This study was to investigate whether there are any differences in social competence by the frequency of young children's video and computer game use. Social development was categorized as peer popularity and social competence. The subjects were 215 children(118 boys, 97 girls) aged 4-6 years(M= 63.6 months, SD=6.8) from 3 kindergartens in Chung-Cheong Nam Do. The frequency of children's video and computer game use was reported by their parents. Peer popularity was rated by their classmates and social competence by their teachers with Kohn Social Competence Scale(KSCS). No significant relationship was found between game use and peer popularity. The children who played video and computer games once or twice a week got the highest score on the‘social interest and participation’But social cooperation dimension was not related with the frequency of video and computer game use but with the sex of children.

In the information society, the ability of learners to use computers to conduct self-directed learning is important. Indeed, the higher the computer's ability to use computers, the more the academic achievement needs to be analyzed. The purpose of this study was to identify longitudinal trajectories of student awareness of ICT literacy and frequency of computer use. We also examined the effects of the longitudinal patterns on academic achievement and college major choice. A non-parametric approach, K-means for longitudinal data(KML) algorithm, was conducted using 9-year longitudinal data from Seoul Education Longitudinal Study (2010-2018). Findings indicated that a pattern presenting a higher awareness of ICT literacy and frequency of computer use showed better academic achievements and was likely to prefer to choose engineering-related majors.

As the tendency of children's overdependence on smart phones increased, it was obligatory to carry out preventive education more than once a year in kindergarten and day care center, but there is no specific guidance on contents and method of preventive education. This is due to the lack of prior studies on the actual use of smartphones and the influence variables of infants and young children. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of use time, frequency of use, and sociological background variables on the actual situation of smartphone usage and overdependency on smartphone among 3-5 year old children nationwide. For the analysis, the frequency of the use of smartphone for 3-5 year old children was analyzed by frequency analysis, and the influence variables were correlated and multiple regression analysis. Research shows that smartphone overdependence of 3-5 year old children have an influence on the use time and frequency of use. The results should include content that restricts the use time and frequency of use of smartphones and prevention education programs for 3-5 year olds and young children. Suggesting a need for a transition to the educational method used.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of instructional multi-media in Home Economics Education perceived by teachers. The data for this research were attained from 139 middle & high school teachers of Home Economics. The data were analyzed by frequency of distribution, mean, stand deviation. t-test and analysis of variance, scheffe test with SPSSWin 7.5 program. The results of this study are as follows: The effects of instructional multi-media were composed of four dimensions in this study; need, frequency of use, pros and cons. 1. From these four dimensions, the need has the highest and the frequency of use has the lowest score. 2. The effects of instructional multi-media are significantly related to personal & environmental characteristics. 1)Need of the instructional multi-media effects is significantly different according to age, experience of computer education and possession of a computer at home. Low and high age groups are higher in the need of the instructional multi-media effects score than middle group age and the more experience of computer education and possession of a computer at home are higher in that score. 2) Frequency of use is significantly different according to LAN system in school. The higher score of frequency of use is in a LAN system’s school. 3) Pros of the instructional multi-media effects is significantly different according to the level of education, experience of computer education and the type of school. Undergraduate high school teachers and the lower o experience of computer education are higher in the pros of the instructional multi-media effects score. 4) Cons of the instructional multi-media effects is significantly different according to the level of education. Graduate teachers are higher in the cons of the instructional multi-media effects score.

