전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료가 인공와우 수술 아동의 감각처리, 문제행동, 청각행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Vestibular Sensory Integration on the Sensory Processing, Problem Behavior, and Auditory Behavior of Children With Cochlear Implants)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료가 인공와우 수술 아동의 감각처리, 문제행동, 청각행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 본 연구는 대전시에 거주하는 인공와우 수술 후 보조기기를 착용한 아동3명을 대상자로 모집한 후에 2019년 8월부터 2019년 11월까지 총 11주간 전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 연구 설계는 단일 사례 실험 설계방법(single subject design)으로 A-B 설계를 사용하였으며, 기초선 기간 4회, 중재기 15회로 진행되었다. 기초선 기간에는 감각통합치료를 제공하지 않고, 중재기에는 40분간 치료사와 함께 자유놀이를 진행하였다. 중재기에는 대전시의 아동발달센터에서 1회기 당 40분으로 전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료를 제공하였다. 중재 시작 전과 중재기 15회 직후 참여 아동의 감각처리 능력과 청각행동을 평가했다. 문제 행동 관찰은 기초선 자유놀이 시간에, 중재기에는 치료가 실시되는 시간에 아동을 관찰하여 기록하였다. 결과 : 전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료를 중재하기 전보다 후에 A, B, C 세 명의 아동에게서 감각처리와 청각행동의 긍정적인 변화가 있었고, 문제행동에서도 2표준편차 밴드 그래프에서 긍정적인 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과는 전정감각 중심의 감각통합치료가 인공와우 수술 아동의 감각처리, 문제행동, 청각행동에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 제시한다.

연극의 3요소가 없는 연극에 대한 연구 : 공연과 실험을 중심으로 (A Study of Theatre without its Three Elements : Focused on Performance and Experiment)

  • 본 연구는 연극의 3요소가 없는 연극에 대한 호기심으로 출발하여 공연과 실험을 통해 가능성을 밝혀 보고 각 요소의 확장과 동시에 새로운 형식의 발전을 도모하는 데에 그 목적을 둔다. 코로나19의 등장 이후, 연극은 현장성이라는 고유한 특성에 따라 비대면, 언택트 소통의 큰 한계에 부딪혀있다. 급변하는 세계 속에서 연극의 생존을 위해서는 기존의 공연 방식을 점검하고, 미래로의 발전을 위한 새로운 형식에 대한 고민이 절실하다. 이에 본 연구자는 더 본질적인 연극에 대한 탐구로 시작한 '연극의 3요소가 없는 연극 실험'을 중심으로 3요소(배우, 관객, 희곡)를 거시적인 관점으로 정리해본다. 또 공연과 실험을 통하여 이 요소들이 공연에 미치는 영향과 요소들의 제거에도 연극이 가능한가에 대해 고찰해보고자 한다. 연구는 한 번의 공연과 두 번의 실험으로 이루어져 있으며 기획자, 실험자의 인터뷰와 진행 내용 및 실험 참여자의 설문을 바탕으로 한다.

최소의 Forwarding Peer 선택을 통한 애드 혹 네트워크에서의 효율적 콘텐츠 분배 방법 (Efficient Content Sharing using the Selection of Minimum Forwarding Peers in an Ad Hoc Network)

  • 최근의 휴대용 기기들은 통신과 멀티미디어 측면에서 다양한 기능들을 장착하고 있으며 특히 WWAN(Wireless WAN)과 WLAN(Wireless LAN) 등 두 개 이상의 채널을 이용하여 인터넷 혹은 주변기기와 접속할 수 있도록 다양한 서비스가 개발되고 있다. WWAN 채널이 내려 받은 자료의 양과 비례하여 요금을 부과하는 경우 해당 통신비용을 절감하기 위하여 peer라 하는 무선기기들이 서로 공유하고자 하는 콘텐츠를 인터넷에서 내려 받을 때, 각 peer는 일부의 콘텐츠만 비용이 부과되는 WWAN을 통해 내려 받고 나머지를 비용이 부과되지 않는 WLAN을 통해 peer들이 애드 혹 네트워크를 구성하여 서로 교환함으로 비용과 시간을 절감할 수 있다. 교환 과정에서 모든 peer가 forwarding에 참여하면 여러 peer가 동일한 패킷을 중복 전송하게 되는 경우가 발생된다. 그러나 이웃한 peer의 패킷 forwarding으로 인하여 특정 peer는 더 이상의 forwarding이 필요 없는 경우가 발생하는데, 본 논문에서는 forwarding이 필요 없는 peer를 선별하는 excluding 방식과 최소한의 peer로 forwarding을 수행하는 minimum cover set 방식등 두 가지 해결방식을 소개한다. 소개된 두 가지 방식을 이용하면 모든 peer가 forwarding 하는 방식에 비해 분배완료 시간을 더욱 단축할 수 있으며, 모의실험을 통해 최대 29% 정도 분배완료 시간이 단축되었다.

