The development of mobile phone is growing everyday according to the change of our age. Most of all, the birth of smart phone has gotten lots of attentions. The Smart Phone has not only nalogue functions for calling and receiving but also has many multiple-service functions satisfying the contemporary digital needs. Due to the smart phone, people could access to various and plenty information simply by touching it. It was Sep. 2011 that the number of smart phone users began to be more than 15,000,000. That number stands for the turning point of digital revolution. In Korea, both of "Omnia" from Samsung and "i-phone" from Apple came into the market near the end of 2009. That time was so called the full-scale first smart-phone war, and thinking of the time, it could be named as the explosive growth of smart phones. We can predict that the smart phone will influence the real life of human beings not only the mobile phone market. In this way, the smart phone has come deeply into our life day by day. For instance, more people can be able to get the informations of their trip for their leisure and free weekends through the smart phone. Thus, our study, began with the theme of "Korean islands trip", will start in the relationship with the Application-Services, "Islands" utilizing web-pictures.

Although Dokdo, small and dependent islands of Ulleung County, can be considered critical in terms of both geo-politics and physical geography, it is clear that Korean geographers have been too silent tn study Dokdo. In the author's view, such tendency is partly due to difficulties in access to Dokdo. In this sense this study would be meaningful for inquiring into the regional geomorphology of Dokdo regardless of only three-day field work. The major findings of the study are as follows. Firstly, the geology of Dokdo is composed of 8 rock units. Secondly, in a slope analysis of Dokdo volcano using GIS tool, steep slopes over $26^{\circ}$ account for 79.1% of whole slopes and even free faces, defined as slopes over $40^{\circ}$, account for 65.4%. Thirdly, the main landforms of Dokdo constitute volcanic landform, coastal landform and the others, such as talus, dyke, tafoni and erosional hollow. Fourthly, it turns out that advanced landform classification map of Dokdo can be designed by taking an approach tn regional geomorphology. Finally, based on a detailed review of the latest geological literature, I argue that part of landforms of East Dokdo(dongdo) is closer tn an erosional hollow than a small crater.

Equine respiratory disease is a common cause of poor performance and training interruptions. The higher incidence rate of infectious upper respiratory disease (IURD) in thoroughbred racehorses at the Seoul Race Park coincided with the frequent stabling season, shorter stabling periods, and younger ages in this study. Incidence rates were also correlated with significantly lower proportions of cells expressing MHC class II-, CD2 antigen-, $CD4^+$- or $CD8^+$-T lymphocyte-, and B lymphocyte in IURD patients compared with healthy control groups in the summer and fall and in 2-and-3-year-old groups. The data suggested that movement and new environments may have resulted in immunosuppression and inappropriate responses to respiratory pathogens in IURD patients. The IURD incidence decreased with age, perhaps by the acquisition of immunity, and study results suggested that immunologic protection was associated with IURD, particularly in young thoroughbred racehorses. Streptococci isolates were identified in 11 of 72 IURD horses, and 3 of these isolates were identified as Streptococcus. equi subsp. equi. S. equi subsp. zooepidemicus was isolated from 2 of 23 IURD horses in the spring (8.7%), 5 of 23 in the summer (21.7%), and 1 of 6 in winter (16.7%). S. equi subsp. zooepidemicus (5%) was also identified in 3 of 61 isolates from clinically normal horses. Racetracks should implement anti-IURD protective measures by assessing the capacity of equine immunologic protection at the Park and by limiting the introduction of specific respiratory pathogens (such as S. equi subsp. equi) by preventing the access of infected but subclinical horses with a specified respiratory pathogen-free certification system prior to Park entry.
