  • Different kinds of information are used when solving tasks that arise in the life cycle of an applied knowledge based system (KBS). Many of these tasks are still under investigation. Their solving methods are often researched independently of each other due to complexity of the tasks. As a result, systems that realize these methods turn out to be incompatible and therefore could not be used together in the lifecycle of a KBS. The following problem arises here: how to support the full life cycle of a KBS. This paper introduces a class of computer knowledge banks that are intended to support the full life cycle of KBSs. Primary tasks that arise in the full life cycle of a KBS are analyzed. The architecture of a knowledge bank of the introduced class is presented, including an Information Content, a Shell of the Information Content and a Software Content. General requirements on these components are formulated on the basis of the analysis. These requirements depend on the current state of understanding in the life cycle of KBSs.

  • 풀-브리지 서브모듈은 MMC의 단위 시스템으로서 서브모듈에 대한 수명예측은 HVDC 시스템의 유지 보수와 경제성 확보 관점에서 매우 중요하다. 그러나 일반적으로 부품의 종류, 개수, 결합 상태만을 고려하는 수명 예측은 대상 시스템의 구동상태를 고려하지 않는 일반화 된 결과로 실제 시스템의 수명과 크게 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 풀-브리지 서브모듈의 동작 특성을 반영하기 위한 목적으로 고장나무를 설계하고 기본 사상의 고장률에 MIL-HDBK-217F를 적용하여 풀-브리지 서브모듈의 수명을 예측한다. 기존의 부품고장률 분석과 제안된 고장나무 분석에 의한 기대 수명을 비교하고, 풀-브리지 서브모듈의 여유율 적용 여부에 따른 수명을 비교한다.

  • There has been no systematic accumulation in the aircraft weight data even though those are crucial in the full life-cycle weight and balance program of aircraft. Companies, government agencies, and the Korea Air Force have been controling the data separately. The lack of communication between these institutes prevented the mutual use of the data. This study deals with a SE model-based weight and balance program development process for the full life-cycle weight and balance control of aircraft which enabled the efficient and mutual use of the weight data from the various institutes.

  • Environmental Product Life Cycle Management is an activity for defining and describing the product, process of activity environmentally. The activity involves the full life cycle stages of the product; evaluating environmental releases at each stage, determining the aggregate and specific impacts of the releases, developing opportunities to effect environmental improvements. This paper presents a methodological approach for database modeling to build Product Life Cycle Management system and show a set of database modeling. Additionally, a key issue for database is the quality of the provided information.

Approximate Life Cycle Assessment of Product Concepts Using Multiple Regression Analysis and Artificial Neural Networks

  • In the early phases of the product life cycle, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is recently used to support the decision-making for the product concepts, and the best alternative can be selected based on its estimated LCA and benefits. Both the lack of detailed information and time for a full LCA for a various range of design concepts need a new approach for the environmental analysis. This paper explores a new approximate LCA methodology for the product concepts by grouping products according to their environmental characteristics and by mapping product attributes into environmental impact driver (EID) index. The relationship is statistically verified by exploring the correlation between total impact indicator and energy impact category. Then, a neural network approach is developed to predict an approximate LCA of grouping products in conceptual design. Trained learning algorithms for the known characteristics of existing products will quickly give the result of LCA for newly designed products. The training is generalized by using product attributes for an EID in a group as well as another product attributes for the other EIDs in other groups. The neural network model with back propagation algorithm is used, and the results are compared with those of multiple regression analysis. The proposed approach does not replace the full LCA but it would give some useful guidelines for the design of environmentally conscious products in conceptual design phase.

자녀의 인적자본형성을 위한 가정의 총투자량과 영향요인 : 주부의 취업유무에 따른 비교

  • The purpose of this study is to identify how the households invest in their children as a human capital. In addition, contributing factors to households' human capital investment was examined. The results of this study are as follows; First, Average number of children 2 children of surveyed housewives, full time housewives had more time spent for children than working counterparts. The former spent 6.8 hours a day with the latter 4.98 hour a day while both of them shared the most time in nonphysical care of their children. meanwhile, money paid for children was that full time housewife family spent 1,014,000 and a working housewife family paid 974,000. Second, In the full time housewives, total amount of time housewives spend for their children was greatly influenced by the income, the age of the youngest child, and emotional value. The housewives' educational level, life cycle, and an income were a significant impact on money investment. Total investment was influenced by the housewives' educational level, life cycle, income, and the number of children.

  • After the year of 2000, the need of safety increases in field of railroad. The project for developing Integrated Centralized Traffic Control(CTC) center started at 2002 to control the full domestic railroad network. A traffic control software was required the safety activity and assessment, according to 'KORAIL Instruction number 2001-49'. There were many trials and errors to perform safety activity because the technology and recognition of safety activity is in primary stage. However the safety activities are gradually stabilized. This paper describes the safety life-cycle and development life-cycle of Integrated CTC S/W and a suitable life-cycle of safety to develop S/W of Integrated CTC.
