After stroke, many people have problems with balance during movement. Balance is essential for the optimal functioning of the locomotor system and the performance of many activities of daily living. The Functional Gait Assessment (FGA) is a clinical tool for evaluating balance ability during walking. The test consists of ten tasks, seven tasks of the Dynamic Gait Index and three additional tasks. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the reliability and internal consistency of data obtained with the Korean version of the FGA when used with people after suffering a stroke. One-hundred participants, at least three months poststroke and able to walk at least six meters with or without a walking aid, participated in the study (age range=30~83 years; $mean{\pm}SD=58.8{\pm}10.9$). Two physical therapists and two physical therapy students rated the FGA. Intrarater and interrater reliability of the FGA were assessed using kappa statistic and intraclass correlation coefficients (2,1). The internal consistency of the FGA was assessed using the Cronbach alpha. The Cronbach alpha was good (${\alpha}$=.86~.93). The intrarater (intraclass correlation coefficient=.92~.95) and interrater reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient=.91, .95) of the total scores administered by the therapists and students were good, whereas the reliability for single item scores when administered by the physical therapists was moderate to good (kapa value=.42~.97). This study found that intrarater and interrater reliability for total FGA scores and internal consistency were good. Therefore, the Korean version of the FGA can be used as a reliable tool to assess the functional gait performance of patients after stroke.
We analyse reliability of multi-state UH-60 helicopter hydraulic pump system with a multi-functional standby component using Markov analysis method. The system consists of seven components: 2 main pumps, 1 standby pump, 2 primary servos, and 2 tail rotor servos. The standby pump can take over when one more than components fail. Therefore the standby pump is multi-functional standby component. The system has four states: good, deteriorated, dangerous, and failed. The components have 2 states: working and failed. We assume the system is unrepairable when the components fail. We estimate failure distributions and rates using collected failure time data in field. And we classify multi-state of the system according to emergency procedure of UH-60A student handout. We obtain the reliabilities of multi-state system using Visual Basic program because the differential equations is extremely complicated and tedious to solve.