This paper studied the scheme to realize the manifesto as the method of resolving the side effects after the introduction of the superintendent's election system, a direct election by local residents, in order to implement participative democracy in the educational field. When the superintendent's election system playing an important role in protecting the identity of a state is intruded by the political logic, ideology or factional interest, it leads to the educational crisis such as the damaged independence of the policy and the like. The local educational autonomous system is the institutional arrangement to secure the independence and neutrality of education based on morality and guarantee the democratization and decentralization of educational administration. The scheme to resolve the corrupt aspect of the election of the superintendent is to lead election to the policy-based election. This paper presents the scheme to realize the manifesto movement of the superintendent's electoral campaign to resolve this side effect. All political agents and candidates should be allowed to make free access to diverse information to draw up the manifesto and raise the reliability of the manifesto itself, be guaranteed neutrality, speciality, objectiveness, fairness and the like. In particular, it can be seen that the core task is whether citizens can be involved in the manifesto movement through a shift in their thinking about educational autonomy.

Objective : Percutaneous lumbar approaches such as arthroscopic discectomy, laser discectomy, and nucleotome remain controversial and have technical limitations to free fragment disc, bony pathology and access to L5-S1, The purpose of this study was to determine efficacy of this new endoscopic system and to report techniques and tactics. Methods : From July 1997 to May 1998, we treated 40 consecutive patients(43 levels) with the MED system. Mean age was 32 years(range ; 18 to 62). There were 30 males and 10 females. All patients had sciatica with SLRT limitation. There were 23 patients with disc herniation at L4-5 and 14 patients at L5-S1. Three patients had 2 level disc herniations. There was one far lateral disc herniation at L4-5. Results : Using modified MacNab criteria, there were 37 excellent results and 3 good result. Most patients were discharged within 3-4 days except 2 patients with dural tearing. There were no other complications. Mean operation time was 1.5 hours(range : 40 minutes to 2.5 hours). Conclusion : The MED system is a reliable approach to lumbar disc herniations. This system combines the advantages of conventional open surgery and a minimally invasive technique. As tactics for the doctors who wish to attempt, "palpate" the lamina by first dilator, identification of interlaminar space by removal of overlying soft tissue and confirmation of the shoulder portion of nerve root before discectomy are important to this procedure. We conclude that lumbar disc herniations can be successfully treated with MED approach.
In the forthcoming 21st century new technical and scientific developments in outer space demands new approaches towards the problems arising in several fields of the use and exploitation of outer space including practical applications. The main purposes of this study are to analyze the legal problems of geostationary orbital position, telecommunication, direct television broadcasting by uses of artificial satellites. Communication via artificial Earth satellites was one of the first applications of space technology and is now one of the most developed field. From the technical and economic standpoints the advantages of world-wide satellites communication system are too all obvious. However, as the practical uses of space technology become more freguent, the legal conflicts among nations have become more divisive. One of the problem grown in uses of artificial satellites is that of the increasing shortage of suitable orbital slot positions for satellites, especially in geostationary orbit. Legal status of geostationary orbit as a limited resourece have to be reviewed in consideration of the side effect of the "First use, first-served" principle. The geostationary orbit is to be used for the benifits of all mankind and to be guaranteed for each state institutionaly in order to have eguitable access to the use of the orbit. Rapid increase of satellites broadcasting system in not only developed countries but also in developing countries opened up new possibilities with one another's scientific and cultural achievements. But there is also a potential danger that this powerful new instrument of influencing public opinion will be abused. Such a danger incudes spill-over or harmful interference. This controversial issue brings about the question whether prior consent from the receiver nation is needed to broadcast across international boundaries. Some states have rejected prior consent because it interfere with the free flow of information. Many other countries have opposed that opinion as an invasion and violation of sovereignty and as a violation of the 1967 Treaty and the UN Charter. Since declaration of the First Year of Outer Space in 1985, our country have promoted the plan of launching communication and broadcasting satellites. With the Koreasat launched in 1995 as the start, a real satellite-telecommunication era was opened in korea. According to this new development of our country, there will also rise various legal problems related to satellite broadcasting and telecommunication such as the inflow of foreign programs, the permeation of culture and the infringement of program copyright. Consequently the effective reactions to these problems in satellite-communication era should be tried including international cooperation. It is therefore to take into careful consideration the legal issues which may arise in outer space activities and to formulate positive policy on international cooperation with surrounding or advanced countries and international organization concerned. For this purpose the United Nations also prepares the UNISPACE III in 1999, to enable the international community to meet a more promising 21st century.