인삼양영탕(人蔘養營湯)의 산화적 stress에 대한 뇌세포 보호효과 (Neuroprotective Effect of Insamyangyung-tang)

  • Purpose: Oxidative stress was thought to play a critical role in neurodegenerative disease. Many in vivo and in vitro reports explained the possible pathway of human aging. But in therapeutic aspects, there was no clear answers to prevent aging associated with neural diseases. In this study, we investigated the antioxidant and neuroprotective effects of the Insamyangyung-tang (IYT). Methods: To estimate the antioxidant effects, we carried out 1.1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging assay, 2,2'-azinobis-(3- ethylbenzothiazoline-6- sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical cation decolorization assay, and measurement of total polyphenolic content. To evaluate neuroprotective effect of IYT in vitro. We performed thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, reactive oxygen species (ROS) creation in SH-SY5Y. Tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) immunocytochemistry, nitric oxide (NO) assay, and TNF-${\alpha}$ assay in primary rat mesencephalic dopaminergic neurons. Results: The $IC_{50}$ values were $571.6{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ and $202.3{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ in DPPH and ABTS assay respectively. Total polyphenolic content was 1.05%. In SH-SY5Y culture, IYT significantly increased the decreased cell viability by 6-OHDA at the concentrations of $10{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ in pre-treatment group, $10-100{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ in post-treatment group, and $100{\mu}g/m{\ell}$ in co-treatment group. The production of ROS induced by 6-OHDA was significantly inhibited in IYT treated group. In mesencephalic dopaminergic cell culture, the IYT group reduced the dopaminergic cell loss against 6-OHDA toxicity and the production of No and TNF-${\alpha}$ at the concentration of $0.2{\mu}g/m{\ell}$. Conclusion: These results showed that IYT has antioxidant and neuroprotectctive effects in the dopaminergic cells through decreasing the production of ROS, NO and TNF-${\alpha}$ which can cause many neurodegenerative changes in brain cell.

  • Piezoelectric ceramics play an important role in various electronic applications. However, traditional ceramics are difficult to be used in some complicated structures, due to their low flexibility and high brittleness. To solve this problem, this study prepared and investigated ceramic/polymer composites that can utilize a good flexibility of polymers. Polyvinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene (PVDF-TrFE) and 0.77(Bi1/2Na1/2)TiO3-0.23SrTiO3 (BNST23) ceramics were selected to fabricate the composites. Ceramic/polymer composites were prepared using various volume fractions of BNST23 ceramics. The distribution of piezoceramic particles in BNST23/PVDF-TrFE composites was investigated using optical microscopy (OM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of the composites were significantly influenced by the volume fraction of the piezoelectric ceramics. As a result, the highest piezoelectric constant (d33) of 56 pC/N was obtained in a composites with 70% volume fraction of BNST23 ceramics. Accordingly, it is expected that BNST23/PVDF-TrFE composites can be applied to various sensor applications.

