB e-business from the viewpoint of SCM and c-Commerce.

Recently, the importance of the living environment for elderly people and its network is increasing. At the same time, the small-scale and multi-functional apartment house in which they can live is continuously required in Japan. For these reasons, it is appearing a new type of housing, Group-Living, where one lives together with others. It represents a way of communal living which is based on service at home. There are various problems such as felicity of each space, connections between the different areas, insufficiency of positioning on the aged welfare. Hence this research targets are grasp the present condition of Group-Living, to inquire the Space composition and types of it in Tokyo Area, and to suggest the direction of improvement of the small-scale and multi-functional apartment house for the aged.

This thesis is a case study of hospital design corresponding to substance of hospital components. The substance of each divisions and functional elements of hospital architecture is analyzed and the appropriate forms corresponding to each substance are tried in design. The researcher is convinced, that healthcare facilities for patients must be differently designed from post-modernism or deconstructivism. He suggests new design method in designing of jeju university hospital competition.

We developed a pipelined scheduling technique of functional hardware and software modules for platform-based system-on-a-chip (SoC) designs. It is based on a modified list scheduling algorithm. We used the pipelined scheduling technique for a performance analysis of an MPEG4 video encoder application. Then, we applied it for architecture exploration to achieve a better performance. In our experiments, the modified SoC platform with 6 pipelines for the 32-bit dual layer architecture shows a 118% improvement in performance compared to the given basic SoC platform with 4 pipelines for the 16-bit single-layer architecture.

With the advance of Smart TV technologies, TV watchers can enjoy the Internet and games while watching TV programs. Besides retrieving with some keywords in the Internet, people may want to access local information such as notifications from town, messages from children's schools, shopping information from local marts, and even reminder messages for visiting from hospitals while watching TV without using web-browser. In this paper, we introduce the daily life notification service scenarios and its functional and non-functional requirements. Furthermore, we also propose a system that provides the notification services, consists of smart TV apps and server systems. We also introduce the system architecture and the component design of the system. Our work will help smart TV service developers because this paper will give them some service scenarios, requirements, and system architecture and its component design.

The focus of this study is that spacial, material, functional, cubical reasons are visually expressed on high-rise office Architecture in Korea according to the period of their completion. Office buildings are analyzed in three of exterior composition : Lower, Middle, Top part of the Building, Comparing the whole composition of the Building, forty-five types of compositions are extracted ; expression of formal, material, structural, functional Decoration which show the tendencies of Korean office buildings.

The most important non-functional requirements for dependability of any Embedded Real-Time Safety Systems are safety, availability and reliability requirements. System architecture plays the primary role in achieving these requirements. Compliance with these non-functional requirements should be ensured early in the development cycle with appropriate considerations during architectural design. In this paper, we present an application of system architecture modeling for quantitative assessment of system dependability. We use probabilistic model checker (PRISM), for dependability analysis of the DTMC model derived from system architecture model. In general, the model checking techniques do not scale well for analyzing large systems, because of prohibitively large state space. It limits the use of model checking techniques in analyzing the systems of practical interest. We propose abstraction based compositional analysis methodology to circumvent this limitation. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology has been demonstrated using the case study involving the dependability analysis of safety system of a large Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR).
