Thanks to information technologies, sharing economy services offer a new way of consumption. Carsharing appeared as a novel type of service that transformed the conventional way of personal transportation, from owning a vehicle to using an on-demand service. Allowing users to use a vehicle without owning a car, carsharing provides various social benefits such as the reduction of resource allocation inefficiencies and the alleviation of transportation problems. To strengthen such positive aspects of carsharing service, it is essential to understand an individual's service usage pattern and reveal factors that affect users' reuse behavior. This study investigates the factors that have an influence on carsharing reuse of users applying RFMC (Recency, Frequency, Monetary, and Clumpiness) model, the popular model for understanding the reuse likelihood of customers. Using data from a leading carsharing service provider in South Korea, we empirically analyze the effect of RFMC on carsharing reuse behavior. The findings show that recency and monetary values are negatively related to reuse while frequency is positively related to carsharing service reuse. Moreover, the impact of recency and monetary value are more salient whereas the impact of frequency is smaller among users with higher clumpiness. Based on these findings, this study elaborates on theoretical and practical implications.

A wide-area protection intelligent technique has been used to improve a reliability in power systems and to prevent a blackout. Nowadays, voltage and current phasor estimation has been executed by GPS-based synchronized PMU, which has become an important way of wide-area blackout protection for the prevention of expending faults in power systems. As this technique has the difficulties in collecting and sharing of information, there have been used a FNET method for the wide-area intelligent protection. This technique is very useful for the prediction of the inception fault and for the prevention of fault propagation with accurate monitoring frequency and frequency deviation. It consists of FDRs and IMS. It is well known that FNET can detect the dynamic behavior of system and obtain the real-time frequency information. Therefore, FDRs must adopt a optimal frequency estimation method that is robust to noise and fault. In this paper, we present comparative studies for the frequency estimation method using IRDWT(improved recursive discrete wavelet transform), for the frequency estimation method using FRDWT(fast recursive discrete wavelet transform). we used the Republic of Korea 345kV power system modeling data by EMTP-RV. The user-defined arbitrary waveforms were used in order to evaluate the performance of the proposed two kinds of RDWT. Also, the frequency variation data in various range, both large range and small range, were used for simulation. The simulation results showed that the proposed frequency estimation technique using FRDWT can be the optimal frequency measurement method applied to FDRs.

Communication technologies hold a significant place in the swarm flight of drones for surveillance, inspection of disasters and calamities, entertainment performances, and drone collaborations. A GCS(ground control station) for the control of drone swarms needs its devoted communication method to control a large number of drones at the same time. General drone controllers control drones by connecting transmitters and drones in 1:1. When such an old communication method is employed to control many drones simultaneously, problems can emerge with the control of many transmitter modules connected to a GCS and frequency interference among them. This study implemented a transmitter controller to control many drones simultaneously with a communication chip of 2.4GHz ISM band and a Cortex M4-based board. It also designed a GCS to control many transmitter controllers via a network. The hierarchical method made it possible to control many more drones. In addition, the problem with frequency interference was resolved by implementing a time- and frequency-sharing method, controlling many drones simultaneously, and adding the frequency hopping feature. If PPM and S.BUS protocol features are added to it, it will be compatible with more diverse transmitters and drones.
The concept of virtual synchronous generators (VSGs) is a valuable means for improving the frequency stability of microgrids (MGs). However, a great virtual inertia in a VSG's controller may cause power oscillation, thereby deteriorating system stability. In this study, a small-signal model of an MG with two paralleled VSGs is established, and a control strategy for maintaining a constant inertial time with an increasing active-frequency droop coefficient (m) is proposed on the basis of a root locus analysis. The power oscillation is suppressed by adjusting virtual synchronous reactance, damping coefficient, and load frequency coefficient under the same inertial time constant. In addition, the dynamic load distribution is sensitive to the controller parameters, especially under the parallel operation of VSGs with different capacities. Therefore, an active power increment method is introduced to improve the precision of active power sharing in dynamic response. Simulation and experimental is used to verify the theoretical analysis findings.

