  • In recent domestic automotive industry, applications of computer simulation to the manufacturing of stamping dies for inner and outer body panels which greatly affect durability and aesthetic quality of automobiles, have been increased. Enhancement of die quality, and reduction of total die manufacturing time and consequently manufacturing cost are the visible outcome. However, to successfully apply the result of simulation by a commercial package to the die manufacturing, development of an optimal die manufacturing process is required upon the completion of analysis of forte and shortcomings of available sheet metal forming softwares in the market. Based on the results of numerical analysis of front door outer panel forming, this paper evaluates the applicability of simulation results to the real die making for automotive body panels. Also, it attempts to select an optimal die manufacturing process including design, machining and tryout. Lastly, it discusses the expected effects by adopting the selected process in a real stamping die manufacturing facility.

  • This study is to analyze site layout traditional government office building focused on Chonui-hyon(全義縣) in Chungchong province with Chungchong-do regional maps(忠淸道地方地圖) and Eupjis(邑誌, topography) being compiled in the late Chosun dynasty. The conclusion of analysis can be summarized as follows; 1. Chonui-hyon(全義縣) in Chosun dynasty is gone with a planning principle of the capital city(Han-Seong, 漢城) with disposing Sa-Ji-Dan(社稷壇) and Gaek-Sa(客舍), which are placed to the left and right of Eupchi(邑治), and it is followed in the wake of the spatial structure of Chosun dynasty palace with disposing Dong-Heon(東軒) in front, Nae-A(內衙) at the back of it, or from side to side, also by the Dong-Heon of the center, with organizing each facility around it. 2. Dong-Heon and Gaek-Sa of Chonui-hyon is passed through three step gate, Mun-Ru(門樓), Woi-Sammun(外三門), Nae-Sammun(內三門), from Hong-Salmon(紅門), and are shown hierarchy by haying been placed at the end of approach axis. 3. Dong-Heon can be disposed by Feng-Shui(風水) which have influence on the southeast direction with Jin-San(鎭山) and An-Dae(案對), on the other hand, Gaek-Sa can be disposed by symbolic of the authority of a king. 4. Site layout by function of provincial government office is provided into four ferrite, Dong-Heon, Gaek-Sa, Nae-A, practical business territory, and eve territory is organized by official institution on a social position to radiation, by the compositive axis to be made Woi-Sammun Nae-Sammun Dong-Heon Nae-A 5. Approach process of Chnui-hyon government office is three door system similar to Kam-Young(監營) in a different way two door system in most provincial government office, also approach axis is formed by bending.

귀촌형 공동체마을 단독주택의 개성화 - 남원 '작은마을'의 사례연구 - (Personalization of Detached Houses in the Back-to-countryside Community Village - Case Study of the 'Jagun-Maul' in Namwon -)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine the personalizing characteristics of detached housing that reflect the housing needs according to the residents' participation in the back-to-countryside community village. For this study, 15 households of Jagun-maul at Namwon in Jeonbuk provided responses to the semi-structured questionnaire on housing consciousness, housing needs, and views on lifestyle. In addition, 15 plans were analyzed about the shape of the plan, the composition of LDK, the type of access, and the type of special space. The results were as follows. 1) The number of households under the elementary education stage was larger than the number of households above the middle education stage. Most of the households revealed the housing consciousness of 'house as resting place'. Households under the elementary education stage showed a housing consciousness for family-oriented life and households above the middle education stage showed a housing consciousness to interact with neighbors. 2) Households under the elementary education stage preferred LK style while households above the middle education stage preferred LDK style. Most of the floor plans had a front entrance and sliding door for the access from living room to garden. 3) Special spaces such as a loft, 'Ondolbang' (room with underfloor heating), study, maru, 'Toenmaru' (narrow wooden porch), family room, workroom, and toilet with outside door were arranged on each floor plan.