Recently, the widespread usage of 3D-Printing has grown rapidly in popularity and development of a high level technology for 3D-Printing has become more necessary. Given these circumstances, effectively using mathematical knowledge is required. So, we have developed free web tools for 3D-Printing with Sage, for mathematical 3D modeling and have utilized them in college education, and everybody may access and utilize online anywhere at any time. In this paper, we introduce the development of our innovative 3D-Printing environment based on Calculus, Linear Algebra, which form the basis for mathematical modeling, and various 3D objects representing mathematical concept. By this process, our tools show the potential of solving real world problems using what students learn in university mathematics courses.
Objectives : We evaluated anti-hyperlipidemia effect of Gyeongshinganjeehwan (GGEx) in high fat induced obese male micro-pigs. Methods : 7 month-old micro-pigs are fed with normal (n = 3) or high fat diet (n = 18) for 12 weeks. The pig revealed obesity in high fat diet were divided into 2 groups (n = 5 each) and vehicle (OMP) and Gyeongshingangjeehwan (GGEx, 616.7 mg/kg/day) were administrated for 1 month. We monitored the changes in body weight and measured plasma cholesterol, triglyceride, free fatty acid, GOT and, GPT after 1 month. The visceral fat were measured with computerized tomography and weights of various organs were measured after sacrifice. Results : 1. GGEx group had significantly reduced body weight gain than obese control group in statistics. 2. GGEx group didn't significantly differ from obese control group in blood total cholesterol, blood LDL-cholesterol, blood triglyceride. but it's data were similar to normal control group. 3. GGEx group had prominantly reduced visceral fat than obese control group in computerized tomography. 4. Blood GOT and GPT didn't differ from between groups. The organ weight were not significant different. And it is normal in size and colour of visceral organs. Conclusions : It is concluded that GGEx has anti-hyperlipidemia effect by improving visceral fat and access to security.
The effects of dietary humic substances (HS) on egg Production and egg Quality were studied using 252(55-wk old) ISA brown laying hens. laying were divided into 21 groups of 12 hens each and seven groups (experimental units) were assigned to 1) CON (basal diet), 2) HS5 (basal diet 4- 5% humic substances) or 3) HS10 (basal diet +10% humic substances) in a completely randomized block design. Hens had free access to diets and water fur 6 wk. Egg Production and egg quality were monitored over the 6-wk Period. Results showed that 10% dietary HS decreased egg Production and yolk diameter (P<0.05) compared to CON. Egg weight and yolk cole. were improved (P<0.05) in HS10 compared to CON. Egg shell breaking strength was increased significantly (P<0.05) when hens were fed HS5 diet compared to the others. There were no effects of treatments on egg shell thickness, yolk index, albumen height and Haugh nit. The results suggest that the dietary supplementation of HS at 5% or 10% decreases egg Production, but HS at 5% can increase egg shell breaking strength. Hens fed 10% HS could increase egg weight and yolk color and decrease yolk diameter.

Cold plasma has been developed to reduce microbial contamination and to improve safety of food and medical products. In addition, the technology can be used in the manufacture of sausages without addition of nitrite. To be applied in food industry commercially, the new technology should be safe and efficient. However, toxicological test of plasma-treated food is limited. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the mutagenicity and immune toxicity of the meat products cured with plasma-treated water (PTW) as a nitrite source. Emulsion sausages were prepared with no nitrite (control), sodium nitrite (SCS), and PTW (SCP). For a mutagenicity test, the Ames test was performed with the sausage samples. For immune toxicity test, 8-wk-old female Balb/c mice were given free access to the sausages in order to evaluate the tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α level. As a result, no mutagenicity was detected in the sausages by the Ames test. The serum TNF-α values were less than 10 pg/mL in mice after feeding control and treated samples for 32 d, indicating that no inflammatory response was occurred by feeding the sausages made by PTW. Therefore, the present study opens the possibility of using plasma-treated water as a nitrite source without any toxicity.