  • 글로벌 비즈니스 환경이 급변함에 따라 각국의 경제정책 패러다임도 지속적으로 변화한다. 그중 중소기업 육성은 많은 선진국의 핵심적인 정책으로 자리 잡았다. 중소기업의 성장은 고용 없는 성장시대의 일자리 창출과 지역사회 발전에 기여한다. 특히, 중소기업의 성장은 중견기업, 대기업으로 성장하는 밑거름이 된다. 따라서 중소기업의 성장은 국가 경제에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다. 최근 4차 산업혁명으로 정보통신기술이 주목받는 가운데, ICT 중소기업의 성장은 국가 미래산업으로 주목받고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 ICT 중소기업의 성과에 연구개발 요인이 어떠한 영향을 미치는 검증한다. 이를 위해 과학기술정보통신부에서 조사한 ICT 중소기업 실태조사의 응답을 바탕으로 실증한다. 실증분석 결과 첫째, 자원기반이론에 입각한 ICT 중소기업의 연구개발 투자, 연구개발 인력, 정부지원정책은 기업의 경쟁우위 확보에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업의 경쟁우위인 4차 산업활용, 제품의 수준은 기업의 매출에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 기업의 성장단계에 따라 인수합병 및 기술확보방법이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 ICT 중소기업의 기술혁신과 기업성과를 달성하기 위해서는 정부 지원정책과 내부 연구개발 인력 확보 및 투자가 주요 요인이며, 기업의 성장단계에 따라 기술확보전략이 다른 것으로 나타났다.

Why A Multimedia Approach to English Education\ulcorner

  • To make a long story short I made up my mind to experiment with a multimedia approach to my classroom presentations two years ago because my ways of giving instructions bored the pants off me as well as my students. My favorite ways used to be sometimes referred to as classical or traditional ones, heavily dependent on the three elements: teacher's mouth, books, and chalk. Some call it the 'MBC method'. To top it off, I tried audio-visuals such as tape recorders, cassette players, VTR, pictures, and you name it, that could help improve my teaching method. And yet I have been unhappy about the results by a trial and error approach. I was determined to look for a better way that would ensure my satisfaction in the first place. What really turned me on was a multimedia CD ROM title, ELLIS (English Language Learning Instructional Systems) developed by Dr. Frank Otto. This is an integrated system of learning English based on advanced computer technology. Inspired by the utility and potential of such a multimedia system for regular classroom or lab instructions, I designed a simple but practical multimedia language learning laboratory in 1994 for the first time in Korea(perhaps for the first time in the world). It was high time that the conventional type of language laboratory(audio-passive) at Hahnnam be replaced because of wear and tear. Prior to this development, in 1991, I put a first CALL(Computer Assisted Language Learning) laboratory equipped with 35 personal computers(286), where students were encouraged to practise English typing, word processing and study English grammar, English vocabulary, and English composition. The first multimedia language learning laboratory was composed of 1) a multimedia personal computer(486DX2 then, now 586), 2) VGA multipliers that enable simultaneous viewing of the screen at control of the instructor, 3) an amplifIer, 4) loud speakers, 5)student monitors, 6) student tables to seat three students(a monitor for two students is more realistic, though), 7) student chairs, 8) an instructor table, and 9) cables. It was augmented later with an Internet hookup. The beauty of this type of multimedia language learning laboratory is the economy of furnishing and maintaining it. There is no need of darkening the facilities, which is a must when an LCD/beam projector is preferred in the laboratory. It is headset free, which proved to make students exasperated when worn more than- twenty minutes. In the previous semester I taught three different subjects: Freshman English Lab, English Phonetics, and Listening Comprehension Intermediate. I used CD ROM titles like ELLIS, Master Pronunciation, English Tripple Play Plus, English Arcade, Living Books, Q-Steps, English Discoveries, Compton's Encyclopedia. On the other hand, I managed to put all teaching materials into PowerPoint, where letters, photo, graphic, animation, audio, and video files are orderly stored in terms of slides. It takes time for me to prepare my teaching materials via PowerPoint, but it is a wonderful tool for the sake of presentations. And it is worth trying as long as I can entertain my students in such a way. Once everything is put into the computer, I feel relaxed and a bit excited watching my students enjoy my presentations. It appears to be great fun for students because they have never experienced this type of instruction. This is how I freed myself from having to manipulate a cassette tape player, VTR, and write on the board. The student monitors in front of them seem to help them concentrate on what they see, combined with what they hear. All I have to do is to simply click a mouse to give presentations and explanations, when necessary. I use a remote mouse, which prevents me from sitting at the instructor table. Instead, I can walk around in the room and enjoy freer interactions with students. Using this instrument, I can also have my students participate in the presentation. In particular, I invite my students to manipulate the computer using the remote mouse from the student's seat not from the instructor's seat. Every student appears to be fascinated with my multimedia approach to English teaching because of its unique nature as a new teaching tool as we face the 21st century. They all agree that the multimedia way is an interesting and fascinating way of learning to satisfy their needs. Above all, it helps lighten their drudgery in the classroom. They feel other subjects taught by other teachers should be treated in the same fashion. A multimedia approach to education is impossible without the advent of hi-tech computers, of which multi functions are integrated into a unified system, i.e., a personal computer. If you have computer-phobia, make quick friends with it; the sooner, the better. It can be a wonderful assistant to you. It is the Internet that I pay close attention to in conjunction with the multimedia approach to English education. Via e-mail system, I encourage my students to write to me in English. I encourage them to enjoy chatting with people all over the world. I also encourage them to visit the sites where they offer study courses in English conversation, vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, reading, and writing. I help them search any subject they want to via World Wide Web. Some day in the near future it will be the hub of learning for everybody. It will eventually free students from books, teachers, libraries, classrooms, and boredom. I will keep exploring better ways to give satisfying instructions to my students who deserve my entertainment.

