배터리 잔량과 태스크에 따른 저전력 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on Low Power Algorithm for Battery residual capacity and a Task)

  • In this paper, we proposed low power algorithm for battery residual capacity and a task. Algorithm the mobile devices power of the battery residual capacity for the task to perform power consumption to reduce the frequency alters. Task is different in power consumption according to kinds of in time accomplishment device to use. Adjustment of power consumption analyzes kinds of given tasks from having the minimum power consumption task to having the maximum power consumption task. Control frequency so that power consumption waste to be exposed to battery residual capacity can be happened according to the results analyzed. Experiment the frequency by adjusting power consumption a method to reduce using [7] and in the same environment power of the battery residual capacity consider the task to perform frequency were controlled. Efficiency was proved compare with the experiment results [7]. The experiments results show increment in the number of processing by 45.46% comparing with that [7] algorithm.

  • 본 논문에서는 이동기기에서 배터리를 고려한 저전력 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 이동기기에서 배터리의 잔량에 따라 태스크를 수행할 수 있도록 소모전력을 줄이는 방법으로 주파수를 변화시킨다. 배터리의 잔량이 수행하고자하는 태스크의 소모 전력보다 작을 경우 태스크를 수행시키기 위해 주파수를 낮춘다. 주파수 조절은 태스크에 따라 전체 시스템에서 사용되는 디바이스들 중에서 가장 높은 주파수를 가진 디바이스를 우선대상으로 수행한다. 주파수의 감소는 두 번째로 큰 주파수를 가진 디바이스의 주파수로 변화하여 소모전력을 계산한다. 계산된 소모전력이 배터리의 잔량보다 클 경우 단계적으로 주파수를 조절하여 소모전력을 낮추며 배터리의 잔량으로 태스크를 수행 할 수 있을 때 까지 주파수를 조절한다. 실험은 주파수를 조절하여 소모 전력을 줄이는 방법을 이용한[6]과 같은 환경에서 배터리의 잔량을 고려하여 태스크를 수행할 수 있도록 주파수를 조절하였다. 실험 결과 [6]에서 수행되지 않는 배터리 잔량에서도 태스크가 동작되는 결과를 나타내었다.

ETS: Efficient Task Scheduler for Per-Core DVFS Enabled Multicore Processors

  • Recent multi-core processors for smart devices use per-core dynamic voltage and frequency scaling (DVFS) that enables independent voltage and frequency control of cores. However, because the conventional task scheduler was originally designed for per-core DVFS disabled processors, it cannot effectively utilize the per-core DVFS and simply allocates tasks evenly across all cores to core utilization with the same CPU frequency. Hence, we propose a novel task scheduler to effectively utilize percore DVFS, which enables each core to have the appropriate frequency, thereby improving performance and decreasing energy consumption. The proposed scheduler classifies applications into two types, based on performance-sensitivity and allows a performance-sensitive application to have a dedicated core, which maximizes core utilization. The experimental evaluations with a real off-the-shelf smart device showed that the proposed task scheduler reduced 13.6% of CPU energy (up to 28.3%) and 3.4% of execution time (up to 24.5%) on average, as compared to the conventional task scheduler.

노인 케어매니저의 직무 분석 (Task Analysis of Korean Geriatric Care Managers)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to create a job description for Korean geriatric care managers and examine performance frequency, importance, and difficulty of task elements. Method: The sample consisted of 38 geriatric care managers and professors who performed duties related to geriatric care management at community based-facilities in Korea. A survey method was used, and the questionnaire included frequency, importance, and difficulty of task elements in job descriptions using the DACUM method. Using SPSS WIN 10.0, descriptive statistics such as frequency distribution, means, and standard deviation were conducted to examine the subject's general characteristics, frequency, importance, and difficulties of task performance. Result: The Job description of geriatric care managers revealed 10 duties, 34 tasks, and 105 task elements. On all ten duties, the average performance frequency, importance, and difficulty was 2.55, 2.21 and 2.43 respectively. Conclusion: The job description of geriatric care managers includes duty, task, and task elements and the definition of a completed job. Thus we recommend a data based trial to confirm and validate the information gathered.

반복 들기 작업에 따른 허리주변 근육의 근활성도와 근피로도에 대한 근전도 분석 (Electromyographic Analysis of Muscle Activity and Fatigue of the Paraspinal Muscles During a Repetitive Lifting Task)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a repetitive lifting task on the level of activation and median frequency of the paraspinal muscles, and to provide basic data of the maximal acceptable duration of the lifting task to avoid muscle fatigue. Ten healthy male subjects were recruited as participants and they repetitively (12 lifts/min) lifted a box ($46cm{\times}30cm{\times}30cm$, 15 kg) for 10 minutes. Electromyographic data (muscle activation and median frequency), heart rate, and Borg CR10 score were recorded at 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 minutes after the lifting task. Electromyographic data was recorded from the elector spinalis, mutifidus, external oblique abdominis, and rectus abdominis for 1 minute. The results showed that as the repetitive lifting task progressed, the heart rate and Borg CR10 score significantly increased. In addition, activation of the muscles increased. The median frequency significantly decreased over time in the elector spinalis, mutifidus, and external oblique abdominis (right side), except for the external oblique abdominis (left side) and rectus abdominis. It is suggested that the median frequency recorded from a dynamic task is used to monitor muscle fatigue. Furthermore, the repetitive lifting task (15 kg, 12 lifts/min) should not continue for more than 3 minutes in order to avoid muscle fatigue.

