The purpose of this study was to investigate and offer useful information on natural dyeing underwear industry through an analysis of 20's purchasing behavior and design preference between male and female. From 600 questionnaires that were distributed, 512 with usable data were coded for further statistical analysis including descriptive statistics(frequency and chi-square test), by using SPSS 12.0 and the major results were as follows. Given that a large number of 20's purchase men's underwear by their parents, and women's of their own. It was found that the underwear for men in their 20's should be developed in an attempt to place greater emphasis on improving functions as an outerwear. It is important to strengthen the design and marketing strategy specially tailored to 20's of natural dyeing underwear products.

The purpose of this study was designed to investigate if self-monitoring variable among various individual trait theories and demographic variable would be variables which can explain about the importance differences of consumer service level of retailing in the garment product. The survey was conducted from Feb, 6 to 16, 2002. For this survey, the 118 data were analysed with spss window 9.0 version and Cronbach's, Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Frequency, mean, percentage were applied. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Consumer service was classified in attitude/confidence/expert knowledge of salesperson, product display, product information, product assortment, shopping environment, lighting setup. 2. As a result of analyzing the importance differences per consumer service dimension depending on self-monitoring levels, it was not significant differences. 3. As a result of analyzing the importance differences per consumer service dimension depending on demographic variables, it was not significant differences.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in recognition of brand and advertisement image according to the advertisement expression forms of domestic make-up cosmetics. This study was conducted by means of a questionnaire survey of female which age from twenties to the thirties. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency distribution, Percentage, mean, factor analysis, and paired t-test by the SPSS program. The results of this study were as follows. The brand and advertisement image of domestic Make-up cosmetics were classified into seven factors. : Of good quality, high-toned, modern, chic, unique, familiar, stimulative brand and advertisement image. The brand image and advertisement image recognition didn't correspond in general except HERCYNA and ETUDE.

In this work, a dielectrophoresis-based particle-separation device is developed which is to be used to continuously separate particles in microchannels. We fabricated the particle-separation device with combining the benefits of electrode-based DEP and insulator-based DEP. The DEP forces are generated by an array of electrodes located in both sidewalls of a main channel. According to the magnitude and frequency of electrical signals, particles with different dielectric properties experience different DEP forces, and therefore, continuously move along different streamlines in the main flow channel without need of pre-focusing process. Based on this mechanism, we examined the performance of the device by controlling the trajectory of polystyrene particles. This device is applicable to the investigation of dielectric properties of biological cells as well as the continuous separation of biological cells.

Studies have shown that the future of the wine market rests on the effective and efficient changes in technology to the supply chain used by most of the major global players. In today's wine industry, companies are faced with the ever-shifting demand for their products, strict regulation and increasing price competition. Even at that, mature companies in the wine industry are succeeding by scaling up production, streamlining their supply chains, expanding into new geographic areas, implementing more efficient processes, cleverly marketing products, and focusing on ever closer relationships with suppliers, partners and customers. However, this paper looks at supply chain challenges in the wine industry from a global perspective presented in the inbound, manufacturing and outbound processes as well as offer effective solutions in order for companies to gain a competitive advantage and succeed on a global level.

The trend toward more welfare living because of more leisure time has influenced the popularity of the community facilities in apartment housing. According to the residents' increasing interests for well-being life the changes and developments of the community facilities have been required in these days. The purpose of this research is to study these required changes and developments by analyzing the resident's using behavior of community facilities in apartment housing focusing on the educational and cultural facilities. For this purpose, this research intends to examine the existing conditions and problems of educational and cultural community facilities in apartment housing and to analyze the residents' using patterns such as frequency, preference and satisfaction and to comprehend the additional needs and requirements of the residents. The conclusions and suggestions of this research can be a basic data for the architects to design a resident-oriented educational and cultural community facilities.

In this paper, we compare the quality of images reconstructed by a conventional delayed-sum (DS) algorithm and radiation pattern-based DS algorithm. In order to evaluate the quality of images, we apply the target-to-clutter ratio (TCR), which is commonly used in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image assessment. The radiation pattern-based DS algorithm enhances the TCR of the image by focusing the target signals and preventing contamination of the radar scene. We first consider synthetic data obtained through GprMax2D/3D, a finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) forward solver. Experimental data of a 2-GHz bandwidth stepped-frequency signal are collected using a vector network analyzer (VNA) in an anechoic chamber setup. The radiation pattern-based DS algorithm shows a 6.7-dB higher TCR compared to the conventional DS algorithm.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of preparation for old age on the life satisfaction, and the mediating effect of productive activities on the relationship between preparation for old and life satisfaction among the old age in Korea. The subject for this study is 226 older adults who participated in the work fare program of community welfare centers. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS WIN(ver.18.0) program, and frequency analysis, descriptive analysis, multiple regression, and Sobel test were utilized. The result revealed that productive activities has a partial mediating effect between preparation for old Age and life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications were discussed.

As the advent of an aging society, housing for the elderly has been of greater concern. Since the majority of the elderly prefers to live in their own familiar houses rather than moving to new ones, this study is concerned with the ways of the effective use and maintenance of exiting houses from the viewpoint of their independent living. The data was analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS 10.0 for Windows. The findings from the study are: The general satisfaction rate of Interior Design Affordance(IDA) was-evaluated about the average. Among the items of IDA, behavioral facilitation was found most satisfactory, and perceptual maintenance, physilogical maintenance, and social facilitation were followed in satisfaction level. Although there had been many elements of serious safety dangers, no home modification was made in the elderly households who live alone or/with spouse.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the sex consciousness, sex problems and sex education of adolescence emphasizing the validity and necessity for the systematic enforcement of sex education. For this purpose, a questionnaire representing six categories, the relationship, with the opposite sex, sexual knowledge, sex consciousness, sex morality, sex problems, and sex education, was developed by the researchers. The subjects of this study was 224 middle school students and 267 hight school students in Seoul. Sex ratio of these subjects was about the same; For the satistical analysis of the collected data, frequency, Chi-square, and severed one way ANOVA’s and two way ANOVA’s were performed.05 was used as a significance level in this study. The most important findings in the study showed that most of the students wanted the systematic sex education in school, especially by the professionals in the sex education field.