전통화조화의 사실적(寫實的) 표현과 시정적(詩情的) 색채표현 (A Study on Lyricism Expression of Color & Realistic Expression reflected in Oriental Painting of flower & birds)

  • Colors change in time corresponding with the value system and aesthetic consciousness of the time. The roles that colors play in painting can be divided into the formative role based on the contrast and harmony of color planes and the aesthetic role expressed by colors to represent the objects. The aesthetic consciousness of the orient starts with the Civility(禮) and Pleasure(樂), which is closely related with restrained or tempered human feelings. In the art world of the orient including poem, painting, and music, what are seen and felt from the objects are not represented in all. Added by the sentiment laid background, the beauty of the orient emphasizes the beauty of restraint and temperance, which has long been the essential aesthetic emotion of the orient. From the very inception of oriental painting, colors had become a symbolic system in which the five colors associated with the philosophy of Yin and Yang and Five Forces were symbolically connected with the four sacred animals of Red Peacock, Black Turtle, Blue Dragon, and White Tiger. In this color system the use of colors was not free from ideological matters, and was further constrained by the limited color production and distribution. Therefore, development in color expression seemed to have been very much limited because of the unavailability and unreadiness of various colors. Studies into the flow in oriental painting show that color expression in oriental painting have changed from symbolic color expression to poetic expression, and then to emotional color expression as the mode of painting changes in time. As oriental painting transformed from the art of religious or ceremonial purpose to one of appreciation, the mast visible change in color expression is the one of realism(simulation). Rooted on the naturalistic color expression of the orient where the fundamental properties of objects were considered mast critical, this realistic color expression depicts the genuine color properties that the objects posses, with many examples in the Flower & Bird Painting prior to the North Sung dynasty. This realistic expression of colors changed as poetic sentiments were fused with painting in later years of the North Sung dynasty, in which a conversion to light ink and light coloring in the use of ink and colors was witnessed, and subjective emotion was intervened and represented. This mode of color expression had established as free and creative coloring with vivid expression of individuality. The fusion of coloring and lyricism was borrowed from the trend in painting after the North Sung dynasty which was mentioned earlier, and from the trend in which painting was fused with poetic sentiments to express the emotion of artists, accompanied with such features as light coloring and compositional change. Here, the lyricism refers to the artist's subjective perspective of the world and expression of it in refined words with certain rhythm, the essence of which is the integration of the artist's ego and the world. The poetic ego projects the emotion and sentiment toward the external objects or assimilates them in order to express the emotion and sentiment of one's own ego in depth and most efficiently. This is closely related with the rationale behind the long-standing tradition of continuous representation of same objects in oriental painting from ancient times to contemporary days. According to the thoughts of the orient, nature was not just an object of expression, but recognized as a personified body, to which the artist projects his or her emotions. The result is the rebirth of meaning in painting, completely different from what the same objects previously represented. This process helps achieve the integration and unity between the objects and the ego. Therefore, this paper discussed the lyrical expression of colors in the works of the author, drawing upon the poetic expression method reflected in the traditional Flower and Bird Painting, one of the painting modes mainly depending on color expression. Based on the related discussion and analysis, it was possible to identify the deep thoughts and the distinctive expression methods of the orient and to address the significance to prioritize the issue of transmission and development of these precious traditions, which will constitute the main identity of the author's future work.