응급실 간호사의 업무중단과 업무중단으로 인한 업무상 문제 및 소진과의 관계 (Relationship among Task Interruption and Task Performance and Burn-out in Emergency Room Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the relationship among task interruption, task performance, and burn-out in nurses working at emergency room. Methods: The subjects of this study were 225 working at emergency rooms of 19 hospitals. Data was collected by using the structured questionnaire, including frequency of task interruption. problems in task performance due to interruption, and burn-out. Results: The average scores of task interruption were 2.06 due to communication, 1.49 due to treatment and record, and 1.39 due to other services (range 1-4). Frequency of task interruption was significantly correlated with task performance and burn-out. Conclusion: Emergency room nurses experienced some task interruption. The task interruption can influence upon task performance and burn-out of emergency room nurse.

말소리 산출에서 단어빈도효과의 위치 : 그림-단어간섭과제에서 나온 증거 (The Locus of the Word Frequency Effect in Speech Production: Evidence from the Picture-word Interference Task)

  • Two experiments were conducted to determine the exact locus of the frequency effect in speech production. Experiment 1 addressed the question as to whether the word frequency effect arise from the stage of lemma selection. A picture-word interference task was performed to test the significance of interactions between the effects of target frequency, distractor frequency and semantic relatedness. There was a significant interaction between the distractor frequency and the semantic relatedness and between the target and the distractor frequency. Experiment 2 examined whether the word frequency effect is attributed to the lexeme level which represent phonological information of words. A methodological logic applied to Experiment 2 was the same as that of Experiment 1. There was no significant interaction between the distractor frequency and the phonological relatedness. These results demonstrate that word frequency has influence on the processes involved in selecting a correct lemma corresponding to an activated lexical concept in speech production.

Characterization of Task-weighted Agricultural Dust Exposure of Vineyard Workers

  • Agricultural workers are often exposed to high levels of dust during field operations. A systematic exposure assessment of annual task-weighted exposure has not been thoroughly examined. The occupational dust exposure in two wine grape vineyards was measured. Exposure levels to total and respirable dust were determined for a 1-year cycle of work. An operation profile including the frequency of tasks was established. The means of total and respirable dust exposure were $1.08\;mg/m^3$ and $0.07\;mg/m^3$, respectively. Based on the exposure for each task and the task frequency, task-weighted mean exposures to total and respirable dust were estimated as $1.115\;mg/m^3$ and $0.079\;mg/m^3$, respectively. The task-weighted exposure was significantly represented by three operations and could be attributed to the exposure frequency rather than the exposure intensity of operations. The measurement of a few of the most frequent tasks may be an alternative method of estimating task-weighted exposure. Agricultural dust exposure can be significantly reduced by targeting those tasks most important to task-weighted dust exposure.

안드로이드 CPU 거버너의 전력 소비 및 실시간 성능 평가 (Evaluating Power Consumption and Real-time Performance of Android CPU Governors)

  • 안드로이드 CPU 거버너는 CPU 주파수를 낮추어 CPU 공급 전압을 감소시키는 DVFS (Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling) 기반 전력 관리 기법을 사용한다. 그러나 CPU 주파수의 감소는 태스크의 실행 속도 지연을 유발한다. 이로 인해 태스크의 응답 시간 및 마감 시한 초과율이 증가하여 태스크가 제공하는 서비스의 품질 하락이 발생한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 다양한 안드로이드 CPU 거버너들을 전력 소비와 태스크의 응답성 및 마감 시한 측면에서 분석하였다.

반복적인 손목 및 손가락 작업에서의 수작업 부하 평가 (Evaluation of manual workload in repetitive wrist and finger motion)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the manual workload in repetitive wrist and finger motion. To evaluate manual workload, angular displacement of the joint, EMG of the muscle and subjective rating were studied. Both wrist motion and finger motion were studied. A screw-driving task was used for the wrist motion experiment. A keyboard typing task was used for the finger motion experiment. All finger joint angles and wrist angles were measured by an angle-measuring glove($CyberGlove^{TM}$, Virtual Technologies, Inc.). Surface EMG was recorded from FCU muscle and FDS muscle simultaneously with the angle measurement. Subjective ratings of exertion were also recorded using the modified Borg's CR-10 scale. Repetition rates of 0.5, 1, 2 motions per second were used with each task. As a result, manual workload increased with increasing repetitiveness. Peak spectral magnitude and frequency components corresponded closely with joint angular displacement amplitudes and repetition rates. Results of the correlation analysis showed that there were significant correlation among EMG, frequency-weighted motion and subjective measurement. Both EMG and frequency-weighted filtering showed consistent workload estimation with increasing task frequency. Subjective ratings showed slight over-estimation of the workload as the task frequency is increased.