In this paper, we propose a new tinnitus treatment system that removes the frequency band where the ear noises is generated and amplifies the around frequency bands in order to treat a nonstop buzzing in the ears, that is one among the disease commonly generated in modern people. Mostly the tinnitus is generated by the tunability with the neighboring nerves while the part of the cerebral cortex which is unable to react to the stimuli by the sound of the specific frequency band reacts to other frequency band. Therefore, the excitability activity by the tunability of the cerebral cortex is suppressed and the remedial value is gotten by removing the tinnitus frequency band, and the around frequency bands are amplified to strengthen the remedial value. Experimental results show that the tinnitus can be treated conveniently if the patients use the android application which the proposed technique is applied to.
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of the extent of information search on consumer satisfaction and to provide, ultimatly, effective consumer search for consumer satisfaction. Data for this study were collected from 452 computer purchasers who living in Seoul. This study has focused on new computer purchasers. The amount of internal information was measured by three categories, such as the number of computer purchase, the frequency, duration of computer use and the degree of computer education. In addition, the amount of prepurchase search was measured by threecategories, such as neutral information, commercial information and private information. The research results shows that the variables affecting on the level of consumer satisfaction are objective search, the degree of computer education, the frequency and duration of computer use, the number of computer purchase. Meanwhile, commercial information search and private information search are not significant affecting variables on the level of consumer satisfaction.

The existing methods for control between smart devices in near used Bluetooth, WiFi-Direct, or socket communication using Wi-Fi. However, those have a problem that can not use when operating system of each smart devices is different or when socket server is not working. In this paper, we proposed a new near control technology using High frequencies in audible frequency between smart devices to supplement the problem of existing methods. High frequencies use micro-phone and speaker of smart device and are a control signals that is combined high frequencies within 18kHz ~ 22kHz among audible frequency range. The proposed technology using High frequencies do not need any extra communication modules or socket servers and can use the most smart devices without operating system of devices. To evaluate the performance of the proposed technology, we developed a music play and music control application applied the proposed technology and tested a control experiment using the developed applications. The control success rate was 97% and recognition rate of surrounding people about using high frequencies was under 5%. Therefore, the proposed technology will be the useful technology to control between smart devices in near.

Power continues to be a driving force in central processing units (CPU) design. Most of the advanced breakthroughs in power have been in a realm that is applicable to workstation CPUs. Advanced power management systems will manage temperature, dynamic voltage scaling and dynamic frequency scaling in a CPU. The use of power management systems for microcontrollers and embedded CPUs has been modest, and mostly focuses on very large scale integration (VLSI) level optimizations compared to system level optimizations. In this paper, a dynamic frequency controlling (DFC) technique is introduced, to lay the foundation of a system level power management system for commercial microcontrollers. The DFC technique allows a commercial microcontroller to have minor modifications on both the hardware and software side, to allow the clock frequency to change to save power; results in this study show a 10% savings. By adding an additional layer of software abstraction at the interrupt level, the microcontroller can operate without having knowledge of the current clock frequency, and this can be accomplished without having to use an embedded operating system.
This study investigated the perception and utilization about computer of beginning secondary mathematics teachers by utilization frequency of computer. To increase utilization frequency of computer in school mathematics, our finding shows that beginning secondary mathematics teachers should have an interest in computer utilization and perceive computers as an important tool for mathematics learning. In addition, they are likely to use more frequently computer under the condition that computers have sufficient class materials and supplement their shortcomings that have derived less usage in math classes. Therefore, future studies have to investigate not only how to develope textbooks and run after-school classes but also how to make creative discretional activities by computer, which makes computers more useful for teacher training. In sum, the results of case studies for computer usability should be released to motivate computer utilization and increase mathematical thinking ability.

Mostly, artificial intelligence does not show any definite change in emotions. For this reason, it is hard to demonstrate empathy in communication with humans. If frequency modification is applied to neutral emotions, or if a different emotional frequency is added to them, it is possible to develop artificial intelligence with emotions. This study proposes the emotion conversion using the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) based voice frequency synthesis. The proposed method extracts a frequency from speech data of twenty-four actors and actresses. In other words, it extracts voice features of their different emotions, preserves linguistic features, and converts emotions only. After that, it generates a frequency in variational auto-encoding Wasserstein generative adversarial network (VAW-GAN) in order to make prosody and preserve linguistic information. That makes it possible to learn speech features in parallel. Finally, it corrects a frequency by employing Amplitude Scaling. With the use of the spectral conversion of logarithmic scale, it is converted into a frequency in consideration of human hearing features. Accordingly, the proposed technique provides the emotion conversion of speeches in order to express emotions in line with artificially generated voices or speeches.