This study investigated effects of five consumption values of family restaurants, that is to say, functional value, economic value, social value, creative value and emotional value, upon consumers'satisfaction and brand reliability, and effects of satisfactions upon brand reliability, and effects of satisfaction and brand reliability upon consumers' behavioral intention to help develop family restaurant industry. Frequency analysis was done. The interviewees had demographic characteristics of gender: 156 men (54.4%) and 131 women (45.6%). The interviewees live in the places: 136 persons (47.4%) in Gyeonggi and Metropolitan area, 57 persons (27.0%) in Gangbuk, Seoul, 38 persons (13.2%) in other areas in Seoul, 34 persons (11.8%) in Gangnam, Seoul, 18 persons (6.3%) in Incheon and 4 persons (1.4%) in other regions. Values of the use of family restaurants, for instance, functional value, economic value, social value, emotional value and rarity value had influence upon satisfaction and brand reliability, had influence upon satisfaction as well as brand reliability. This study investigated consumption values of which consumers thought much, effects of consumption values upon satisfaction and brand reliability, effects of consumer's satisfaction upon brand reliability, and consumer's satisfaction and brand reliability upon behavioral intention, and to verify effects having influence upon local and foreign family restaurant.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the reliability and validity of the Functional Movement Screen (FMS) for assessing Korean athletes. Methods: A total of 48 patients (37 males and 11 females) participated in this study. Data were acquired after translation of the FMS from English to Korean and cross-cultural adaptation of the this questionnaire. To determine inter-rater reliability, the relationship between the FMS scores obtained by two raters was evaluated using the Kappa coefficient, which was in total agreement with the Intra-Correlation Coefficient (ICC3,1). Concurrent validity was examined by correlating the FMS scores with the Oswestry disability index (ODI) scores and Visual analogue scale (VAS) scores. Results: The raters demonstrated excellent agreement on 7 (above 90%) of the 17 test (72.9 to 97.9%) components. Substantial agreement was seen in 11 of the 17 tests. Two components of the In-line lunge and rotatory stability tests demonstrated moderate agreement. It showed good inter-rater reliability: the Kappa coefficients ranged from 0.42 to 0.97. ICC3,1=0.42~0.99 and 0.93 (total FMS score). Cronbach's alpha for FMS was 0.80. It was not correlated with ODI or VAS. Conclusion: The Korean version of the FMS is a reliable instrument for measuring movement patterns of Korean athletes and for making decisions related to interventions for performance enhancement.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to develop a Phlegm Pattern Questionnaire for Functional Dyspepsia (PPQ-FD) by modifying a previously developed Phlegm Pattern Questionnaire (PPQ) and to verify its reliability and validity. Further objectives were to obtain the optimal cut-off value for the PPQ-FD for standardization and for clinical use. Methods: The PPQ-FD was developed by extracting the major symptoms of the phlegm pattern in functional dyspepsia and by using the Delphi method to administer a requested importance survey to experts. The reliability, validity, and optimal cut-off value of the PPQ-FD were analyzed by enrolling a total of 60 subjects in this study. Thirty patients were diagnosed with both functional dyspepsia and phlegm pattern and thirty patients were diagnosed with only functional dyspepsia. All participants were requested to fill out the PPQ-FD. Results: No statistically significant differences were detected in the two groups for sex distribution, age, or body mass index. Five of the survey questions negatively affected its reliability; therefore, we decided to exclude those five questions on further inspection. The Cronbach's α coefficient of the revised PPQ-FD was 0.853, and clinical validity was verified. Construct validity was analyzed by factor analysis and identified four factors. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the revised PPQ-FD and other dyspepsia scales, such as the SQDQ, SSQD, VAS, NDI-K, and FD-QoL scales. The VAS had particularly strong positive correlations with the PPQ-FD. Conclusions: The PPQ-FD developed in this study has fundamental reliability and validity for use as a pattern-diagnosis questionnaire. The PPQ-FD can help to diagnose the phlegm pattern in patients with functional dyspepsia.
Objectives: Several pattern diagnosis questionnaires have been developed to objectify the process of pattern diagnosis in Korean medicine. In this context, this study aimed to develop a food retention questionnaire for functional dyspepsia (FRQ-FD) by modifying the previously developed food retention questionnaire (FRQ) and to verify its reliability and validity. Furthermore, this study aimed to identify the optimal cut-off value of the FRQ-FD for standardization and use in clinical situations. Methods: To develop the FRQ-FD, we extracted the major symptoms of food retention pattern for functional dyspepsia from Chinese/Korean medicine textbooks and requested an importance survey from experts using the Delphi method. The first draft of the FRQ-FD was composed of 25 questions comprising 8 questions from the textbooks and the Delphi method and 17 questions from the FRQ already developed in 2013. To analyze its reliability, validity, and optimal cut-off value, 60 subjects were enrolled in this study from June 25 to August 13, 2018. Thirty patients were diagnosed as both functional dyspepsia and food retention pattern, and 30 healthy participants were not. All participants were requested to fill up the FRQ-FD, Stomach Qi Deficiency Questionnaire (SQDQ), Scale for Stomach Qi Deficiency pattern (SSQD), visual analog scale (VAS) for dyspepsia, Nepean Dyspepsia Index-Korean version (NDI-K), and functional dyspepsia-related quality of life (FD-QoL). Results: No statistically significant differences were found in sex distribution, age, and body mass index between the patient group and the control group. As five questions affected the reliability negatively and three questions affected the clinical validity negatively, we decided to exclude the eight questions upon further investigation. The Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ coefficient of the revised FRQ-FD (17 items) was 0.899, and its clinical validity was verified. Construct validity was analyzed by factor analysis and produced five factors. Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the revised FRQ-FD and the other dyspepsia scales, namely, SQDQ, SSQD, VAS, NDI-K, and FD-QoL. VAS and NDI-K especially had strong positive correlations with FRQ-FD. Conclusions: The FRQ-FD developed in this study can provide fundamental reliability and validity for a pattern diagnosis questionnaire. FRQ-FD can help to diagnose food retention pattern in functional dyspepsia patients. Further studies are required to inspect several statistical factors.

We summarize, in this paper, that we have learned from the slftwar reliability analysis of a large switching software composed of functional blocks which form slotware units. To determine the time of management activity related to sopftware reliability growth, we review the process of detection and correction of software failures. Also we apply the two softwre reliability frowth model, Goel-Okumoto and S-shaped model, to estimate the global software reliability growth to a set of failure found during period of the system test. The analysis methods and results can be applied to other large software development projects.

To increase the functionality of the memories, previous studies have deifned faults models and proposed functional testing algorithms with low complexity. Although conventional testing depended strongly on functional (voltage) testing method, it couldn't detect short and open defects caused by gate oxide short and spot defect which can afect memory reliability. Therefore, IDDQ (quiescent power supply current) testing is required to detect defects and thus can obtain high reliability. In this paper, we consider resistive shorts on gate-source, gate-drain, and drain-source as well as opens in mOS FET and observe behavior of the memory by analyzing voltage at storge nodes of the memory and IDDQ resulting from PSPICE simulation. Finally, using this behavioral analysis, we propose a linear testing algorithm of complexity O(N) which can be applicable to both functional testing and IDDQ testing simultaneously to obtain high functionality and reliability.

Functional safety is part of the overall safety relating to the equipment under control (EUC) and the EUC control system that depends on the correct functioning of the electrical/electronic/programmable electronic (E/E/PE) safety-related systems. Since the complexity of the medical equipment is increased, manufactures have to obtain functional safety as well as basic safety. This study proposes a perspective for applying functional safety to medical equipment. The research is carried out with respect to overall safety life-cycle of functional safety and essential performance of the medical equipment. The relationship between functional safety and essential performance is identified centered on the safety function. The essential performance using E/E/PE systems is defined as a safety function of functional safety. This approach is applied to a ultrasound imaging system as a case study.