S-BRT 운행행태를 고려한 저상버스의 정차시간 예측모형 (A Estimation of Dwell Time of Low-floor Buses considering S-BRT Operation Behavior)

  • This basic study introduces the concept of S-BRT and develops dwell time estimation models that consider road geometry and S-BRT characteristics for a signal operation strategy to meet the S-BRT's operational goal of high speed and punctuality. Field surveys of low-floor buses similar in shape to S-BRTs and data collection of passengers, station elements, vehicle elements, and other factors that can affect stop times were used in a regression analysis to establish statistically significant dwell time estimation models. These dwell time estimation models are developed by categorizing according to the locations of the signal or sidewalk that have the most impact on the dwell time. In this way, the number of people boarding and alighting the bus at the crowded door and the number of people boarding and alighting the bus at the front door considering the internal congestion was analyzed to affect the dwell time. The estimation dwell time models in this study can be used in the establishment of strategies that provide priority signals to S-BRTs.

재활치료를 받는 뇌졸중과 척추손상 외래환자들의 주거환경개선에 대한 요구도 조사 (Need Survey of Home Modification on Outpatient with Stroke and Spinal Cord Injury in Rehabilitation Center)

  • 본 연구는 재활치료를 받는 뇌졸중과 척수손상 외래환자를 대상으로 주거 유형, 장애유형, 일상생활 수행 정도에 따른 주거환경개선에 대한 요구도를 알아보고자 하였다. 서울 경기 지역의 재활병원이나 종합병원에서 재활치료를 받는 환자 54명을 대상으로 2012년 1월 2일부터 2월 4일까지 설문조사를 실시하여 기술통계와 $x^2$검정을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 주거환경개선에 대한 요구도가 장애 유형에 따라 현관의 계단이나 출입문의 폭, 욕실의 공간이용, 세면대, 양변기, 욕조, 샤워기 걸이와 세면대 높이, 거실과 침실 부엌, 베란다 공간이용 등에서 통계학적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 주거 유형에 따른 주거환경 개선요구는 출입문의 센서 등, 욕실의 휴지걸이와 콘센트 덮개의 개선이 통계학적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났으며 일상생활 수행정도에 따라 출입문의 폭과 문턱, 욕실의 휴지걸이와 수건걸이, 미끄럼 방지 바닥재, 샤워기, 부엌의 공간과 식탁, 의자, 베란다의 공간이용과 문턱, 조명 밝기의 개선 요구에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구를 통하여 주거 환경 개선에 대한 요구 정도가 장애유형, 주거 유형, 일상생활 수행 정도에 따라 다르다는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 앞으로 주거환경개선에 대한 평가와 치료적인 접근의 기초자료로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 한국원자력연구소에서는 현재 사용후핵연료의 효율적인 관리를 위한 차세대관리 종합공정 (ACP)의 실증용 핫셀을 건설중에 있다. 본 논문에서는 핫셀 내부의 리어도어(rear door)와 만나는 부분에 설치될 작업대(working table)의 구조적 안전성을 유한요소 해석을 통해 평가하였다. 이 부분의 작업대는 물품들의 반출입을 위해 개폐식으로 설계되었기 때문에 다른 작업대에 비해 지지 부위가 적으므로 구조적 안전성 평가가 반드시 필요하다. 핫셀을 가동할 때 작업대 위에 공정 장치들을 반입하거나 핫셀 크레인을 사용해 적재하게 되므로, 안전성 평가를 위해 정적 구조 해석과 동적 구조 해석들 함께 수행하였다. 해석 결과를 통해 두 경우 모두에 대해 개폐형 작업대가 구조적으로 충분히 안전함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 50 cm 낙하 충돌의 경우에도 작업대의 파손이나 붕괴가 일어나지 않고 안전성이 유지되었다.