Weight Loss Correlates with Macrophage Inhibitory Cytokine-1 Expression and Might Influence Outcome in Patients with Advanced Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

  • Background: Weight loss during chemotherapy has not been exclusively investigated. Macrophage inhibitory cytokine-1 (MIC-1) might play a role in its etiology. Here, we investigated the prognostic value of weight loss before chemotherapy and its relationship with MIC-1 concentration and its occurrence during chemotherapy in patients with advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Materials and Methods: We analyzed 157 inoperable locally advanced or metastatic ESCC patients receiving first-line chemotherapy. Serum MIC-1 concentrations were assessed before chemotherapy. Patients were assigned into two groups according to their weight loss before or during chemotherapy:>5% weight loss group and ${\leq}5%$ weight loss group. Results: Patients with weight loss>5% before chemotherapy had shorter progression-free survival period (5.8 months vs. 8.7 months; p=0.027) and overall survival (10.8 months vs. 20.0 months; p=0.010). Patients with weight loss >5% during chemotherapy tended to have shorter progression-free survival (6.0 months vs. 8.1 months; p=0.062) and overall survival (8.6 months vs. 18.0 months; p=0.022), and if weight loss was reversed during chemotherapy, survival rates improved. Furthermore, serum MIC-1 concentration was closely related to weight loss before chemotherapy (p=0.001) Conclusions: Weight loss both before and during chemotherapy predicted poor outcome in advanced ESCC patients, and MIC-1 might be involved in the development of weight loss in such patients.

항산화제로서 비타민 C가 적출된 쥐심장에서 허혈 및 재관류후 좌심실 기능회복에 미치는 영향 (Effects of vitamin C as antioxidant on recovery of left ventricular function after ischemia and reperfusion in isolated rat heart)

  • 과거에 심근보호에 대한 많은 조사는 저온의 고칼릅 심정지액 및 국소적 냉각에 의한 방법으로는한 계가 있다는 지적이 있었다. 따라서 최근의 실험들은 재관류의 방법에 따른 허혈 후 심근회복에 대하여 촛점이 맞춰 지고 있다. 재관류 시 산소에 의한 심근손상이 밝혀 짐으로써 oxygen free radical scavenger에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 따라서 본 교실에서는 쥐에게 항산화제로서 비타민 C를 먹인 후 Langendorf'r system을 이용하여 허혈 및 재관류 시 좌심실 기능의 변화를 관찰하였다 대상은 체중 190-))Og의 Sprague-Dawley쥐를 암수 구별없이 사용하였다. 편의상 비타민을 먹이지 않 은 대조군을 Group A (n=10)라 하였고 200mg의 비타민을 먹인 실험군을 Group R (n=10)라 하였다. 실 험군의 경우는 비타민 C 200mg을 경구투여한 후 24시간에 시행하였다. 방법은 언저 복강을 통해 헤파 린과 펜토탈을 주입한 후 심장을 적출하여 Langendorff system에 거치하고 비운동성 역관류를 시켰다. 관류액은 변형된 Krebs-Henseleit solution을 사용하였다. 좌심실내에 풍선을 삽입하여 polygraph를 통해 좌심실의 혈역학적 기능을 관찰하였다. 먼저 20분간 심 揚\ulcorner안정될 때까지 기다린 다음 51. Thomas심 정 지액으로 심정 지를 시킨후 30분간 허 혈시키고 다시 20분간 재관류시켰다. 각 Group에서 허혈전후의 좌심실압의 비, dp/dt의 비,박동수의 비, 재관류 후 첫 박동 및 안정될 때 까지의 시간을Group간에 비 교하였다. 좌심실압의 비는 Group A가 평균 88.9%, Group B가 114%로 실험군이 의의있게 높았으며 역시 dp/dt도 Group A가 89.6%, Group B가 1)2.9%로 실험군이 의의 있게 높았다 그러나 박동수의 비, 재관류 후 첫 박동 및 안정될 때 까지의 시간의 비교는 통계 학적 의의가 없었다. 결론적으로 항산화제로서 비타민 C는 허혈 및 재관류 시 좌심실 기능회복에 도움이 되었다. 그러나 향후 임상적 적용을 위해서는 더욱 자세하고 많은 실험 이 요구된다.
