In medical institutions, there are radiation-related workers such as radiological technologists, physicians, dentists, and dental hygienists who handle diagnostic radiation generators. Also, there are work assistants, such as nurses and assistant nurses, who assist in radiation treatment or transfer patients to the radiation examination room. Radiation exposure management for radiation-related workers is carried out under the 「Medical Service Act」, but there is no legal basis for work assistants, etc. And the management of radiation exposure for diagnosis is regulated by the 「Medical Service Act」, and the management of radiation exposure by therapeutic radiation and nuclear medical examination is governed by the 「Nuclear Safety Act」. Thus, to improve the management of radiation exposure for diagnosis, the regulations on radiation exposure management for diagnosis under the 「Medical Service Act」 were compared and reviewed with those of the 「Nuclear Safety Act」. As a result, the main contents are as follows. First, it is necessary to legislate to include nurses, assistant nurses, and clinical practice students who are likely to be exposed to radiation besides radiationrelated workers as subjects of radiation exposure management for diagnosis. Second, when a radiation-related worker for diagnosis is confirmed to be pregnant, the exposure dose limit should be defined. Third, it is necessary to revise the regulations on the types of personal exposure dosimeters in the 「Rules on the Safety Management of Radiation Generators for Diagnostics」. Fourth, it seems that health examination items for radiation-related workers, radiation workers, and frequent visitors should be the same. Fifth, It is necessary to unify and regulate diagnostic radiation and all medical radiation, including therapeutic radiation and nuclear medicine, in one legal system.
The purpose of this study was to examine the state of conflicts among dental health care workers. A survey was conducted on 266 dental hygienists and nursing assistants who worked in dental institutions from September 12 to November 13, 2017, and SPSS(statistical package for the social science) version 20.0 was employed to analyze the collected data. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The most common reason of the dental hygienists for turnover was working hours and heavy workload(24.6%), followed by pay (22.6%), conflicts with dentists(16.0%) and conflicts with colleagues (11.3%). The most dominant reason of the nursing assistants for turnover was pay(31.1%), followed by working hours(24.4%), heavy workload(17.8%), conflicts with dentists(15.6%) and conflicts with colleagues(8.9%). 2. The largest reason for unsuccessful communication with dentists was that heavy workload reduced the opportunity to communicate well(54.5%). The second biggest reason was that they couldn't communicate well though they had the opportunity(24.0%), and the third greatest reason was that they tended to lag behind dentists in terms of professional knowledge(16.9%). 3. The biggest reason for unsuccessful communication among the dental health care workers was that they didn't have a lot of chances to communicate well on account of heavy workload(41.0%). The second largest reason was the differences in professional knowledge(24.9%), and the third greatest reason was that they couldn't communicate well though they had the chance(23.7%). 4. The most dominant reason for conflicts with dentists was the difference in power(24.0%), followed by poor communication skills(22.1%) and a lack of mutual respect(18.1%). But the opinions of the nursing assistants were different from those of the dental hygienists, as they cited poor communication skills as the most common reason, which was followed by the difference in power and a shortage of understanding of each other's work. 5. The most common reason for conflicts among the dental health care workers was a shortage of communication and communication skills(22.9%), and the second most dominant reasons were a lack of mutual respect and poor understanding of each other's work(17.5%), followed by a lack of mutual respect(17.2%). 6. As to the ways of resolving conflicts with dentists, the most common case was making some mutual concessions to compromise (28.9%), followed by delivering opinions through the staff meeting (23.9%), resolving conflicts by candidly exchanging opinions(15.8%), avoiding each other in moderation(11.7%) and following the opinions or assertions of dentists(1.3%). 7. Concerning the conflict resolution methods among the dental health care workers, the most prevalent way was making some mutual concessions to compromise(36.4%), followed by resolving conflicts by candidly exchanging opinions(23.0%) and conveying opinions through the staff meeting(18.5%). 8. Regarding communication among the dental health care workers, the dental hygienists(3.53±.729) considered themselves to be better at communicating than the nursing assistants(3.29±.745) did(p<0.05), and the dental hygienists(3.45±.809) who thought there was respectful treatment among workers who were different in occupational categories found themselves to be better than the nursing assistants(3.21±.952) who had the same thought did(p<0.05). As a result of analyzing whether frequent job-related meetings occurred among the workers whose occupational categories were different, the dental hygienists(3.05±.975) perceived that there were more frequent meetings than the nursing assistants(2.67±.955) did (p<0.01).

Conventionally injection molds & dies are manufactured through an order-oriented manner. This brings unexpected orders into the shop floor such as hot order, re-work, and new types of mold & dies. Thus, there needs appropriate resource assignment plans considering the available times of machines and workers. Further, a scheduling system is required that can create work schedules periodically or by customers' requests. Yet, in small & medium sized mold & die makers, production schedules usually depend on the shop floor workers' experience and their manual preparation. Hence, developed in this study is a scheduling management system (SMS) based on order release and review (ORR) in small and medium sized mold & die companies. The proposed SMS considers delivery dates as well as flexible work schedules, so as to meet frequent changes of customers' order. The system can provide effective resource assigning and work scheduling plans, securing standard data associated with shop floors. Furthermore, the system pursues economical schedules for companies' needs, equipped with an available to promise (ATP) function that can effectively accommodate the changes of production plans.