제주도 천주교 공소 건축에 관한 연구 (A study on the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church in Jeju)

  • The main purpose of this study is to understand the existing and the architectural characteristics of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church in Jeju. The method of this study is to research all the literature and to visit. The time of establishment of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church in Jeju was mostly 1950's, and that time was the heyday of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church that was built in Korean. Catholicism was spread throughout Jeju during this time, and in the process, the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church was built. The Secondary Stations of Catholic Church in Jeju are sited mostly in coastal villages, and especially Catholicism was actively spread throughout the west of Jeju and the a large number Secondary Stations of Catholic Church were built in the west of Jeju. The Secondary Stations of Catholic Church were built between the mid-1950's to the mid-1960's. The plan type is kept as plan shaped of straight shape. When made an enlargement of the interior space and altered, framework of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church was generally maintained. The head of the side window and the front door have the same design characteristics. When the belfry is located, it is attached to an outer wall of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church, or is located to the left or the right the front of the Secondary Stations of Catholic Church. The design of belfry found expression in various forms. The buttress are not located in the others but in Young-su Gong-So, and it has not the structural functions but the design functions.

유비쿼터스 주택 거실 가구의 디지털 컨버젼스화를 위한 소비자 요구 분석 (An Analysis of the Customer Demand for Digital Convergence of the Furniture in the Living Space of Ubiquitous Home)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the customer demand for design development of digital convergence furniture in the living space of the ubiquitous home. This study used the individual survey method and was collected from July 1 to 20, 2008. The frequency and percentage were used for data analysis by SPSS window's 12. The results of the study were as follows: The first, a lot of survey targets were 30-40 years old, university graduates, over 50,000,000 won in annual income and 30-40 pyung in house size. The second, what types of activity were carried out in the living room were acquisition of knowledge>entertainment activity>communication activity>household chores. The third, what types of furniture were used in the living room were A/V furniture>table>sofa>computer table>bookself. The forth, customers preferred to picture telephone service in sociality, home-theater service in entertainment and home appliances remote control service in information service. The fifth, the digital functions which can integrate with the living roon furniture, in the item for A/V furniture, was front door control function which recognizes visitors with the screen. In the item for table was function to search internet and for sofa was self purification function. Finally, the digital convergence furniture is not only for one activity but also for various types of activities that can comprehensively function to materialize the concept of comfortable furniture in the living space.

함경도 출신 조선족 농촌주거의 공간적 특성과 변천에 관한 실태조사연구 (A Research on The Spatial Characteristics and Changes in Farmhouses of Ethnic Korean Chinese Origined From Ham-kyeong do)

  • The paper takes the rural housings of the Chaoxian nationality of Ham-kyeongdo in the three provinces in Northeast China as research object, to discuss the spatial form andthe characteristic of the change in the housing. The research result shows that the dwellings' plane forms in the Tumen River, the coast of Yalu River and the Sino Russian border are mainly traditional "Jeong-ji central type (J)", while in Heilongjiang are mainly "Jeong-ji and corridor central type (J-C)". In the evolution of living space and behavior patterns, there appears sliding door and partition between Jeongjibang and kitchen in the former, and Badang space in the front of the Kang and the behavior pattern remains its original seat-type lifestyle mainly. While there forms Dikang space and living space in the process of different cultures blend and modernization in the later and appears some upright-type behavior patterns. There is distinct characteristic in regional changes in both.

  • Crahworthy design of trains is now indispensable procedure in modern railway vehicle design for ensuring the safety of passengers and crew. It is now widely recognized that a more strategic approach is needed in order to absorb higher level energy in a controlled manner and minimize passenger injuries effectively. The first design step in this strategic approach is the design of the front end structure(so called HE extremities) to absorb a large part of total impact energy and then the structure of passengers non-accommodation zones(so called HE extremities) is designed to absorb the rest of impact energy. In this paper, the passengers entrance door area is selected as the LE(low energy) extremities and the design of the LEE was carried out. The main part of LEE design procedures is the design of energy absorbing tubes. For this purpose, the several tube candidates are introduced and compared to each others with numerical crash simulation.