We propose a hybrid multiple access (HMA) for uplink orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) systems, which combines two resource sharing schemes: a scheduling-based resource allocation (SBRA) scheme and a contentionbased resource allocation (CBRA) scheme. The SBRA scheme is appropriate for non-real time high data rate traffic, and, CBRA is appropriate for near-real time low/medium data rate traffic. Thus, the proposed HMA scheme supports various types of traffic. As a CBRA scheme, our proposed random frequency hopping (RFH)-OFDMA scheme was presented. Simulation results show that the proposed HMA yields the best performance among various resource allocation schemes for uplink OFDMA systems.

In spectrum sensing, there is a tradeoff between the probability of missed detection and the probability of a false alarm according to the value of the sensing threshold. Therefore, it is important to determine the sensing threshold suitable to the environment of cognitive radio networks. In this study, we consider a cognitive radio-based ad hoc network where secondary users directly communicate by using the same frequency band as the primary system and control their transmit power on the basis of the distance between them. First, we investigate a condition in which the primary and the secondary users can share the same frequency band without harmful interference from each other, and then, propose an algorithm that controls the sensing threshold dynamically on the basis of the transmit power of the secondary user. The analysis and simulation results show that the proposed sensing threshold control algorithm has low probabilities of both missed detection and a false alarm and thus, enables optimized spectrum sharing between the primary and the secondary systems.
In this paper PLC Power Circuit with Hot-Swap Function is proposed for stable power supplies. The power modules of the proposed devices are implemented by CRM flyback converter using new synchronous rectifier circuit for high efficiency. By a variable switching frequency controller, this converter is operated with a reduced turn-on switching loss. Also, the load current in these power modules are shared by auto master / slave method using Outer loop. The proposed devices are analyzed in detail and optimized for high performance. Experimental results for a 100W power module at the variable switching frequency of 30$^{\sim}$70kHz were obtained to show the performance of the proposed device.

A development scheme for reliable radio-wave Propagation model of digital television (DTV) service, adequate to the domestic environment, is proposed in this paper. Throughout the analysis of several ITU-R recommendations on propagation models in DTV band, ITU-R P.1546, which is based on experimental data, has been selected as our basic model. This model has been programmed, not only to be directly used for engineering analysis, such as frequency assignment, licensing, interference analysis, and sharing frequency bands, but also to be applied for development of a propagation model adequate to the specific environment. Furthermore, the procedure of developing domestic propagation model for DTV service, combined with experimental data which is now being obtained, has been described in this paper.
The parallel inverter is popularly used because of its fault-tolerance capability, high-current outputs at constant voltages and system modularity. The conventional parallel inverter usually employs active and reactive power control of frequency and voltage droop control. However, these approaches have the disadvantages that the response time of parallel inverter control is slow against load and system parameter variation to calculate active, reactive power, frequency and voltage. This paper describes a novel control scheme for power equalization in parallel-connected inverter. The proposed scheme has a fast power balance control response, a simplicity of implementation, and inherent peak current limiting capability since it employees an instantaneous current/voltage control with output voltage and current balance and output voltage regulation. A design procedure for the proposed parallel inverter controller is presented. Furthermore, the proposed control scheme is verified through the experiment in various cases such as the system parameter variation, the control parameter variation and the nonlinear load condition.

Ultra wideband(UWB) technologies have been developed to exploit a new spectrum resource in substances and to realize ultra-high-speed communication, high precision geo-location, and other applications. The energy of UWB signal is extremely spread from near DC to a few GHz. This means that the interference between conventional narrowband systems and UWB systems is inevitable. However, the interference effects had not previously been studied from UWB wireless systems to conventional wireless systems sharing the frequency bands such as Broadcasting system. This paper experimentally evaluates the interference from two kinds of UWB sources, namely a orthogonal frequency division Multiplex UWB source and an impulse radio UWB source, to a Broadcasting transmission system. The receive power degradations of broadcasting system are presented. From these experimental results, we show that in all practical cases UWB system can coexist 35 m distance in-band broadcasting network.