In order to obtain basic information for the extablishment of effectivce industrial safety programmes in heavy industries & construction companies, accident records for 366 injured workes were collected from January, 1989 to December 1991 and analyzed. The results were as follows : 1. The over-all incidence rate of industrial accidents was 2.98% per year 2. Accidents were common in the workers who are in thirties and twenties. 3. According to the duration of services, the workers with jobs on above than 3 years was the most frequent victims (64.2%) 4. According to the view point of working time, the highest incidence was observed just before the end of the work (17:00-19:00). 5. According to the month of year, the incidence was higher in August(14.0%) and May(14.2%), and lowest in January (3.3%) 6. The most common type of accidents was overexertion (24.9%). 7. According to the job, the highest incidence was observed fabrication. 8. According to the site of injuries, the incidence was higher the truck (27.0%) and fingers (25.1%).
Agricultural workers are often exposed to high levels of dust during field operations. A systematic exposure assessment of annual task-weighted exposure has not been thoroughly examined. The occupational dust exposure in two wine grape vineyards was measured. Exposure levels to total and respirable dust were determined for a 1-year cycle of work. An operation profile including the frequency of tasks was established. The means of total and respirable dust exposure were $1.08\;mg/m^3$ and $0.07\;mg/m^3$, respectively. Based on the exposure for each task and the task frequency, task-weighted mean exposures to total and respirable dust were estimated as $1.115\;mg/m^3$ and $0.079\;mg/m^3$, respectively. The task-weighted exposure was significantly represented by three operations and could be attributed to the exposure frequency rather than the exposure intensity of operations. The measurement of a few of the most frequent tasks may be an alternative method of estimating task-weighted exposure. Agricultural dust exposure can be significantly reduced by targeting those tasks most important to task-weighted dust exposure.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the burn characteristics of female patients hospitalized in a burn center. Methods: This is a retrospective descriptive study. The subjects were 222 female patients aged over 19 years old having burn injuries from work sites between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2014. Data were collected using electronic medical records about the burn-related characteristics. The data were analyzed descriptively. Results: Many of the subjects were in their forties and fifties. Most subjects showed burns with an area of less than 10% of the body surface with a severity of second degree. Scalding burns were the most frequent. Contact burns were usually of third-degree severity and occurred on hands and wrists. Flame burns affected the largest body surface area and frequently occurred on the face and mainly caused by explosion of a stove or kitchen gas. Chemical burns frequently occurred on the lower limbs. Conclusion: Female workers are exposed to the hazards of burn injuries in industrial accidents. Types of burn differ depending on the workplace conditions. Therefore, preventative measures for burn injuries should be established in accordance with the characteristics of each industry to which female workers belong.
The purpose of this study, which is related with local women's jacket Manufacturing companies in Seoul and Kyeong-Ki areas, is for the research of general problems, badness in those companies, noticing products' quality level, and full solutions of luxurious sewing technology and high quality products. The results of this study are as follows. 1. Most women's jacket manufacturing companies are poor and producing system is on a changing trend to the pair system. 2. A wage level of inspectors are low compared with working experiences and working period is short compared with working experiences. So, the separation rate was high. 3. The inspection form is full style, but some companies are just inspecting samples or frequent check. 4. Insperation method is highly at the rate of self-inspection and head office inspection. There are inspects in their factories and companies, but some companies don't. 5. There are lots of badness styles such as shrinking of fabric, contaminating of product, dying of fabric, pressing. 6. A work standard, workers' technical education, and giving purposes to workers are demanded for avoiding of products badness.

In the construction industry, concrete polishing is used to grind and rub the surface of concrete grounds with polishing machines to increase the strength of the concrete after deposition. Polishing is performed manually in spite of the generation of dust and the requirement of frequent replacements of the polishing pad. The concrete polishing robot developed in this research is a novel polishing automation system for preventing the workers from being exposed to poor working environments. This robot is able to change multiple polishing tools automatically; however, the workers can conveniently replace the worn-out polishing pads with new ones. The mobile platform of the polishing robot employs omnidirectional wheels to enable a flexible motion even in small and complicated workspaces. To evaluate the performance of the developed concrete polishing robot, extensive experiments including square trajectory tracking, automatic tool changing, actual polishing, and path generation simulation were performed.
We classify topics on fall incidents occurring in construction sites using topic modeling among machine learning techniques and analyze the causes of the accidents according to each topic. In order to apply topic modeling based on latent dirichlet allocation, text data was preprocessed and evaluated with Perplexity score to improve the reliability of the model. The most common falling accidents happened to the daily workers belonging to small construction site. Most of the causes were not operated properly due to lack of safety equipment, inadequacy of arrangement and wearing, and low performance of safety equipment. In order to prevent and reduce the falling accidents, it is important to educate the daily workers of small construction site, arrange the workplace, and check the wearing of personal safety equipment and device.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the safety and disaster prevention effects of the Smart Safety System used to prevent safety accidents in construction machinery and demonstrate its safety. Method: Among construction machines, the behavioral patterns of workers according to the presence or absence of a smart safety system were analyzed for excavators with high risk and frequent accidents. Result: When the smart safety system was installed in the construction machine, the safety of workers from accidents caused by constriction and collision with the construction machine was secured. Conclusion: It is judged that the smart safety system installed in construction machinery can increase the effectiveness of disaster reduction and major disaster prevention related to construction machinery.
