  • Online consumers were classified four groups by online buying frequency and shopping mall loyalty in this study; high frequency-high loyalty, high frequency-low loyalty, low frequency-high loyalty, and low frequency-low loyalty groups. Four groups were compared by Internet usage, flow experience, innovativeness, perceived risks of Internet shopping, Internet shopping behaviors, and demographics. Through an online survey of 396 Internet shoppers, there found significant differences of those variables among four groups. The implications for customer relationship management of Internet shopping mall are discussed and further researches are suggested.

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate importance level and performance frequency of the dietitians' duties and task elements, to examine the actual condition of education and need for education, to analyze the interrelation between their tasks and education, and to provide the direction of education for the contracted Business & Industry (B & I) foodservice dietitians. The task elements of receiving, ordering, HACCP management and directing serving process were done almost every day. In terms of the importance of tasks, food sanitation management, personnel sanitation management, receiving and ordering were high. Meanwhile, the computerization of their works was being carried out on the whole, showing a higher frequency in all the details of procurement management and accounting management, as well as task elements such as menu planning, leftover and food waste management, HACCP management and human resource management. In the past three years, HACCP management, cost management, planning work schedule and allotting a task, general business and sale bond management were increased most and rapidly. For the actual condition of education, dietitians got more education for the duty of sanitation, safe and facility/utility management than any other duty, while they did less education of procurement management and office management than others. Meanwhile, the education for sanitation, safe and facility/utility management and accounting management were very much required. For the relationships of frequency of duty and the necessity of education, seven task elements including food sanitation management were correlated positively. Eighteen tasks besides menu planning had a significant positive correlation between the importance of duties and the necessity of education.

  • During the fierce competition among the companies, improvement of logistics center managing efficiency is importantly recognized. Among them, studies on improvement of picking work process on about 55% of logistics center managing costs are continuously conducted. And, most of studies focus on analysis on strengths and weaknesses of picking method performable on the stage of logistics center design, etc, so the purposes of this research are to define load location rule by product releasing frequency in logistics managing environment based on conveyer and suggest expected effects by simulation analyzing method to improve picking managing efficiency.

  • Preventing incidents occurred in construction process is important for safe implementation of construction projects. Due to the complexity and magnitude of the project and moreover, poor safe planning and management, construction incidents in Korea have been increasing. Reducing construction incidents effectively, appropriate safety management program in consideration of the incident rate of each facility is to be adapted. This study analyzes incident frequency and severity rate of each facility based on the data of construction sites(about 1,560 thousand cases) recorded by Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency for 3 years from 2007 to 2009, and the incident related data (about 40 thousand cases) of Korea Workers' Compensation & Welfare Service. The results of this study revealed that construction incident rates of 'cold refrigeration storage facilities' are the highest among building types, followed by traditional building religious building, arcade department store and shopping center. In case of other facilities, the incident rate and the rate of intensity of 'pipelining project' are the highest, followed by 'tunneling project'. These results would be used in providing safety programs beneficial for preventing construction incidents.

  • In this paper, we present a frequency reassignment problem (FRP) that arises when we add new base stations to resolve hot-spots or to expand the coverage of a code division multiple access (CDMA) network. For this problem, we develop an integer programming (IP) model along with some valid inequalities and preprocessing rules. Also, we develop an effective heuristic procedure that solves two sub-problems induced from the original problem in repetition. Computational results show that the proposed heuristic procedure finds a feasible solution of good quality within reasonable computation time. Also, the lower bound by-produced from the heuristic procedure is quite strong.

  • Objectives : The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the hand washing management and tooth brushing frequency. Methods : The subjects in this study were 7,285 adults who were selected from the third-year(2009) raw data of the fourth national health & nutrition survey. Results : The mean frequency of daily toothbrushing was 3.35. Increases the frequency of both toothbrushing and hand washing with higher grade class. The higher the tooth brushing frequency, the intention of hand washing management at school and home was more increased. Conclusions : This study can contribute to the general health and oral health promotion.

  • Due to the customer needs of reducing cost and delivery date shorting, prompt change in the production plan became more important. In the multi period system (For instance, production line.) where target processing time exists, production, idle and delay risks occur repeatedly for multiple periods. In such situations, delay of one process may influence the delivery date of an entire process. In this paper, we discuss the minimum expected cost of the case mentioned above, where the risk depends on the previous situation and occurs repeatedly for multiple periods. This paper considers the optimal switching frequency to minimize the total expected cost of the production process. In this paper, first, the optimal switching frequency model is proposed. Next, the mathematic formulation of the total expectation is presented. Finally, the policy of optimal switching frequency is investigated by numerical experiments.

  • A problem of a unsteady time-dependent flow in a channel is of practical importance and widely considered in the design of devices such as heat exchangers, duct, and electronic equipments. The characteristics of fluid flow in channel with oscillating vortex generator was investigated experimentally. The main object of this study was to investigate the effect of the excited frequency, the excited amplitude, and Reynolds numbers on the generated frequency. Flow patterns were visualized using smoke generator and generated frequencies were measured using hot wire anemometer. When the excited frequency is increased, excited amplitude decreased and Reynolds number increased, the strength of PSD of generated frequency is decreased.

  • The approach to predict time series without neglecting the fluctuation in a short period is tried by using a digital FIR filter and a neural network. The differential waveform of the Nikkei average closing price is filtered by the FIR band-pass filter of 101 length. It is filtered into the five frequency bands of 0-1Hz, 1-2Hz, 2-3Hz, 3-4Hz and 4-5Hz by setting the sampling frequency 10Hz. The each filtered waveform is learned and forecasted by the neural network. The neural network of the back propagation method is adopted in the learning the waveform. By inputting the data of 20 days in the past, the prediction of 10 days ahead is carried out. After learning the time series of each frequency band by the neural network, the predicted data far each frequency band are obtained. The predicted waveforms of each frequency band are synthesized to obtain a final forecast. The waveform can be forecasted well as a whole.
